The weather is really going downhill today, and supposed to reach low teens tonight. I've taken a container of chicken taco soup (homemade) out of the freezer and will have it tonight with some red lobster biscuits.

Last night grilled ham and cheese sandwich. Probably under $2.
Tonight I have a whole chicken in crock pot. I'll make mashed potatoes and a green vegetable. Probably $9-10 but we'll have leftovers.

Sloppy joes made from moose meat that was a gift. Macaroni and cheese, tossed salad.
The package of ground meat was large enough that I froze enough for nachos and sloppy joes later this week. One more day of left overs tomorrow.

I'm having another small frozen pizza. I'm cleaning my place of clutter and I got the serious munchies.

Frozen pizza Friday and the rest of it last night. I hate that I'm eating like a college kid again. Tonight will probably be one of the leftover mini meatloaves and a veg. I'm thinking I'll stop at Wal-Mart and get some Brussels sprouts if I can't find anything good/on sale at the farmer's market or Shop Rite.

I have 2 premade chicken pot pies in the freezer, one is Marie Callendar (sp) the other from the Fresh Market. I'll take the one closest to me when I open the freezer door. Will add a small romaine lettuce salad.
The Red Lobster biscuits didn't seem too appealing last night after being in the freezer. I may toss all of them out and then get rid of the mixes that are remaining in the pantry. If they don't freeze well, there is no point in keeping them around. The garlic bread from Walmart freezes well, is already seasoned & sliced and I can heat 1 slice at a time. I guess I'll stick with what works.

They are $1 each and I can eat them daily. I don't know if it's bc my taste pallet is really that terrible or bc it was the first frozen pizza I tried when we came to US..... but to this day I just love it.

Celeste pizzas are horrible. The one I got was Red Baron r cheese. I sprinkled Italian seasoning and garlic powder on it to spice it up a bit. DS didn't like that I did that and refused to eat a slice EVEN THOUGH I'VE ALWAYS DONE THAT AND HE'S EATEN IT WITH NO PROBLEM!

Baked chicken strips and some tomatoes that I had here. I'm using up what I got here before I go shopping again.

Ribs in crock pot, peas and mashed potatoes. The fridge is loaded in leftovers now. Maybe they'll get used.
ETA: I made the ribs per the Budget Bytes recipe. They turned out moist and tender. Cost was probably $12-13.

Finally done with ham meals for a while lol
Last night was buffalo wings, refried spaghetti and leftover cole slaw. ~$7
Tonight was pan fried fis, wild rice and cole slaw. ~$12
Tomorrow is going to be roast beef in the slow cooker with onions, potatoes and carrots. ~ $10 but I expect a couple of meals of leftovers.

I made my weekly roast chickens and added brown rice, steamed green beans, and kale and spinach sauteed in olive oil and garlic with grated Parmesan cheese. I baked Immaculate Baking Company crescent rolls at ODS' request.
About $40 but I have enough chicken leftover for the guys' lunches and snacks this week and leftover veggies and rice for mine.

2.5lb egg free meatloaf. Meat alone was $10, probably another $2 or so for other ingredients. Should be dinner for 4 x 2 days plus maybe a serving or so left over. So about $2 pp for the meatloaf plus a side of carrots

Jaguar, I like your f*ck it bucket avatar. Last night I made the chicken drumsticks (freezer) I posted about last week ($1.41 for 5, not 6 as I originally posted) using a simple recipe with egg wash then rolled in Parmesan cheese and spices. DH ate 3. I had leftover shredded beef from earlier in the week on top of fresh spinach with blue cheese dressing. Not too bad. We each had a small bowl of leftover cheddar beer soup as an appetizer. I decided I really don't like that stuff and won't repeat the recipe. Per a friend's suggestion, I made un-refried beans (pinto beans from the pantry) from Budget Bytes for the first time for DH. He said they were good. Tonight will be leftover LC lasagna from the freezer. If I remember, I might make mashed cauliflower (freezer .88) as a side. Tomorrow night will be "pizzas" using LC tortillas, leftover pizza sauce and pepperoni. Wed through the rest of the week, I'm not sure because I need to go monthly grocery shopping Tues or Wed night.

Said friend also made those not refried beans and put half of them in chili as whole beans last night. That was pretty yummy. That was a fairly cheap meal because I'd been given both the hamburger meat and the beans by relatives. Mom had gone out of town and forgot she had burger in the fridge to use up and my great aunt didn't know what to do with 2 lbs of pinto beans so I told her I had a way to use them up. I spent maybe $2 of my own money on the rest of the ingredients. Tonight is looking like leftovers. I have a lot of chicken pot pie from the weekend left and some chicken enchiladas too. Also, football is on tonight and I won't have a lot of kitchen clean up to do.
