I think Arya is awesome, I want her to reconnect with Nymeria and be unstoppable.  I like Tyrion Lannister too.

I am now re-watching Season 5 of Game of Thrones so as to be better prepared for April!

I've got the books ... but reading them can be challenging

I liked the books, except for the fourth(?) one where it was full of all the new characters (Dorne, etc).  It just got boring, but I made it through.

George RR Martin has said he is not done with the next one, and at this point we are very much unlikely to get to have it before the next season.  Not a real big surprise with the previous time elapse between books, but still disappointing.  I want to read the next one!

April 24 ... Game of Thrones Season Six Premiere

Brienne of Tarth has a different story in the book, and she was left with a big cliffhanger.  Really curious about what happens with her next.

I have my own little theory that each Stark child is directly tied to their direwolf.  Bran will do well, Rickon will be ok, but wild, Arya will be wandering until she's reunited with Nymeria, but is going to be strong and take charge, like her wolf, and Sansa will struggle (since Lady is dead).  Jon is going to be ok, his direwolf is called "ghost" after all...  Robb allowed his wolf to be caged by his enemies, and we know how that turned out.

I just added HBO to my tv package so I could watch it. I'm on Season 3. I'm addicted! I want Joffrey dead already!!! Who can't love Jon Snow and Tryion? Darynys (sp?) is awesome!

For the longest time, I hated Joffrey the most. Then it became a toss-up between Ramsay Bolton and Stannis Baratheon.

Also a huge Tyrion fan. Did you know that his character has been in more episodes than any other? And so well played by Peter Dinklage. He'd be an awesome dinner party guest.

Jon Snow is a cutie pie, and I love his earnestness. Seems to have natural born leadership skills ~ though you can also tell he's young and with a bit of a chip on his shoulder (understandably). I suspect he will only improve with age.

Dany Targaryen IS awesome. It's hard to learn how to adapt and rule, but I think she's giving it a great shot.

It takes me a while to figure out some of the characters names. I don't know who Ramsay Bolton is. I'm only early in Season 3 so he might not have showed up yet. The Kingslayer's hand just got cut off. I'm waiting for BF to go to work so I can watch more episodes!

Some of the names definitely take a long time to learn! Once you see Ramsay Snow/Bolton a couple times, you won't forget him. He makes his first appearance in season 3.

My problem is the opposite, he likes it too but he is behind me so when we watch together I am rewatching episodes. Which is fine, but I want to know what happens next!

OK, we have now watched all 5 seasons twice, and I'm working my way through the books....

Just 104 days, 18 hours until Season 6

Haven't seen season 5 yet, just waiting for the release on DVD, as we can't get Sky Atlantic here.
Thought season 4 was a bit slow...they just seemed to be wandering about too much.

Want to know more of the White walkers....who the heck are they?

Arya has turned into an assassin....which is awesome for a kid.
The other females are a bit manipulative apart from Daenerys who has 3 seemingly out of control dragons.
Love watching Tyrion...what a great actor.

It's really hard to watch Ramsay and Theon. I will probably end up with nightmares from Ramsay. Can I FF through those without losing anything from the other story lines?
