Years ago at a multiple band concert I saw Willie Nelson on stage singing his heart out. But it turned out he wasn't singing the same song as the rest of the group. They turned off his mic and let him go and kept playing the song on the playlist. It was very funny. Oh my gosh - Willie was one of the first concerts newly married me and DH went to! He was appearing at Barton Coliseum in Little Rock. We could see backstage from our nosebleed seats. Clinton was our governor at the time. So here comes the governor, waiting backstage and watching the show. Someone hands him a beer just as the spotlight hit him. He put that thing down so fast - we all saw it and just laughed! It's okay Bill, drink your beer!

Sitting in hospital waiting room. DF is having a minor procedure. Had to check-in at 6:00 AM. Gosh that's early! I hope everything goes well!

Good morning, stoic invisipeeps, enduring all things medical for yourselves and your loved ones. Welcome to Monday. I hope this day breaks through the clouds of worry and pain and show you clearly the stars up ahead. I hope you enjoy a good hot cider. This bronchitis has me back on my heels. I awoke 3 times last night coughing, then slept right through the time to catch the dawn. Franklin the Dog woke me at 7:30. I'm tired. Whine, whine, more whining and a sigh. I am glad I've got a doctor's appointment today. She won't be happy, I think, because this was supposed to be an annual well check, but so be it. As long as I get the stuff that stops the coughing! It took all I had yesterday to do two loads of laundry, but now they're done. I haven't been going to the beach in the morning. I took this picture a year ago: These colors are just amazing! I hope you feel better!

Catching up on Grey's Anatomy. I may eat tamales soon. At some point I have to get up and clean. I should have done it yesterday, but I watched football instead. I would like a tamale, please and thank you. We had a tamale party at my cousin's house. Cranked out 10 dozen on Saturday and another 10 dozen yesterday. I got you.

I'm $200 poorer but the dryer no longer sounds like a jet. Lint build up. It's only 3 years old. I will have to try and keep up better with the part I can get to.
I swear all appliances are built to be disposable these days.

Went to the new Trader Joe's that opened two miles from my house. It seems much more spacious than the TJs I've been going for years and I think the aisles are wide enough to keep shopping cart bottlenecks at bay. I went at 12:30 on a Monday so as full as the parking lot looked, it wasn't bad inside at all. And now I can just pop in whenever I feel like it instead of doing a quarterly stock up. Yay!

Parent teacher done, at nine minutes a pop. He’s doing OK, with help and support-the math teacher, who had him for both basic and now accelerated math raved about how much better he was doing in accelerated And the science teacher has a far easier time…my comment was that his options with me as his mom were to like science, or to like science

Our hair appointment was cancelled, gal was sick, so got in at 3PM this afternoon. Got our script situation straightened out, so that is done.
I still need to get hubs pension transferred up here and DD's deposit up here so I can close the accounts in Indiana.
Hubs is doing better, got his antibiotic this morning, and pain pills. I should have gone as he is hurting again. Like he said not sure why it is still hurting in his back when it has moved down. They said he might have a long term infection so gave him antibiotics. I have an appointment tomorrow with my PCP and going to see if I can get treated for this stuff deep in my lungs. If I can cough deep enough I bring up sputum, but its hard. I have never had anything like this go on for months and noone will treat it, so hoping tomorrow they help me.
Hubs is laying on the couch, he needs to rest for a few days anyway, he was working hard around here and we intended to take this week off.
But I need to vac, make up beds, washed a load of clothes. Hubs got our new gate openers for us and sons family so we can get in and out of the gate during the night or after 7PM.
I spent another $184 for supplies and items from Amazon, damn, prices keep increasing. Catfood, waterproof undies for DD, and detergent. $21 catfood, undies $57, allergy free All $27, mayo $6, and a few other items. It's starting to get to us too. If we were low income earners I don't know how they are surviving. I ordered DD and I sweats from Walmart, 3 sets each so we can lower the temp in here. It's too hot for hubs, grandson and family, so she and I can fix that. We also found at night we need to leave our door open for it to circulate properly or the furnace runs and runs and gets it to 76 before kicking off, so have stopped that. There are return airs in there, but the door pretty much seals so doesn't allow it to recirculate. Tigger is sleeping with DD now, so off hubs feet, but Smoke is back in beside me, he doesn't bother me, he sleeps by my calves and feet.
Need to get busy and vacuum in here and fix broth from the turkey wings. Going to make some cookies tomorrow and seal so they don't get stale, with just one oven, have to stagger my baking. Hubs says he doesn't like turkey, but he sure likes all the stuff that goes with it.
I would love to have oriental for Christmas, but he dosn't like it, all the rest of us do.
I sure hope that modular is sold, I told the realtor today, we have held it off the market a month now. She said we are to get the inspection report this afternoon, I told her we are not going to keep waiting. I want it sold, she said yes it was to close next week, I'm sure it won't now.

We went to Costco so DH could order new glasses and, after lunch, I worked on the book. Author called this afternoon (zero memory of my calls from 2 weeks ago) and I was able to resolve some issues I had found. I'll work on the book tomorrow after we go to the big grocery in the morning.

I needed to order coffee pods and saw they have a new flavor - peanut and sesame seed. I am a total ho for anything with sesame seeds so they sort of jumped in my cart

Just bought Peacock's Black Friday deal. Had to use a different email to do it so I'm wasting 3 days of the current subscription.
Must remember to cancel 7 day trail of Fubo tomorrow when I am ready for bed. Think I will try YouTube.
A Beatles documentary is to be released on Disney next week, so I will do a free trial if I can or get it for a month.
I had a nice long nap this afternoon. Much needed. My babies are sticking close to me today.

Just came back from the lumber yard with a post and concrete so I can replace the mailbox post. It's raining at the moment so not sure of the digging will commence today or tomorrow.
Andi have a great birthday!

Back from TJs and Sprouts where I bought the ingredients for my contributions for Thanksgiving. It really was not bad at all in the store... BUT some wet stuff was falling out of the sky. Not much mind you just a little drizzle. No nice soaking rain. I really could have used a nice 15 minute downpour or two while I was in the stores. That would have rinsed the crud of my car. But no!!! I am thinking of renaming my car Little Muddy - it is just plain gross.
