I was feeling the same way this morning. Still not really in the mood for food. A lot of plain liquids, like tea, seem to be helping.

My family today just can't, I don't know, just can't think right now. DIL is in shock, son said we will have to learn to live like she did growing up to escape retaliation.

My heart hurts and my whole body is just tired and defeated.

So I will try moving on, but shock and despair takes time to get over.

We are spending a few weeks with our twin grandsons.  They are almost 3 years old.  Quite the rodeo.

Pulled pork tonight and we are hosting our daughter in law's family.  DH made the pork a few weeks ago and froze it, so easy meal for me.

I did bake a chocolate cherry cake which will have a pudding frosting.  A dinner party will be a nice distraction from the election.

Back from the dentist for my semi-annual cleaning. Also had x-rays done for the first time in three years and all is fine. At least something feels clean today.
