Instead of karma, they have the thumb's up symbol next to the quote button. You tap the thumb's up button and the post you liked will say something like POM likes this post. The Newman's karma.

I'm finding it very difficult to go from one section of the forum to a different one. I have go back to home, which I didn't have to do before. I am guessing I will spend less time here because of the frustration of going to a different section.

Getting Page numbers at the bottom of pages would be cool, that way you don't have to scroll all the way back up t the top to change the page. You know like we had before the change. (if it has already been mentioned I apologize)

DI, the page numbers float down as you scroll. Look above the first post on your screen. The page numbers should be there.

I just noticed that, ok I feel like a dork now. LOL! Don't, hon. It took most of us a bit to notice it. Lots o' folks were griping for the numbers back at the bottom of the threads. It's just going to take a bit of time for us to find (and learn to use) all the new gadgets.

Personally, I am griping for a means to navigate to something other than just different pages on the same thread at the bottom of the page (or on the float).

hey bill.. do you see the Actions drop down up top, above the first post? if you click that, there is a way to go to previous or next threads.

I am getting used to hitting the "home" key. I just remember when you were starting the board and we had the same issue. You (or Virgil) put in the bottom tool and it was a cool addition at the time. I will let go of it soon.

it's possible that virgil will do something. i actually would rather it float like the page changer.. might put that in as a request for a v5.x upgrade.

My Wish List Request:
We used to have a post number (Reply #__) on posts within threads before. It was easy to say to someone "See post #___ above".
That's no longer here - it would be a big help when referring to a specific post if they had a post # showing.

I'd have to do a search on support to check but i'm wondering if that might have already been requested.

On the thread lists, you see page links: 1 2 3 4 5 ... 47 then you click on 47, and up pops 1 ... 43 44 45 46 47 ...imo, it would be nicer to have 2/3 links listed to act a bookends to the page links... ...that way you don't have to perform extra keystrokes to go back a few pages, which is typical for me when catching up upon my return to a thread... ...iow, instead of 1 2 3 4 5 ... 47 have 1 2 3 ... 45 46 47 ? ...that's my WISH LIST suggestion...

...didn't we have issues with this when posts got deleted later, for CoC violations and such? so what began as post #47 became post #49 much later... ?

BTDT, if you click that "..." part of the page number selector, it will pop up a box where you can put in a specific page number. I don't know that we can change it how you want it.

When a poster uses the delete post function in the new version, it erases everything to the point the post never existed.
I too would like to see reply numbers but with the new delete function, as it is right now, reply numbers may not mean much.

But thanks for suggesting it because I hadn't missed the little type in the number box and now I know how to get it.

Another "Wish" from me:
Now that the Karma emoticons have been removed from the emoticon menu, can this one be re-added? It seems to have gone missing:
---->
If it means removing one of the other small ones to do it, perhaps this one can be eliminated - it's seldom (if ever) used ---->
