Boy this month is sucky.
Oma is in the hospital with pneumonia.
Cousin D is in Intensive Care, his kidneys are shutting done. His wife, cousin A isn't in super good health either. She was present when my dad was born and they're close. She isn't ready to let him go.
And depression seems to be all around me right now.

I've not read this entire thread, so please know I'm not trying to be patronizing. I've also struggled with depression, which for me can manifest itself as anger. Are you able to focus on the good things going on in your life? Have you tried a gratefulness type of journal? That's something that works for me when I'm deep in depression. Forcing myself to stick to routines helps me also because I feel like I've accomplished something--even it's "just" the fact that I managed to make my bed and brush my teeth.

I tend to use this entire board as journal. I'm also starting to panic. My practical interview is tuesday. We have 15 days to prep the house and 2 kid parties to go to. Plus getting the floor done.

My grandmother is non responsive. They expect her pass within the week.
Tonight I have to pick up the floor stuff.
Sat. We need to grocery shop and make bread for dd to give away at church. Laundry must be done.
Sun. We do Sunday schhol, then church, the dd gets to go with her Sunday school class to paint a chalice. Sunday afternoon we have a Confirmation to attend.
Monday I have work, a dental appointment and ds has soccer from 430-530.
Tuesday is my practical interview at 915. I am not ready. I'm not sure I'll be ready by then either. They're discussing the Imposter Syndrome on the job thread and I don't think I'm being that when I say I don't feel very confident about this. I know I can do the actual job I'm going for, I'm just not confident I can pass the interview process.

Beth, do you personally have to do all that? Can you share out some of those things with DH so you get time off / time to prepare?

Some of it yes, I have to do or attend. Some of it we're splitting up. Dh said I should do the kid party on the 30th and he'll do cleaning and food prep while we're gone.
He's not Catholic so the Sunday school stuff tends to be on me. Party prep is on both of us and floor pickup is on both of us too.

Hugs Beth. I'm sure you will get through it. This spring is just rough at least I think anyway. Sorry about your grandma, that's always hard.

I dug out my bread machine and cleaned it. Gonna do a test run of bread tonight.
Got first load of laundry going and am running dishwasher.
Dug around in office and found some of my old computer books. I'm gonna skim through the sections pertinent to what I think is on the practical. They're not current but if I'm comfortable with the process in there I can translate to Windows 7 or 8. I hope. Eta waiting for parents to come so we can get flooring.

Grandma's doing tons better. She's awake, eating and talking. She even managed to use the flip phone to call one of my aunts.

Hugs. Is there room in the budget to hire someone to help you clean up for the communion?

Dick passed away. I just found out. I'm sad, both because I liked him and because I adore his wife and she's heartbroken.

And BIL is in hospital with a blood sugar over 500. When it rains, it pours. I'm sorry. Hugs ( ) and drinks ( ). But as previously asked, who's Dick? I have 3 of them and 2 are gone and I am going to assume you don't know the one living in Florida.

My Dad's cousin's husband is Dick. He's a super sweetheart and I'm going to miss him. I didn't see a lot of him but he was a really good guy.
And Audrey, dad's cousin is heartbroken. She and dad are tight.

Funeral is going to be in Antigo. I may not be able to make it, depending on the day it is. My parents will probably stay overnight for it.
Eta Antigo is 4 hours mostly north of here.

Well, I'm not moving to the person interview round. I'm bummed. Alot. But today's hitting fairly on the sucky day scale so some of the feeling may be from other stuff.
I'm carpooling with my brother to Antigo for the funeral. Maybe one sister too, she's trying to get the day off.
Sad about Chris as it's been one year today.
Concerned and heading towards panic about dd's First Communion.
And tired. I'm so bloody tired. My period is here too.
I see Liz tonight. Need to pay my late Kohls bill, order a cake for Sunday, buy stuff at home depot and put gas in my car.

Wow Beth you really have had a round of bad luck. And a funeral in Antigo this week--let us know how that goes...hopefully all will be quiet there. When my son made firs communion we were just in a new house and had food catered all went fine, when DD made first communion we were in temp housing between house 2 and #3 which we built, so we had meal at a local restaurant. Hire a cleaning crew.
