our kitten's name is Shiver, my cat who my parents refuse to give back and would kill FI with allergies is Fireblade, and the dog (his) is Koda.

LOL at the names! You all rock! ;D Taz - Me too. Unless you find Molly, Sophie, Buddy, etc. exciting. Of course! A friend of mine will be naming their daughter (expected to be born by c-section on July 5th) Sophie!

I only use their full names when they are bad. Calling them for dinner is a non issue. They lurk around the kitchen island and remind me that it's chow time.

I tell people the one thing I would change about my house is I want the ability to close myself off in the kitchen. My sweet kitty Socrates (not So-crates) can drive me bonkers whether I am fixing a meal for him or myself.

I had a Muggins (lab newfie mix) and Mohawk (barn cat) but they both died.
