Illegals will work for less than minimum wage, you don’t have to pay social security, payroll taxes, benefits, or workers comp. So you ask me that would I be willing to pay higher prices for citizens to pick the food and cut the meat. I said cost is cost. I don't care if the cost are higher hell the cost of food is high period. I has be wondering do you like the cheaper cost? Is that why you support illegal labor? That is a false assumption. Asking you if you are aware of all the ramifications of your choice is not the same as supporting illegal labor. It is easy to say, "Deport all illegals." It is not quite as easy for some when they have to deal with the consequences of doing so. And there ARE consequences, with higher costs being a significant (and probably the main) one. Totally unsurprising though that you would both mischaracterize the discussion and be insulting too....

Lord have mercy! If those folks were on my flight, I'd ask for a parachute. And I've never used one.

I would go with 7. Might be interesting seeing McConnell try to speak in public. And I'd try to move Hulk Hogan off of Trump and talk about wrestling instead. That I would find interesting.

On the other hand, if this is cast of characters you see when you enter the plane, might be safer to turn back around and walk back into the airport.

I'm going with seat three. At least Satan believes in free will and respects a deal.

Seat 2, with a copy of General McMaster's new book and a desire to share parts of it out loud to Mitch across the aisle.

Seat 2, with a copy of General McMaster's new book and a desire to share parts of it out loud to Mitch across the aisle. Have you gotten the book? Looks like interesting reading. And I was stunned, stunned at one excerpt verbally that he indicated just during the interview with you with regard to Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, where Donald Trump thought he could win his way with Putin by offering him a free room at Mar-a-Lago, whatever, that his personality would dominate Vladimir Putin. Vladimir Putin is one of the most dangerous people in the world. And the President of the United States thinking he can win him over with a smile and a meal or whatever Donald Trump thought was shocking to me, hearing that from General Mcmaster.www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/morning-joe-stunned-by-hr-mcmaster-s-tightrope-framing-of-trump-despite-frightening-scenes-in-new-book/ar-AA1pvXL3?ocid=BingNewsSerp

Yeah I’m going to have to go with aisle 9 because those two loathe each other and I think it would be easy to goad them into a serious blow out, which would be entertaining. At least if it’s a short flight.

Never mind. You’re too dumb to have a rational discussion. Hummmm. Does this comment fit in to the COC rules? I would guess that if one were really concerned about being called dumb, that they would try to not do things that would prompt such a reaction rather than call attention to it by whining. But hey, you do you.

Lord have mercy! If those folks were on my flight, I'd ask for a parachute. And I've never used one. I’d probably take 7 - window seat, and don’t underestimate my ability to completely ignore someone. Of course - 3 is also a window seat - so that would work for me too. I guess it depends if it is one of those planes that is super cold or warm.

Too much hot air in there and the devil to boot!

Just dropping this here...
Disrupting and creating civil unrest at polling places. And here is the first outline I've come across for how trump supporters MAY disrupt the vote on Election Day:
From the video:
Disrupting and creating civil unrest at polling places.
How trump and trump supporters MIGHT Disrupt and create civil unrest at polling places.
Mass gatherings at key polling locations in battleground states like Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, Arizona, Nevada, maybe Wisconsin. Find/target the critical polling places in Democratic (urban) areas. In the weeks before the Election start spreading misinformation and conspiracy theories and voter fraud and rigged elections. That justifies the need to "be there" on Election DAy to protect the vote and to start organizing groups of agitators.
Then on Election day, they mobilize these groups. If it's legal to carry guns in certain states within the law - go as far as they can legally go with the displays of weapons. They create a sense of chaos outside the polling places. They make it difficult to get to the polling places at peak times. Which may generate longer and longer lines as the polling places may be understaffed to deal with this. Chaos occurs as police are called out. And at that point they create civil unrest. Which might get the polling places closed down. Voters might start to be afraid to go to vote is it safe?
At that point they push the news that "fraud is happening" and more of their supporters come out. The chaos they caused helps facilitate calling the voting frudulent. They have lawyers ready to for legal arguments about the validity of the vote. And they keep that going for as long as they can after election day.
What they currently have (and have said that they have): Lawyers ready for spurious legal arguments. the desire to see voters intimidated either by law enforcement or protesters or adverserarial election workers - they have that.
What we don't know is if they are planning to disrupt polling places...

this will harm the GOP more than Democrats, i think. in person voting skews conservative. in other words, if this is their idea, it will backfire.
if we are worried about this, i suggest we give out free MAGA hats to EVERYONE in line.

I think the important thing is they will do it ... at key polling locations ...

They will do it - at "key polling places" - which means polling places that traditionally vote "blue". They may target polling places that could go either way - especially if there is a large minority presence (that perhaps doesn't traditional vote in large numbers.) It won't backfire.

Introducing additional random people into the equation doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

I wonder if the whole "people eating pets" thing and Springfield OH is a "trial run" for how MAGA/GOP will disrupt the vote.
What happens when trump starts screaming about voter fraud and the election being stolen from him right before the election and pinpoints the county or counties where it's supposedly happening? What happens when people are afraid to vote?
I'm not hearing much about "voter fraud" and another "stolen election" from the trump camp - but maybe it's because I'm in an echo chamber that isn't amplifying that part of his speeches or rhetoric.
Is MAGA still chanting "fight! fight! fight!" on cue??

I know I should not do that - but Trump is sofa king crazy - I can’t hear anything but his lunacy when any conservative talking points come up.

I saw a poll yesterday that said 40% of GOP voters thought this election would be rigged, and 15% of them were willing to fight to overturn the election if Trump gets cheated again. That sounds like a lot, but I figure of that 15%, I’m guessing half will be too old/out of shape to actually ‘fight’ - so hopefully the national guard can squash the remaining feisty 7%.

Lets do some math! Google tells me about 48% of people in the US are registered to vote. Actual number of voters is likely lower, but we'll start with that. Republicans are a subset of them; usually polls show Rep/Dem/Ind as roughly one third each, so one third of 48% is 16%. The 40% of Republicans voters would thus be 6.4%. Not entirely clear how to parse the last subdivision, but if it is 15% of the 40% then we are talking about .96%, that is, less than 1%. (If it instead means 15% of GOP voters, then it is 2.4%).
