Why is not being a rude asshole so tiring? That’s really what being politically correct is in the end.
I don’t get it.

Or we have have 45% of the country tired of the the progressive left bullshit this country sliding into. Tired of trying to excuse debt for peoples poor educational choices
Tired of normalizing transgenderism
Tired of convincing the people of the US that nationalism is bad
Tired blaming an object for deaths when it is a person fault (people are so fucking dumb on this one)
Tired of helping other countries out with nothing in return
Tired of hearing about climate change
Tired of letting people in the country and wasting millions to take care of them
So yea if someone is running for president and is against some or most of those things which would be against a democrat because they love all that shit. We don't care if they have been convicted of a felony the above mention is worse.
Well said SC. I'm tired also. And as probably the only other conservative on this board I'm with you. I"ll add a few other things to your list. 1. I'm tired of having to be politically correct.
2. I'm tired of liberals using euphemisms for things. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it's a duck. Calling it a merganser doesn't change anything. It's still a duck. Plain and simple. 3. I'm tired of the govt giving away tax dollars to persons who come into the US illegally or use the "asylum" excuse. They know if they say asylum they will be let in and given assistance. And a court date 5-7yrs in the future. How many are really going to show up?
Tired of being politically correct? It’s just what you should have learned in elementary school. If you can’t say something nice keep your mouth shut. Keep your hands to yourself. Don’t make fun of people who are different from you. If it’s tiring to follow those rules, go ahead and be an asshole. Shouldn’t be an issue until you piss off someone bigger than you, but that’s always been an occupational hazard for bullies.

Conservatives sure were butt hurt when Hilary called some of them a basket of deplorables. Accurate but not politically correct. They only want to be able to call others names. They sure are snowflakes when they are the ones on the receiving end. Led by their snowflake-in- chief, Trump

I've found that these people who excuse Trump's behavior and make a far fetched list of why they hate DEMS sit and listen to those far right pod cast, news stations, etc and have been told over and over again how bad it is. I've seen up close and personal how angry and bitter they have become. I used to have Rush on when I was running errands back in the day and that man couldn't sputter out venom fast enough. I had Mark Levin on during my ride home and sometimes I really thought his head was going to explode. Now, imagine listening to this day in and day out. These people are radicalized and full of hate. Like Trump, their childish behavior leads them to the point of hate anything bipartisan even if IT IS GOOD FOR THE COUNTRY.
I wish they would all move to Italy!

How come we aren't getting these "illegal" immigrants "legal"? Apparently there are plenty of jobs avaiblable in America that Americans don't want to do. Looks like we got a pool of people who could be employed (and contributing via payroll taxes AND consumerism). Why does it take 5 to 7 YEARS to get through the court system? Why does it take YEARS to become an American citizen? How come Melania Trump got fast tracked to citizenship but the non-American spouses of Americans have a much more difficult and longer path to citizenship? How come Melania had such an easy time getting citizenship for her parents? (I'm assuming neither Melania nor her parents had W2 income at any point.) Why?? Why is it so hard for regular people?? America is a consumer based economy. Isn't America a mostly Capitalist country?? Why hasn't anyone figured out how to PROFIT from getting the immigrants citizenship and work and CONSUMING. Italy doesn’t want them. They will not like how “woke” the EU is. Right? I am rather surprised that the solution is to move to Europe which most conservatives consider to be even more of a liberal wasteland than the US is. Just quick googling searching says Italy has socialized health care, low cost college, parental leave up to 11 months, maternity leave up to 5 months. 23-43% tax rate. All those things they rail about people talking about America having as a fellow developed nation. Not understanding the logic. The EU has everything conservatives despise liberals for even mentioning in conversation.

What happened to the saying "I might disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."
Just the hate for people who are not like MAGA is anti-democratic.

in-person voting fraud is almost non-existent. so yes, the main fraud occurs with mail-in ballots. and yes, we could go to 100% in-person. but we would have to have about 10x the resources for elections that we are currently allocating. actually, it might surprise you to learn that i am mildly in favor of this idea. but only if we create a national holiday for elections. Mail-in vote fraud is almost non-existent as well. Large-scale fraud of the kind that Trump continually rants about is "preposterous." A 2020 article from NPR: It goes on to list some of the safeguards and other aspects that would make such a claim impossible, and this: Kim Wyman was the Washington Secretary of State, who is responsible for elections in the state. She is a Republican who was respected enough to be elected statewide in a blue state, and had formerly served as a county elections director for a decade in addition to being a county auditor. She left her position to work on election security in the Biden administration. Well-respected by BOTH sides. and we can add that it is almost ALWAYS done by Republicans. not always, but almost always. they claim that "illegals" are voting, but this has never been shown, and doesn't pass the test of logic for anyone who bothers to think about it.

