Yes! 50 to 48, and Senator Murkowski (sp) did a very nice gesture. At the end of the vote before numbers were announced she announced she would pair her vote with the Republican Senator who was gone so he could take his daughter down the aisle at her wedding today. She renounced her no vote since he was a yes vote and could not be there today.

Just switched on the telly...CNN..caught the top Republican Senator , Mitch McConnel calling those AMERICANS demonstrating and speaking out..think it's called the 1st Amendment ..the right guaranteed...a MOB.... Who are composing that MOB …? Lets see...and one does not have to be actually there to voice disappointment and disagreement...be a part of that MOB..there are woman, grandmothers, men, fathers, sons DECORATED VETERANS, some carrying wounds received in battle protecting this country...actually this so called Senate leader.... Actually as I think about it...I am HONORED to be considered by this so called leader,,, remember , his ,Mitch McConnel, prime objective, his own words captured on film and tape, when elected to this post was to see President Obama never received a second term.. to be part of this MOB. |

Winters spent in DC...occasional trip North...fall, summers spent say along the coast..beautiful...Bush family get away in Maine forever...not there because of hardship believe me...National park..Lobster, clams galore....what's not to like. In a way...Collins did disappoint me and since she isn't running till 2020 she did not have to cave ..Trump will have his own troubles in 2020...need her support possible more then vice versa... |

So, if your daughter gets sexually assaulted, do you REALLY want a guy behind the bench telling her she deserved it. Or, she must have accused the wrong guy, because he "looks like a nice guy to me". Plus, forces your daughter to have her rapist's baby? Because, that's where we're now headed. If you were a supporter of Kavanaugh, there is going to be hell to pay, and I suspect it'll happen sooner rather than later. |
