I love the Facebook post by the PD: The Sand Springs Police Department said on Facebook: “OK 2020, it only took you 4.5 hours to get weird. Let's slow down on the carjacking-goatnapping calls for the remainder of the year.”

This really is from FL!
A Florida woman is facing a child abuse charge after she allegedly punished a 13-year-old girl by forcing her to walk naked down a road.
Rosalie Contreras, 34, was arrested Thursday evening on one count of child abuse related to the incident, which happened around 4 p.m. that day in Dade City.
...
Contreras allegedly drove the girl to a remote location, made her remove her clothes and then made the girl walk naked and barefoot down the road while she followed in her car.
When another car came driving by, deputies said, Contreras made the girl get back in the car. The suspect allegedly slapped the victim, punched her back and twisted her breasts, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
...
Police said Contreras admitted to taking the victim out to the location and claimed an unnamed person would not let her spank the girl.
...
Not that it makes it okay, but I wonder what the girl did, to receive this punishment?
And I thought my mom was strict!

Police Itching To Find Out Who Put Bed Bugs In Walmart Dressing Room
Pennsylvania authorities have been dusting a bottle for fingerprints, and employees are reviewing store surveillance video to see who might be “bugging” the store.
By David Moye 01/06/2020 03:44 PM ET
Things started getting buggy on Thursday when employees at the Edinboro Walmart found a closed pill bottle containing live bugs in a boy’s jacket being sold in the clothing department.
The bottle was thrown out in the trash, according to the Associated Press. However, a day later, a hygiene services contractor contacted by Walmart found bed bugs crawling around in the men’s fitting room.
On Saturday, another Walmart employee found another closed pill bottle with several dead bugs on the floor of the men’s department, according to ABC News.
Pennsylvania police have been dusting a bottle for fingerprints, and employees are reviewing store surveillance video to see who might be “bugging” the store.

Another YUCK! I can't imagine having them, much less, so many you can collect them in several bottles and leave them in multiple locations. Yuck, yuck, yuck!

Sounds better though than that woman who created deep fake videos of who she believed to be her daughter's rivals on the cheerleading squad.

Here ya go, kids....this one is real, and even her friends say yup, she was there: ...Michael Hahn read a statement on behalf of the family of 43-year-old Lyndsey Jane Kennedy, who was rescued Tuesday after she was reported missing earlier this month.
Kennedy said she accessed the storm drain while swimming in a canal in west Delray Beach.
According to a missing person's report filed with Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the woman disappeared from her boyfriend’s apartment on March 3.
After discussions with the woman's boyfriend and mother, the report states there was speculation the woman, with a history of mental illness and drug use, may have relapsed on drugs... Three weeks and survived on ginger ale? I wanna know what drugs those were, exactly. No food, no sleep? Naked for three weeks in the county storm drains and no one heard or noticed? I'm not exactly calling bull on this, but I have to wonder about the sanity of swimming in any of our canals to start with. Dirty, gator-infested, germy, gross, and then she decides to go exploring further?

There is a creature that runs across her lawn on two legs. I thought maybe an escaped emu? Did you see front legs? Or a leash? Was your first thought, "Oh my heck, it really is a raptor/dinosaur!"? Did you see any UFO's? Emu's are not particularly friendly, or nice. And they'll eat anything! I once saw one eat a huge black garbage bag. The size that fits a 55 gallon drum, or bigger. Swallowed it whole. I think it got really sick (intestinal blockage) after doing that. And the 16 year old kid who left the bag hanging over a fence, then got distracted, lost his job. I never told anyone I saw it happen. I wanted to keep my job. 😳

Sadly, not just in Florida but this did make the news. Florida homeowner allegedly yells, 'have him die somewhere else' during neighbor's medical emergencyA Florida lawn worker is being hailed a hero while a homeowner faced criticism for their actions during a neighbor's medical emergency, a report said. The Orland Sentinel reported that the landscaper, identified by his first name Tony, noticed a neighbor having a seizure inside a car that began to roll. He sprung into action and tried to get the car to stop, which ended up on the homeowner's lawn. The homeowner, instead of providing assistance, allegedly yelled, "have him die somewhere else." I thought I saw a pterodactyl once fly across the road on my way home. I had the good sense not to tell anyone though.

The birds build there nests high up in trees. There were adult herons flying and squawking all around the nests. It did remind my of pterodactyls.

I hope someone pays him back big time by posting a picture of his house on social media.

"A Florida woman is accused of skinny-dipping in a stranger’s pool and refused multiple requests to leave, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.
Heather A. Kennedy, 42, is facing charges of trespass in structure or conveyance and resisting an officer without violence.
The homeowner told deputies he returned home and noticed a naked stranger in his pool after spotting clothing scattered across the lanai...." Enough with the Florida Man stories. I had to throw in a Florida Woman story for a change. I mean, who just picks a random house, gets nekkid and goes for a swim? Only in the FLA.
