I wanna start running. I don't get my steps in like I used to. I figure if I add in one more workout day and make it running, that will be a step in the right direction. Thing is, I have no stamina. I know I can build it up, I just need to get started.

I know I can build it up, I just need to get started. This is why I have an elliptical. I detest running 95% of the time. I don't make it to the endorphin phase easily.

I've had this week off of work, and I've actually not worked! I am truly rested at this point. It's quite a nice feeling.

Welp, last week of 2023. I weighed 172 pounds this morning. I did well with water last week. I worked out five days last week. I thought I was doing better with eating, but my weight would indicate otherwise.

Have not checked in lately. Weight is up. Going to hope no more gain this year and reset next year.

I am at 199 this morning and I ate a ton of calories in the last 7 days. From doing WW years ago tracking points I often had a hard time getting in enough calories so not gaining after eating as much as I have does not surprise me. My brain knows that I do not eat enough so the body holds onto and adds weight, but trying to convince yourself to eat more in order to lose weight is a head trip.
For the immediate future I am going to focus on adding healthy higher calorie snacks and moving more. Going to discuss removing the large coffee table from the living room with DH today. Until I get a stand and TV in the home office it is the best place for exercising.

Well, the scale informed me we just finished the holidays. I've gone up to one pound below my recent worst weight. So, I'm getting back to work to lose it again. The only big holiday between now & DD's wedding is Easter.
Has anyone here tried resistance band leggings? I've ordered a pair, and once they arrive I will report back if I see any improvement from wearing them around the house.

I don't know if I'm getting old or just out of shape. I just struggled through 15 minutes on the elliptical. I didn't have trouble before. I'm going to keep doing it until it gets much easier.

I put my leggings on to wear around the house after they finished drying. I probably had them on about 8 hours and I did wake up with some muscle soreness. Mine haven't arrived yet, but they're supposedly on the way. The only problem is DHL handed off the package to USPS. I've got a feeling they won't be arriving here in a hurry. Did you take measurements before you began to wear them?
