I did nothing to take care of myself today. Woke up too early, from stress. Tried to get back to sleep but the alarm went off too early, just because 4 days a week that's what it 's set to do. Had a cup of reheated coffee before I left the house. Nothing to eat for breakfast. Had a couple of fun size Snickers at work. No lunch. Worked 11 hours. Came home. Heated up a slice of pizza, had a glass of wine, and told Alexa to switch on the Christmas tree lights. Wine and Christmas lights are the high point of my day. I may head to bed soon.
But I have no real complaints, so about the best thing I did for myself today was take my vitamins and count my blessings. Things can always be better, but they can be a whole lot worse too.

Went to doc, basically we are ruling out other causes of neuropathy, I'm betting its from statins like I thought. There are tests showing 1/14000 can have a reaction like mine when everything else is ruled out.
I'm just hoping the gabapentin helps, so I'm trying to take care of myself. Docs just leave things hang and so far I seem to have excellent insurance, so far.

Hugs to everyone. Monday I had a spinach salad for lunch, exercised after work then ate a healthy dinner. Yesterday I ate the usual salad for lunch, and by 2 PM I didn't know if I am coming down with something, or just tired from the toss-turn fest overnight Monday. So I skipped the workout and made myself a hot toddy instead. Feeling better today, though I just took a Zicam and will double up on vitamin C.

Not making much progress here other than putting together a plan. A plan that starts with leaving work on time regularly. Everything in the evening is a domino effect from what time I leave.
Today will be a good start as I must leave on time. My brother is taking us out to dinner and we have a 6pm reservation.

Taking care of myself right now revolves around dad's finances.
Called his bank and my bank. My bank will send faxes for free, given the circumstances. They will be doing a lot to make my life easier.
This is why I bank local and was unhappy when they sold my mortgage.

I do miss the view Iggy aka IG In the November election, Boulder passed an open space tax that will insure the land behind my now million dollar house will never be developed. I was told that in 1986 when I bought the house for $83,000. Through the years, the family has died off and the current owner is ready to turn it over to the city. She did not want houses there. My unobstructed view of the Flatirons is still there out of the bedroom window. I can still picture it in my mind.

I bought myself tickets to see Happy Together in August. Last time I saw them, I drove 7 or 8 hours because I don't attend outdoor concerts. This one is 90 minutes away. I can handle that.
