"I mean our outside auditors were saying oh the crazy hours are ok bc we can say we work for E&Y. Yeah they are working 6 days a week on my audit, I don't know when they are bragging about working for E&Y."
My sister is an auditor for E&Y and is getting married in September. She does work some crazy hours, more than I'd ever care to. Does a lot of traveling too.

DS lives in the south, we all do but I have moved to Midwest to be with DF. I have told him he is going to have to move to NE or at least north to not find a train wreck. But then she won't want to move south and he's a southern boy thru and thru just like his momma!!!

...:::"Depends a lot on the area. In the south, I'm always amazed at how young people get married there. In metropolotin areas with lots of jobs, 28 is considered young to get married because people are trying to establish careers.":::...
Yes, exactly. A few years ago I was at Downtown Disney in Anaheim, and saw lots of 21-22 year-olds pushing strollers with two babies. I hear in some areas in Utah, a lot of weddings happen within a week or two of high school graduation.

I live in a "what's your rush?" area also, which has been kind of weird for me since I grew up in circles where people got married pretty young. At 25, I'm getting a lot of "holy crap you're way too young!" comments, and I actually feel like this is the perfect age. I've had seven years to be a young independent adult with no significant ties to anyone, and now I have the rest of my twenties to get a head start on a productive and happy partnership with DF.
Plus, we're thinking about having kids in three to five years - if we were already in our thirties, waiting like that wouldn't really be an option.

There were a few in my HS class who got married right out of school, but most seemed to wait until mid to late 20's, and there were still plenty of us 30 somethings, too. I can't think of a bigger recipe for disaster than marriage right out of high school and babies soon after. I'm a completely different person than I was when I was 18 and the marriage would not have lasted.

A shotgun was probably the only way you would have gotten me to the altar prior to me turning 30.

Seems like everyone around me is having babies long before they get married, course that is probably because I utilize the daycare right next to the high school, so I have a skewed data base to draw from.
