I remember the fuhrer saying the other day if dems lost we would be burning the cities down. I'm sure he wanted that to be able to put the country under marshal law.

What I am doing right now is trying to get my nerves together. I’ve been trying all day.

Mister took some ground beef out of the deep freezer before he went to work this morning and said it was for taco salad tonight. I don’t want taco salad, and will probably just order something I do want, that I might be able to eat.

I know he is following up on what he said a few days ago about us needing to cook more, well really he said “y’all need to start cooking”, meaning me and YD. And part of that is because it is too expensive to buy takeout all the time, now that YD is here too. But I am still wrestling with my stomach and I’ve been upset all day today, so today is not a good day for me to try to force myself to eat something that I already know I don’t want.

YD is not even here this evening, and idk if she’s coming back tonight. I just saw from notifications from the cameras that she left this afternoon, late enough that she obviously wasn’t going to work. 

I really just want to escape real life for a while by going to bed and hopefully to sleep. I have had that “wanting to jump out of my skin” feeling a few times today. Tonight will be a Lunesta night, in hopes my brain will STFU and let me sleep at least a little, even though that is not guaranteed even with a Lunesta.

That's interesting because here in Texas sale price can't be disclosed. Our assessing authority hires someone to drive around and look at the exterior of homes and they comb through building permits to see if you made improvements, buts that all they can do.  Can't set foot on the property or ask anyone anything.

Seems like your county would know what you paid. 

Right! They wanted to know what the asking price was as well as sale price. It was pretty in depth asking about valuable property left behind, etc. I just skimmed it, but what they don't already have is none of their business IMO. I'm ignoring until I'm threatened with a fine.

He has to know your stomach issues by now. You need bland, maybe try some salad?  He can eat taco meat for the next couple of days,  or freeze it.

Also IIRC correctly Mister has done a lot of cooking. So why change now? And looping you in with YD with ya'll?  GTFOH

The problem with that is that I absolutely HATE barfing. Not that anybody actually likes it, I just have real issues with it, whether it comes out of me or someone else. Even when my stomach is acting a fool and I constantly feel like I might, I never have. What actually happens involves constant issues with the other end and I apologize for tmi.

I asked him if YD was gone for the night. He said he wasn’t sure, she’d probably be back tonight. I said well, how about we just have taco salad tomorrow. He said he was starving so he was going to cook. I asked if he wanted something from the restaurant I am ordering food from for me, I’d buy it. He said no. So as far as I’m concerned, I did at least the minimum to make him cooking tonight a choice and not a necessity. In my mind, and maybe I am wrong, if YD does come back tonight, if she’s hungry, she could cook the taco salad stuff herself if Mister didn’t. Or she could’ve cooked it for her Dad before she left home today. But I am obviously way in left field thinking something like that is even a possibility.

You forget that he doesn’t seem to really believe that my stomach issues get as bad as they do. Idc what he does with the taco meat, I just know I’m not eating taco salad tonight.

So when I was off work at the beginning of this year, after I fractured a bone in my foot, I cooked more often than I ever have since we’ve been together. Hopping around the kitchen with a boot on my foot to cook most days of the week, was very different than coming home from work after standing on my feet all day and cooking, or cooking when I can barely stand up straight from pain and/or just feel like shit period. 

He really liked it that I was cooking so often during that time, which I get. After I went back to work, he didn’t want to go back to cooking himself most days, like he’d always done. And we were both sick and tired of all the stuff we knew how to cook, so we got into the habit of ordering takeout more than we should have. Sometimes I paid for it, sometimes he paid for it. We both knew it wasn’t ideal, but it was what we were working with at the time, to the point that we didn’t even really buy many groceries during that time.

Then when YD didn’t go back to college this fall and was here every day, takeout became a problem because adding another person was even more expensive, and right or wrong, I refused to pay for takeout for her, because her being ugly about having food delivered was the last straw that led to the big battle later that evening. She didn’t spend much time here during the summer, because of that battle, but she came here to stay when she didn’t go back to college like she was supposed to.

Since I took the new job I have mostly only used my work computer for work. And I'm doing my web browsing on a kindle. Between that and the news I'm pretty much off electronics which means I have more time at night to do what I want.it is quite freeing actually

I think I'm actually going to go to bed early tonight. Last night completely wiped me out.

Of course I'm stuck here in town waiting for the musical practice to get over with, so it probably won't be as early as I'd like. Last night we weren't home until 10 but Carrot claims they're going to get out earlier tonight... we'll see. I'm not super optimistic.
