There is a reason we don't have school kids memorize the vice presidents.

At least Kamala can properly spell potato. Or at least I think she can.

The only constitutional duty the VP has is to break a tie in Congress. Otherwise their sole purpose is to be a body ready to take over if something happens to the president. I have also been very confused when people rant about Kamala being a "do nothing' VP. How many VPs in history have "done something"? VPs don't set policy. VPs cannot sign things into law. I remember Al Gore making climate change his platform. I remember Dan Quail misspelling potato. Otherwise I got nothing. She is a woman and black so must be held to a quadrupled higher standard.

People who claim Kamala hasn’t done anything as CP should list all of Pence’s accomplishments first

stats and perception are 2 different animals. I live better under republican leadership than I ever do under Democrat no matter what a chart says. I also am comforted with a strong leader who will let it be known the they will destroy another country on a whim rather than kiss their ass. there is a lot to unpack here. first of all, any country would be insane to attack the US. it really doesn't matter who is president. even if we play to a draw, they lose. we don't need our crazy uncle running things for them to be scared. i have lived better under Democrats by far. i grew my first business 5-fold under Clinton. i lost a ton of money during the first (and worst) four years of Bush. i did well for a few years, then the real estate bubble burst, and i went underwater on my Mortgage. under Obama, i went back in the black on my house, sold it, and bought a commercial building. that has been my best investment ever, and it has done wonderfully. Trump and Biden have been about the same for me in terms of how well i have done. my objection to Trump has nothing to do with the economy, even though he managed it worse by every reasonable measure. it has to do with the fact that he is a self absorbed criminal. All in all this is going to be over in a week and half. Then the group that lost will complain about the group that won. Life goes on.

[br Of course the same mindset exists now, but with a cursory examination of rudimentary economic indicators, it’s easy to find the truth. Yet his minions insist the economy sucks. Go figure. What it tells me is half the country gets a D- in EVON 101. if you only have one source for your information, and he lies 75% of the time, then AT LEAST 75% of what you believe is bullshit.Fixed it for you since the assumption behind your statement is that he is 100% correct the 25% of the time he is not lying. That seems more than just improbable, it is impossible. He just isn't smart enough to even come close

Especially if the convicted felon loses and is sentenced to do some prison time.

Aw, I was waiting for the pro trumpers to get around to telling us about how trump will subsidize the cost of gas with Federal Tax dollars so that Americans can enjoy those super low gas prices. Maybe trump will get the old money printing presses going and give trillions to the Big Oil companies. Big Oil companies are NOT charities so they won't give American's a special discount on oil/gas without getting something in return. Think about it. The purpose of a corporation (or any business) is to MAKE money and be able to pay it's owners/stockholders/upper management/employees AND have some money left over to fund future projects/research/grow the business. Since I had a conversation with a relative who believes the President controls gas prices - here's how it would work: trump would force Big Oil to lower their prices for Americans. But, Big Oil would do this because trump would let Big Oil produce MORE oil/products in America (more fracking, more drilling, more pipelines, more everything!!!). With all that extra product - Big Oil would be able to sell more oil/products to foreign countries (and would be able to charge lower prices than other oil supplying countries). America would corner the market! the President could then dictate what prices Big Oil charges to Americans. With all the money Big Oil would be getting from the sale of products (exports) they'd be willing and able to charge less to Americans. Of course, Americans would be paying MORE for all the stuff that is imported into America (made with all that higher costing oil products other countries bought from us).... but hey, gas would be cheap. That's HOW the president controls gasoline prices - by dictating HOW Big Oil should do business. The person who outlined this for me is all for smaller government and states rights. But, I guess it's ok if the Government controls the price of gas, who gets fracking/drilling, refineries, how that effects the people who live near these places, how much exported oil products should cost, and control all the infrastructure needed to drill, refine, ship the products, etc... It all made my head hurt. Apparently anytime you don't have enough knowledge/information everything works by "magic". When we asked for Universal Healthcare they said “Look at what socialism did to Venezuela!” And then they turn around and say the President should tell the oil and gas industry what their prices should be. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤡🤣🤣🤣🤣 Who is going to tell them?

If Reps take the WH, congress, and senate, they will contort themselves into tighter knots rationalizing the blame on Dems somehow if they don’t get their cheap gas.
