Now he's single again, what a pity. Well that was um fun, I had to chase the insert around with my mouse. It does seem to love adding in newlines.

I wish there was a dog day, where everyone had to post a picture of a dog before they could post. I think Mondays would be a good day for that. Mondays often suck and dogs pictures would be a good counter to that.

My wish is to be able to create my own dashboard / view with just the sections I follow. There is so much (great!) by years older threads that it gets bver confusing! Thanks! Michelle

michelle12: Have you looked into the "bookmarks" feature? If you bookmark a thread, it appears in your bookmarks list (click on "Bookmarks" in the main menu at the top of a page). You can see which threads have been updated, and by default Proboards will notify you whenever any of your bookmarked threads is updated. For example, I came to this thread because I have it bookmarked and Proboards notified me there was a new post. To bookmark a thread, select "Bookmark" under the "Actions" menu next to the search box near the top right of any thread.

Just seems like there are a lot of no longer used subboards - I will get used to only looking at what I need I am sure!

You can also receive notifications for specific boards. To do that, you click the Actions drop down and click Notification Options. Other notification options are in your profile, btw.
If you hadn't noticed, you can collapse the categories you don't want to see and expand those you do, as well. If you have cookies enabled, it will remember your selection.

I wish for a special countdown clock be put on the top of the board for poll closing time on the West Coast.

Sorry, billisonboard ...Didn't see this until right now, and it's a little late to do it at this point. What I wanted to do, and couldn't, was have a widget that would provide real time results. Couldn't find such a thing.

Is there an option to select just the sections that we want to see in the New Topics - For example if I want to ignore EE and Politics and see everything else that has been posted that is new, is there a way to do it?
Thanks

Thanks To my knowledge, there's no function to allow that at this point. ProBoards is working on V6 as we speak. I don't know, however, if such a function will be available when it's released and no release date has been announced at this time.

What I do is mark the threads that I am not interested in as "Read - Forever". That way the "New" button doesn't show up on that thread. I can scan quicker the ones that I have an interest in and have a new comment.
