Thank You very much for centering the Status aka tagline under our avatars. Looks way better.

Yes I realized that since your skin is closer to the top of the list than mine.

Is there any way to get the screens to go from light gray to white ? I tried to find the "skins" but am unable to do so. I have no other problems with the new format at this time, but the light gray screens ( that have completed posts in the threads ) bother my eyes.
Thanks.

Thank you to Virgil (or whoever did it) to put the Emot window back to how it use to be on v4.5. No cheap generic ones that were there earlier - the window's back to how it used to be.

Is there a reason that the Emots work in the Quick Reply setting, but not the Reply setting. For an explain, see my posts on the Anonymous thread on EE ( notmsnmoney.proboards.com/thread/3345/anonymous?page=446). My first post (towards the bottom of the page) used the Reply button while my second post used the Quick Reply way. FWIW, I'm using Quick Reply for this post. FWIW, even though my first post on Anonymous does show as edited, I had "edited" the emots with a :: on each side instead of - as I wasn't sure if that fixed it. Needless to say, it didn't. ETA: The link to the thread I was referencing. ETA: It appears it also happened to muttley on this thread: notmsnmoney.proboards.com/thread/85/kid-thread-planning-pregnancy-parenting?page=822. Look towards the bottom of the thread.

taz157, the problem was with IE specifically, and I believe I've fixed it now. Let me know if the problem reoccurs.

taz157, I'm not able to reproduce the problem in Chrome 6. Are you trying to type the smiley mnemonics directly into the visual editor? Or are you using the smiley menu to insert them?

I used the smily mnemonics directly into visual editor. It looks fine there, but then I get what you see above when it actually posts.

That's actually by design, since the visual editor is technically always supposed to show you 'what you get' and if you type in smiley mnemonics, you should get smiley mnemonics back. BBCode mode is the mode where symbols (like the smiley mnemonics) stand in for actual content. That said, it would be nice to simply be able to type in -tongue- in both modes and have it show up as . That violates the WYSIWYG principle, but it's a reasonable violation. I'll add it in this evening.

I wish we had a thread where we could post all the cool positive things about v5 instead of just the bugs. For example:
1) just easily posted a double quote with an embedded link that I changed from the address to text
2) I love it that I can read a message, like what it has to say, and directly indicate that I "like" it.
3) It is wonderful how quickly we are also getting back the special little features that make our little corner of ProBoards the best board here.
Okay, maybe we don't really need a thread.

It's this button, sugi. click it, and start typing in the screen name (or user name if you know it). If you don't know a username, hover your mouse pointer over their name and you'll see a little thing pop out that says @<username>

I was attempting to quote someone's message in one thread so that I could use it in another thread. So I tried the "select post" option. I went to the thread I wanted to post it in, quoted the message I wanted to tie it to and the "select post" didn't transfer. It would be incredibly cool if that worked - even more with a link back to the thread it came from if someone wanted to go there. It is certainly not something that is done enough to make it worth putting a lot of effort into making it happen, but I just thought I would mention it in case the world is finally going to become a Billtopia.

I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight. Nope, I was still a working stiff instead of rich when I awoke.

Do we still have the 'Ignore' option/button? If so, where is it?
