SL You watch Steven Segal movies?! <<shakes SL from her head>> kgb - I love her too! But The Way We Were frustrates me. Why would anybody allow politics to ruin a perfect love?! That's just crazy!!

Not any more --- I used to "have to" sit through Segal movies, and they became only a little less annoying over time.
I made up for it by making then-DH sit through movies I liked and he hated. For example:
When Harry Met Sally Steel Magnolias Titanic etc. etc.

You also think Kid Rock is really hot - no matter how bad and unwashed he can look. Steven Segal is actually an improvement.

DH downloaded a bunch of them from Netflix. to you Old School always grabs my attention when I'm flipping channels too ...I like old school, too... but am a bit surprised at what's considered old school nowadays... like Trading Places (a great Christmas-time movie!) is considered a "classic" now... don't get me wrong, it's classic... but it shouldn't be classic yet, you know? ...now, Cary Grant, he had great comedic timing... and Myrna Loy... and the two of them did Bachelor and the Bobbysoxer, which is hilarious... ;D

I meant the Luke Wilson movie (which I caught the end of this morning) the term 'old school' for me would apply more to TCM movies

Love that movie! I have it, will have to watch it again soon! I really like 10 Things I Hate About You, too. I really liked Julia Stiles. One of the reasons I loved Save the Last Dance. I haven't seen her do much lately...

I'll stop to watch Kill Bill Vol 1 and 2 if they are on while I am flipping. I didn't like them when I first saw them but now I am hooked.

I haven't seen either of them lately, but I would always stop to watch West Side Story or South Pacific.

I'll stop and watch Robin Hood with Errol Flynn if it is on TCM. It was my grandma's favorite movie.
Gone with the Wind was on and I stopped to watch the burning of Atlanta.
