She is just mad because she is used to getting one up on everyone else and now someone, using the same tricks she used, and following the same rules, got the one up on her. People used to getting their way, and thinking highly of themselves are seldom graceful when someone else outpaces them.
But remember, WIR's "never" take the last one. So she is still better than the other inconsiderate person.
Like any good system, once it costs more than it makes, or gets abused, it will be scaled back or shut down. I miss my Citi card that paid 5% cash back on groceries, gas, and pharmaceuticals. But guess what, they took a bath in it when nobody used the card for anything other than those categories. So down it went.
Eventually these stores will get sick and tired of policing selfish whiners who come in complaining that so and so on extreme couponing was able to buy everything on the shelf and get paid for it, or that some selfish couponer bought 2 carts worth, and they will crack down on the policies.

I guess I'm a hoarder of sorts in some things, then, although I have never cleaned out any shelves that I can remember ( except for the Amlactin lotion on sale in the Kroger pharmacy ), and I don't shop at Rite-Aid at all, but we do have sixes and sevens of some items, or more, because we bought them at a good price. We have supplies for six months in many categories, including food. We don't give duplicates away. On the other hand, we stimulate the economy, pay our bills in full, and don't worry about taking from or for others, so I don't really care if we are considered hoarders. That being said, we have storage space for everything, and our house looks nice most of the time, so I guess we're not too bad.

beachbum: The Prep-H got cleared out at my CVS too!!  Usually that doesn't happen with those types of products (odd OTCs) at my store. This was at the CVS by the beach too. Who goes to the beach and thinks, "gee I had better stock up on Prep H while we are here."?  Someone with sand in their bum? ;D |
