Ok just want to ask take all the humanity issues out of it would armed guard towers with shoot on sight work? If not why not? If we are talking about your rotating plan, I see a problem with moving the snipers in and out. It would have to be a clandestine operation with a totally random pattern maintained for years. The transportation logistics would be incredibly complex to keep masked. Another issue would be dealing with the results when it isn't 100% effective as a deterrent, i.e. bodies. Unless the plan is to assume every kill is a good kill and just leave them to rot, they would add another layer to the complexity of the clandestine operation. I definitely see the would be in the details of the plan.

Who is collecting the victims. Are they only shot if they are already trying to go over the wall, or do we shoot them as they approach? If it is the second, are we shooting into Mexico? Mexico may not be too happy about us shooting into their country. They may decide to not cooperate with us on a number of issues; drug trafficking, terrorism, crime, migration. Not to mention that the drug cartels have tunnels. They may just decide to tunnel lower to get around the walls. All kinds of problems that snipers will not solve.

Sure. Since there is no, has never been, and will never be any legitimate reason for THEM to come to OUR country, they are not innocent. They are invaders, intent on taking over our country and destroying our way of life. It is war, and opponents during war are killed so that our side can win. See? Easy.

No. "Streamlined" means to cut out all of the time wasted by silly things like appeals. It's ridiculous to have someone on death row for decades because we can't get our sh** together. Get 'em in, get 'em out. That's the ticket!

The reason is there is the extreme like this and there is the talk about it but not doing anything about it. Kind of like what everyone thinks school shootings and that the only answer is to circumvent the 2a. We can stop illegal border crossing but the penalty is not strong enough. I'm not say shoot on site but there has to be something better than this.

We can stop wasting money on dems bullshit the wall is important not fake climate shit i believe you said that you were willing to let the courts decide this. is that still where you stand? I am willing to let the courts decide this I just don't think he is guilty. The more so the same for the document trial he def had the I just don't know to what extent he is guilty. It is easy to ready this or that but I don't think he will see any jail time. I'm good if he is found guilty. I don't want to portray wishy washy but that is how I do see it. You know benefit of doubt and all

Perhaps you forgot: ehhh this will really blow your mind to help with the border wall rotation gun towers don't have to have it all covered hence the rotation maybe a thousand or so staffed with highly skillful snipers any adult coming over gets shot on sight. If you don't come here legally then certain death. Now notice I said adult children can be rounded up and sent back probably parentless oh well. Ignoring wording issues, that is exactly what you said.

At age eight, I fell off my bike and broke my arm. Sixty-four years later I'm still here. Got hit by a car at age six too. Still here. I am 47 and fell on Saturday, while walking my dog. Nothing remarkable, just took a step wrong, slipped off a rock and down I went, scraping up my hands and knees. Not pretty, but I don't think I have dementia, just clumsy. glad you're okay! I fell awhile back, in the parking lot of an area local to the Cape Cod Canal and its trails. my leashed dogs decided to forcefully follow sniffs in opposite directions, and I got turned around. hockey training kicked in, I protected my head, and was able to tell the concerned folks in other cars that I was more embarrassed than hurt. but hey, I must have dementia as well.

Ok just want to ask take all the humanity issues out of it would armed guard towers with shoot on sight work? If not why not? If we consider the Berlin Wall as a case study, maybe we can put some numbers to this. The Berlin Wall was to keep people in, not out - but I think there may be some learnings. The Berlin Wall was 100 miles long. They had 300 watch towers, tens of thousands of land mines, machine guns on trip wire and other lethal means. In 25 years they killed 300-some odd people at the wall. 200,000-some odd people escaped anyway. And nearly 400,000 people became refugees after leaving legally. Much like the 40%of undocumented people living in the US that just overstayed their visas. It is hard to tell how many people were discouraged and didn’t even try. But the year after the wall was built had 5,000 less people cross than the year before the wall was built. I doubt there would have been 25 years of that many people, but let’s suppose they stopped 5,000 every year - they stopped 125k people. Would you consider those statistics successful? How much would you want the government to spend to get that level of containment?

