I find the whole thing (except Weiner's weiner) fascinating. It is an odd marriage, an odd situation, odd that she has relatives in Muslim Brotherhood. How could anyone say this is not interesting? It could be a flipping movie for crying out loud. This dhimmi attitude of trying to shut down any discussion of anything Islam is just stupid. What's stupid is trying to brew this story about a couple's marital disaster into a story about Islam.

That's how I see it, cereb. It's nothing but tawdry gossip at this point. To give it some patina of legitimacy, we'll couch it in worry over Islam and the Muslim Brotherhood. A pig's ear is still a pig's ear.

The long and short of this story is that some of us MIND having MB type people in power spots in our country, and some of us DON'T. Irreconcilable difference, I think. So goes politics..

They don't care, Marsha. It isn't that it is an issue, it is that they just do not see a problem with it. It's all very bizarre, and probably why they decided to pull Weinerman out. HOPING this would not come to light. His Weinerman exploits blew it wide open, not us. We didn't even know until he decided to show what a farce the marriage is to him.

Huma Abedin the top confident and closest aide for Hillary Clinton was an assistant editor to an Islamic Journal called “Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs” www.imma.org.uk/editorialboard.htmwww.observer.com/2007/hillary-s-mystery-woman-who-huma?page=0%2C1Huma Abedin is not only an assistant for Hillary Clinton but she is her top confident, her secret weapon according to a quote from an aide to Hillary Clinton in the New York Observer article: “No one knows anything about her,” said one political aide. “She’s like Hillary’s secret weapon.” In fact now we know something about Huma Abedin the top confident for Hillary Clinton, we know that she is an assistant editor of an Islamic journal headed by her Islamic scholar mother and founded by her Islamic scholar father. www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1924323/posts

Who is funding a lifestyle that includes never wearing the same clothes twice? The Saudi Royals?

never seen her wear the same outfit twice
Same Outfit is not the same as the Same Cloths. Our office manager has never worn the same outfit twice that I have seen in the last 3 years, she does wear the same cloths, just in different ways.

Maybe her pal Oscar loans her clothes? Says he doesn't want to die without seeing her in a strapless gown. Loves to dress her.

Maybe it is just Oscar, then, and his hero worship of the Clintons, and not the Saudis.......

So, by extrapolation, it would seem you believe if a person has relatives in jail, that person must be in jail, as well. If your brother is affiliated with the neo-nazis, you must be affiliated with them, as well. I don't see things that way. I'd hazard a guess (and hope to heck I'm right) most people don't.

What someone wears, or how often, is really not relevant to anything. Just more gossip. Heck, I could probably go over a year without appearing to wear the same outfit twice. Buying classics allows a lot of variety. No. The Saudi royal family does not finance my wardrobe.

The problem is clear here, when people like mmhmm, no reason to believe she is anything other than a good person, accept this as normal and okay. Gives me the creeps.. not you, mmhmm, the whole idea that MB infiltrating the USA gov't is fine and dandy. Let me ask you, mmhmm.... if some person, any person, connected to.. let's say the KKK, was involved with high level politicians, or IS a high level politician-- would that bother you at all?? It would bug the hell out of me. Byrd bothered me. But Dems loved him... how do people DO that?? Oh, KKK, no prob. MB-- no prob. Peace, love, dove... Gimme a break here... How about if some living abortion doc killer, or McVeigh, close relatives want to work for.. say.. Clinton... would that be A-OKAY, even though they hang out with and are loyal to homegrown terrorists??

If the person was actually proven to be connected to the KKK, it would definitely be a reason to want them gone, krickitt. If, however, the person's relative was proven to be connected to the KKK, it would not automatically paint the original person with the same brush.

Now let's start with that "apartment in the vicinity of 12th and U streets in Washington, D.C". The most money Huma Abedin ever earned, as a Senate staffer, within a single one year time span, was from April 1, 2005 to March 31, 2006: 04/01/05 to 09/30/05: $17,999.96 10/01/05 to 03/31/06: $9,999.96 TOTAL: $27,999.92 Let's see what kind of a 30-year mortgage that salary would qualify her for: GMAC Mortgage Qualifier Calculator Cash on hand: $10,000 Interest rate: 6.250% Term: 30 Years Property tax: 1.00% Home insurance: 0.50% gmacmortgage.com Monthly car payment(s): $300 Credit card payment(s): $100 Other loan payment(s): $0 Other closing costs: $800 An annual income of $28,000 may qualify you for $54,828 loan. Monthly car payment(s): $0 Credit card payment(s): $0 Other loan payment(s): $0 Other closing costs: $0 An annual income of $28,000 may qualify you for $82,049 loan. So it appears that Huma Abedin ought to be eligible for a mortgage loan in the general range of $50,000 to $85,000. Square 0273, Lot 2128 Owner Name: HUMA ABEDIN Sale Price: $649,000 Sale Date: 09/18/2006 Taxable Assessment: $515,900 www.taxpayerservicecenter.com/RP_Search.jsp?search_type=Assessment www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1921983/postsAnd an enviable collection of Marc Jacob handbags for which she has a weakness? $350-$1500 a pop.

This really is crazy, but DOES explain why Huma and Weinerdude were seen shopping without a care in the world, with him humming piped in music and smiling.. arranged marriage?? For BOTH of them?? Could be.. now that is gossip, but the rest isn't. And it makes sense. Sometimes what seems to be is what is..

mmhmm... can anyone get any closer to the MB than Huma, without being an Imam?? There are probably those who could, krickitt, but it's not material ... unless, that is, we know they are conspiring with the MB in some way. In this case, we do not possess that information ... unless one wishes to consider speculation and assumption as "information".

Heh. Let's put it this way: I have a brother several years younger than I. I would definitely not want to be painted with the same brush that has smeared him. We were raised in the same house, by the same parents; yet, we are as different as night and day. Some of my acquaintances are involved in things I'd not wish to be involved in (none of them, to my knowledge, subversive ... or even political), so I stay out of it. When I see the word "if" associated with accusations, I treat it exactly as it is ... "iffy".

I'll bet in your family, mmhmm, if a woman married outside her religion she wouldn't get her head chopped off? I don't think your experience is quite like Huma Abedin's experience.

The funny thing is that a lot of these men cheat on wives who are absolutely beautiful or stunning. Go figure. As shallow as I am, I must admit that it takes more than just beauty to make a worthy mate. We do not know how loving, caring, or giving these wives are. In some of these cases, these women do not support their husbands either emotionally or in the bedroom and thus they seek out other women.
