Could we get a travel forum or sub-forum? I know quite a few posts in EE mention travel related topics. It could turn out to be a nice resource for people when they are trying to save money on vacation.

artemis, exalting is on everyone's profile, as karma. you can exalt someone else (give them 1 karma point) every hour. others exalt you in return.
we can have whatever boards we want (other than porn/ T & A).. so i will consider that, especially if others say they want it.
re: quote button in quick reply- i will look for hacks..

One more suggestion, then I'll keep quiet... When you are using the "Jump to page" box is there any way to make it so you can hit the "enter" key instead of clicking the "go"? I always forget and hit enter...

i'll look into that too. one other thing you can do is hover your mouse over the word "page" and it will pop out a list of pages to choose from.. but that's not perfect either because i sometimes miss what i'm going for and have to start over..

Yeah, I'm challenged when it comes to that option... it rarely works for me.

Thanks moonbeam - I only asked for the halo because the WIR use it to keep track of debt totals paid off and that one happens to equal $25k, which is a big milestone but I think the angel will be fine.
EDIT: Also, WIR use these all the time as well for our tracking purposes...if you could add them, it would be so wonderful:
Island with palm trees, the one that looks like it is going to puke (green face), the red face that doesn't move and is looking to the left that isn't the devil.
Again, thank you for all you do.

Thanks so much for creating a forum for us lost msn souls.
Is there any way to add a "new" link that pops up when there are new posts in a thread? The link would send the user to the newest unread post.
The WIR preggo thread has the potential to get very lengthy (as do others, I'm sure.) It would be nice to be able to jump to the newest unread post.
Thanks so much for your help!

is there someway to search for members and select to the "to" field when composing a PM? Rose, i've looked all through the hacks and can find no way to do a search for members within the PM area. the only thing i could suggest is to look up their usernames ahead of time.. sorry! The only thing that would make the quick reply perfect, is if you were able to add an icon to create the quote box. =) Thyme, this is another one that i can't find any code hacks for... One more suggestion, then I'll keep quiet... When you are using the "Jump to page" box is there any way to make it so you can hit the "enter" key instead of clicking the "go"? I always forget and hit enter... SUCCESS!! i thought it wasn't working at first, but it does! Is there any way to add a "new" link that pops up when there are new posts in a thread? The link would send the user to the newest unread post. Hi Jenna.. This already exists, actually..Rovo discovered that if you click the word "new" to the left of a thread title, it will take you to the first unread post.

OK... many of you have had great suggestions for cosmetic changes that will make your experience here a bit better. I have completed some: - added a sports board
- put a navigation tree at the bottom of the board as well as the top
- gotten easier to read buttons in place (not fully complete and is only on the default skin right now, but i'm working on it)
- made it so when you post, it goes to the bottom of the thread
If you have other suggestions, please post them in this thread. I will try to do as many as I can, but it will depend on if i can find a code hack on the support boards. on the Honda message boards I can click on my name and choose between list all comments posted by me and list all topics posted by me. I would like to be able to click on my name and see where I have posted. this will make things faster than me trying to remember. Thanks

big cat, in your profile you can see it.. but it may be just as easy, when you post to a thread, to bookmark it. to do that, you have to use the full reply link (rather than quick reply). then in between the area where you post and the button you push, there is a box you check to bookmark. you can then go to your profile, and click the 'bookmarks' link and it will give you those threads.
i also see that you can set your bookmark preferences to receive either a PM or an email when a new post is made to that thread.

Thanks, don't know how I missed that.
ETA: Might have missed it due to my bookmarking of the thread, and the way I opened the thread.

Can we get a feature added that allows you to include "If the new post is from *****, *******, or ****** don't notify me because I couldn't care less".

I know I said I'd keep quiet, but... when writing in the text boxes before there was auto spell check (you know, where the red squiggly underlined the questionable word). What happened to that? I much preferred that to having to actually perform the spell check. Can we get that back? Or is that a user preference I can choose somewhere?

Hi, I am a displaced MSN Siri/XM message board poster. This board was suggested to me by LongSam (yes, i'm name dropping, unless that works against me, then just forget I ever mentioned her name...just kidding Sammy, you know I Love You.). Anyway, how bout' a Sirius Message board of it's own? It may not get much action at first but will most likely pick up steam after a while as Sirius investors tend to be a "passionate" bunch. Thoughts?

rose/ bigboy, i still get a red squiggly line... i deliberately misspelled a word or two just to check.. not sure why you aren't seeing the same thing.

Notification of Change: The smilies have been organized by group and given intuitive (and in some cases, shorter) hash codes. This should eliminate the need for memorizing 2_2, 1_12, etc. Apologies to those who already memorized the old codes. For example, # slaps #, without the spaces:
