Woman accused of slashing another woman's corpse in 2015 was found guilty Friday.

Prosecutors say Shaynna Sims removed both breasts and a toe of her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend at a funeral home viewing.

Police arrested Sims at the dead woman's apartment. They say she stole the woman's shoes and was carrying a knife with the woman's hair still attached

When an officer asked him why he was doing that in public, the man said he was on meth, wanted to go back to prison, and said he "[expletive] hates Portland," documents say.

Medical expert testifies Florida woman didn't die during oral sex as boyfriend accused of murder says she choked on his penis

A Florida man's claims that his girlfriend choked to death on his penis during sex may not hold up in court.

According to the Sun Sentinel, a prosecution medical expert testified Thursday that it was highly unlikely Francisca Marquinez, 60, died while performing oral sex on Richard Henry Patterson. The 65-year-old was charged with second-degree murder for the October 2015 death of Marquinez.

"I don't think it's possible," associate Broward Medical Examiner Iouri Boiko told the courtroom.

Boiko, who performed the autopsy on Marquinez, said in order for the woman to have choked on her boyfriend's member she would have had no reaction to her airway being blocked for more than 30 seconds.

LAKELAND, Fla. (KTRK) --
A Florida man was arrested after sitting in the middle of a busy road and chowing down on pancakes, police said.

Kiaron Thomas, 21, told police that he set up a small TV table in the road as a prank. Investigators were first alerted on Monday morning after an unknown person called the Lakeland Police Department.


To go along with the pancakes, he had what appeared to be a bottle of syrup, bacon and scrambled eggs. Talk about a hearty breakfast.

Patterson did not testify. Instead, the defense called on Dr. Ronald Wright, a former Broward County medical examiner, who said it was possible that Marquinez could have choked during oral sex.

Padowitz told jurors that the medical examiner's autopsy report said the manner of death was undetermined.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - A South Florida man who was on trial in the 2015 choking death of his girlfriend has been found not guilty of murder.

Update to the above. Swan boy has been captured.
