No. If that were the case, I'd have embedded the smileys in groups three layers deep and given each top-level group a meaningless name.
For a "sad" smiley: Office Button > Production > Depth > Feel > Sad Emoticon
For a "rose" smiley: Office Button > Production > Singleton > Lively > Home > Rose Emoticon
If other posters agree with TD2K's assessment, however, I encourage them to PM TD many times to show their support. ;D

I can't get over how great and responsive who ever is doing all this to these boards are..my only suggestion would be a thread, a permanent one, guess the word "thread" is the wrong term..but a permanent what ever..of all answers of questions so one can go directly to it for help in understanding all the changes made and how to impliment them..I am a complete 110% doofus when it comes to anything computereze ..and forget what I read and need time to think and practice and I forget where I saw those examples and suuggestions.
Realize that may be to hard to find them all but thought I would mention it.
But your constant tweaking and bettering what ever you do , to me is impressive as hell and most appreciated.

my only suggestion would be a thread of all answers of questions so one can go directly to it for help in understanding all the changes made and how to impliment them hey dezi  i have a section called How-To in the general area, which is at least a start on how to use all this stuff. It's not done yet, of course, but it addresses the questions we see a lot. |

the words "how-to" in my previous post are a link to it..
otherwise, go out to the main page where you see all the different categories. Go into the General Board, and the How-To is a sub-board right at the very top.

I wish that this board would come up in a google search. I will want to peek at work and I can't bookmark in the computer lab. I am not an expert, but I have some vague recollection that using the right meta keywords helps with this. Jeez - I know html; I think my age is showing. I'm sure someone else would know more, but here is an example line from CNNs politics homepage. How about putting the HOME, NEW TOPICS, etc button at the bottom of the page as well as the top? Now that I've found the NEW TOPICS button I love it, and find I have to scroll all the way back to the top of the screen after reading a thread.... Of course, I could just stop being so darn lazy. I would find this helpful too... <<yawn>> lazy slacker here... Daphne - I usually just hit "home" on my keyboard to take me to the top instead of scrolling ;D |
