Wonder how this happened if the courts are rigged by Biden? Can't wait to here conservatives on this. Anyone think the outcome for one of the Trump kids might be a little different if they were arrested when Donald was president. Think this would have gone to trial? That Trump wouldn't pardon them?. If Biden loses the election, he should pardon his son on the way out the door. Pardoning him would validate things Trump has said and provide justification for all Trump might do in his second term. |

Trump made a big donation to the DAs election fund when the DA was investigating Ivanka and Don Jr for lying to potential buyers on a condo development they had developed. This was back when Trump was just a questionable real estate developer- so we know what he would have done. From the testimony I heard, Hunter looks guilty. Biden says he respects the rule of law and won’t pardon him. Sounds good. Hunter shouldn’t get much or any jail time, though, because this charge is usually only applied when it accompanies a felony like robbery- so we’ll see what happens. |

I saw a far right posting claiming that the Deep State deliberately set it up for Hunter to get convicted in order to prove the DOJ is not corrupt - but it is corrupt, they’re just pretending. Do you think that poster is a professional or amateur troll? |

Hunter Biden was legitimately found guilty of a crime. There is no basis for him to be pardoned. The only way to be pardoned in this country is if you are found guilty of a crime. The only basis for getting a pardon is solely the whim of the pardoner (President, Governor, Sherriff). They may suggest they are following some standards but it really boils down to doing what they want. In most (all?) Jurisdictions, there is a process used to look at potential pardons. When that process is followed, a basis for granting a pardon is established. If Hunter Biden is granted a pardon, there will be no basis for it. As you state, it will be a whim. |
