Almost. Got to install the complete QR form in all skins now. Should take about five minutes.
You should see a fully WYSIWYG editor and the new smileys interface in the QuickReply area shortly.

And it is done. Everybody should now have the full editor and new smileys interface in Quick Reply interface, in the Reply interface, and for their equivalents in private conversations. I will update the OP.

What do you mean ? All my smiley's are on Icey's Board in the Smiley Thread. I set them all up in a table format. There's 132 of them now that I whittled it down somewhat.
Okay I need to get a Photobucket account.
Sugi - downloading them all to Photobucket and then having to go there to retrieve them is a PITA. What I do when I find an emot I want to use that isn't on our menu, is I save the image link to a document titled Emot Links and update that document as I find them - including description after each link. That way I can retrieve the image link quickly by pulling up that document, copying the image link and pasting it into to the image link box here like you would with a picture. --->>
ETA: Here's an example of one I just found on the web:

I've moved 'Spell Checker' from 'Maybe' to 'No'. Sorry people, but with all the configuration needed on the back end, and at a minimum of $120.00/year simply to buy it, it ain't gonna happen. I recommend bookmarking the site www.jspell.com/public-spell-checker.html. You can copy-paste your post into it, check it, and copy/paste the result back into the reply box. Either that or follow Moonbeam's oft-repeated instructions on how to equip your browser with a built-in spellchecker.

Either that or follow Moonbeam's oft-repeated instructions on how to equip your browser with a built-in spellchecker. I needz spell check! And I think others do too. While I have no idea whether Moon, the Mods, and the community want to become a non-profit perhaps it is time to do so. Yes we could mark a website or constantly flip text to our clipboard and spell check and put it back ... I know if it is too annoying you just don't do it at all. I am impressed by the effort you and Moon and the supporting flock is putting into this. Spellcheck should be a standard feature. If the skeleton, BBCode this Metashell for BBs that floats a layer on top of XMHTML then perhaps this is literally a gaping hole one could drive a truck through. Spellcheck on the old V4.5 was one thing I used on almost every post including liberal use of emoticons. Now I'd told no spellcheck so my posts will be lamer and less precise. I understand neither of you are C, one of the founders of PSGCNJ who funded many things for the tech committee, you don't need to be. That being a given perhaps for your consideration there is a model out there. Right now as I type there are probably problems posting the Powerpoint slides to the website. (Note for Optimist - need to insure while we have a full set of Win7 versions, XP and Win8 versions or pointers to conversion pgms might be helpful.) rief Interlude (B dropped due to buffer bug) K(CraP! Bow Pahm. Mother of all effing*flouride%Jesus only loves canadians&* APolcolyposes. ) 1) There is this magical organization which is going from being somewhat supported by government to a full-fledged legal non-profit though the tax process is pending. Not sure if we have been assigned our designated bureacrat yet. Anyhoo, PSG is raising money and I think this community could too. Perhaps SF, PBP, and I can do it when PBP and SF buy me lunch. It will be a working lunch and if you want ............. for tax purposes or a love a Amish chicken we can charge you/Not MSN Refugees LLC/504c?/ Dragon Meets Phoenix while being scared by a feral pack of 5 ferrets or whatever it is. It can be done. You don't have to do it. However, if we create it, we make the rules.

Spellcheck IS a standard feature on most browsers. All you have to do is update your browser (that's free), or download spellcheck for IE. There are free spellcheckers out there. SPECKIE is one that works for IE versions 6 and later, and is recommended by PC World. It can be found here: Speckie

quick test on keystroke vs. clicking.... ::charmed:: ::miserable:: looks like we can't just type out the smiley names like we could before. Virgil Showlion, is this something you can tweak? please and thank you.

Chive I just did. You put it in now not with :: but with - instead so -charmed [another goes here so you can see it.
All mine were typed in.

I needz spell check! And I think others do too. Spellcheck should be a standard feature. i have said it over and over. IT IS A STANDARD FEATURE IN YOUR BROWSER. EITHER ENABLE IT THROUGH YOUR PREFERENCES IN CHROME OR FIREFOX, OR INSTALL THE IE PLUGIN. I PROVIDED INSTRUCTIONS IN SEVERAL THREADS.
those, or the website, are your options.

There is one caveat, chiver78: In visual editing mode, the smileys are supposed to be smileys, not the mnemonics. Hence the mnemonics like -wink2-, etc. will only work if you type them in BBCode mode. For the visual mode, you'll have to insert them using the menu. Although, a little bug that is actually a useful feature: If you type in a mnemonic like -wink2- in visual mode, then switch to BBCode mode, and then switch back to visual mode, it will convert the mnemonic into the actual smiley as expected. Hurtling at your head at about 100 mph, methinks.

EVERYONE just go to your freaking Browsers Tools and just enable the freaking Spell Check. There's a free download with IE one. mmhmm posted the link above in that Speckie word.

I am in the process of updating all themes so that reply numbers are visible next to the time stamps.
incidentally, for those who haven't noticed, if you mouse over one that says "posted X minutes/hrs ago", it will tell you the exact time.

Thank You Moon I wanted every post numbered. What an issue counting down posts to let someone know which post you wanted them to see.

What does it measure? How many things we've liked in the current thread?

What does it measure? How many things we've liked in the current thread? it measures the number of your posts that have been liked. I see. Two issues: 1. How is this not exactly like karma, except there's now no time limit on how much somebody can be karmalized? 2. Unfortunately, it would appear it has no security built in. For example, I was able to set Sugilite's like count to 600000 without any admin privileges at all. In fact, I could do it as a guest. I guess we'll just have to hope nobody simultaneously has programming experience and a serious jones for some 'likes'. ETA: 3. We're also apparently able to like our own posts, which hikes the count.

How did I get 900000 likes ? I'm here laughing. My fingers haven't liked that much. I've been too busy helping peeps to like 900000 posts.