Republicans in general have not relied on logic for anything in a very long time. Yes, organized voter fraud is almost always done by Republicans. Many cases of individual voter "fraud" are probably better categorized as mistakes, although there are certainly some cases of actual fraud. Disenfranchisement, which is MUCH more prevalent and far more damaging, is perpetrated almost exclusively by Republicans. The basic calculation is that Republicans don't want everyone to vote, because they know that more people voting equals a greater chance of them losing. If they can't win on ideas, they will try to win by limiting who votes.

Just like nobody is ever criticized simply for being a conservative. They are criticized for saying a lot of silly, stupid, ignorant, logically-inconsistent, bigoted, racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic things all the time.

I'm not sure if they are up to the harshness of some of the laws. I have heard stories by people who have either lived there or have worked there for a bit. Their stories were most informative and let me know what to do and not to do. Abu Dhabi for example appears very beautiful but that pristine look comes with a heavy price for those who don' fall in line. Or could be targets because they aren't from here, are women, etc. Depending on their genetic make-up they might prefer places like Russia or Belarus. Closer to their ideals than Italy even if they like the food.

But who knows if they go to Italy, they might start an American mob and get some sons into the Vatican for future influence.

Are you willing to pay the higher prices that come along with hiring citizens to work in the food industry? The crops don't pick themselves, and the meats don't process themselves. There is labor cost either way. Why is that so different As of August 11th, fruit pickers make 16 bucks per hour. To do back breaking manual labor in hot fields all day. During the same time period, fast food workers in California earn 18 bucks an hour. American workers will not perform that kind of work for that low pay. Do some google searches to see how Florida farms are doing under DeSantis tough migrant worker bill. Food left rotting in the fields. If they do get workers, they pay more for them, and that cost gets passed on to the consumer. And MAGA blames Biden for the high food costs.

The cost of goods is mostly pretty simple. Supply & demand. The greater the demand for a product, the higher the price. Other things factor in too, like government regulations, competition (you don't want one company controlling any item, a monopoly isn't good for the economy). Maybe you noticed how something like the supply chain affected the demand for items like toilet paper when Covid was getting ugly. But, although the leader of a country often gets blamed for high prices, it's a lot more complicated than that. We used to go through calculations in economics when I was in college that would make your head spin, when companies would try to calculate the best price to set a new product at. The optimum price. Now, me being me, I never buy new technology. I ALWAYS wait until the price comes down.

1) there is no law against you being politically incorrect. be as politically incorrect as you wanna' be. burn flags. take a knee during the pledge. criticize capitalism. 2) don't let language annoy you. Republicans have been pretending that liberal means something different than what it means for 75 years. does it bother me? yes. it does. but i can take it, as long as i get to live, love, and laugh as i see fit. 3) part of living in a democratic republic is that you pay for things that you don't like. but let's be clear. Trump is not going to stop this. it is a violation of international law and the constitution to not permit asylum seekers in the US. we would have to break with the UN in order to get what you want. if that is what you want, have someone who runs on that. but NEITHER candidate is running on that.

A boot in the ass and git that is the result 90% of the time. the other 10% of the time they get in a very uncertain cue. i would also point out that they are not living here for free if they are in a cue. they have to get jobs, pay taxes, etc. they are working in our nursing homes, our restaurants, and in construction- doing jobs that spoiled white folks would not do even if they had a gun pointed to their heads. and yes, i can prove that.

Democrats in the US are Conservatives in Europe. no, i am not kidding. imagine where Democrats in Europe are.

Are you willing to pay the higher prices that come along with hiring citizens to work in the food industry? The crops don't pick themselves, and the meats don't process themselves. There is labor cost either way. Why is that so different white people won't work for FMW, as a rule.

And MAGA blames Biden for the high food costs. they tried doing this in Alabama or South Carolina, too. can't remember which state. one farmer hired 100 white people to pick vegetables for minimum wage. the second day ONE showed up. i am not kidding. ONE.

I ALWAYS wait until the price comes down. i would say that it is RARELY simple, not mostly. what the law of supply and demand requires is efficient markets. and markets are highly inefficient. for example, i am in the machinery business. i am in a niche market, which means that i can charge as much as the market will bear, because i basically have zero competition. i try to be FAIR about it, because i am that kind of person (ethical), if i net 10%, that is a good year. if i net 20%, i am in the market for equipment and property. very few markets are efficient, unfortunately, for the reasons you outlined.
