Moonbeam I often wish I knew where a poster was located. He may be describing real estate activity or banks etc. It would be much more helpful if we knew where he is. Country or state, maybe even city. Could this be added?

hi texas. whether or not personal location info is shared is up to each individual poster. there is a field called 'location' in everyone's profile, but most choose to leave it blank for privacy reasons.
my suggestion would be if you have a question, you could send that person a private message and they can decide what they want to share.

I like that one moonbeam... hope you are able to get it to work. I was also thinking of a smiley with a fishing pole... for those "I know you are baiting, but not gonna fall for it" acknowledgments.

you know burns? it's a damn good thing for you (and a few others) that i refuse to let my personal feelings about some people's behavior rule me, even though it's sometimes challenging. otherwise, "being a tool" would be against the CoC.

Don't know if this is the place to add a wish list or suggested item. The thread started out as 'cosmetic changes'. Anyway, I think it would be useful to have a FAQ area. Here (http://notmsnmoney.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=finance&action=display&thread=1824 ) is someone asking how best to allocate a lump sum of cash to their 7 credit card balances. This always brought out lengthy discussions on the old MSN board. There's the Dave Ramsey "snowball" camp, and then the mathematical camp. Why not have these two positions presented in a single FAQ document that can be pointed to anytime the question comes up? I can think of several other useful FAQs as well.

Sorry-bad eyes and the skin color I have for board appearance pretty much blends in with the words at the top. Maybe my changing the board skin color will help bring the words out.