How much would you want the government to spend to get that level of containment? www.newsweek.com/fact-check-did-president-trump-build-big-beautiful-border-wall-he-promised-1560942The Facts
The International Boundary and Water Commission estimates that the U.S.-Mexican border is about 1,954 miles long. The number often varies because the twisting Rio Grande River makes it difficult to get an exact length.
According to the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) website, 452 miles of border wall have been constructed as of January 5, 2021. This total is "approximate and rounded as construction activities are ongoing." Only about 80 miles of primary and secondary barriers were built in areas where there were previously no structures.
80miles over 4 years, what an accomplishment of Pres. Trump! According to the Government Accountability Office, there were 654 miles of barriers along the border in 2017. Of that, there were 345 miles of pedestrian barriers and 300 miles of anti-vehicle fencing. Most of the construction done by the Trump administration replaced outdated or aging fencing in dilapidated sections of the wall or parts that only had vehicle barriers, according to the New York Times.According to a GAO analysis issued in November, as of July 2020, the federal government had acquired 135 tracts of privately owned land but was still working to acquire 991 additional tracts, almost all of them in the Rio Grande Valley and Laredo areas in South Texas. GAO also reported that 107 miles of new border wall is planned to be built in the Rio Grande Valley, but Nicol said there is a total of 6 or 7 miles up scattered around. So Trump added 4% of wall to our border in 4 years. The "great dealmaker" did not even secure the majority of the privately owned land which is needed to complete a good portion of the wall. Trump entered the Presidency with less than half of the border being fenced, and left with less than half of the border being fenced.

www.cnn.com/interactive/2018/12/politics/border-wall-cnnphotos/The United States’ southern border with Mexico is 1,933 miles long, stretching from the Pacific Ocean to the tip of South Texas.
Some 700 of those miles have fencing in place.
Some photos are pre-Trump and some are taken during his Presidency. Interesting either way though.

Wow dot or feather! You think i'm racist oh boy. I don't have any problem with people who aren't like me this is not about migration it is not about asylum it is about breaking the law and that is exactly what they are if they are not here legally they are criminals there is no other way to look at it. You portray all peaceful and inclusive but your word do say different to people who have a different opinion of yours. In my circle we call that a today's modern liberal. I still think this is more political than anything else. Trump and his enablers are happy you bought his excuse/story. Of the four indictments, only two are federal. It's because he broke laws and tried to steal the election. That was more than just political on his part, it was criminal. I think it's possible he may only be fined because of his last elected position instead of serving the jail time he deserves. www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-indictments-details-guide-charges-trial-dates-people-case/

Too many people buy his America First slogan as truth. It is another lie, and another cover. It is not true for him and Russia considers him an asset. The latter is not a position a true America first politician would be in. www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/when-trump-is-revealed-as-an-agent-of-foreign-governments-will-america-finally-wake-up/ar-AA1gB0np?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=2959e3cbd71549cd9b2f4ee5a2e9c5d4&ei=56Shvets told the story — from his own knowledge — of how Trump and Ivana visited Moscow in 1987 and were essentially recruited or seduced by the KGB, a trip corroborated by Luke Harding in his book Collusion: Secret Meetings, Dirty Money, and How Russia Helped Donald Trump Win. Their trip was coordinated by Intourist, the Soviet travel agency that was a front for the KGB, and the Trumps’ handlers regaled Donald and Ivana with Soviet talking points, presumably about things like the horrors of NATO.
The KGB’s psychological profile of Trump had determined he was vulnerable to flattery and not much of a deep thinker, so they told him repeatedly how brilliant he was and that he should run for president in the US.
Much to the astonishment and jubilation of the KGB, Trump returned from Moscow to the US to give a Republican presidential campaign speech that fall in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
He then purchased a large ad in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Boston Globe on September 1, 1987 that questioned America’s ongoing support of Japan and NATO, both thorns in the side of the USSR and their Chinese allies.
Trump’s ad laid it on the line: ″Why are these nations not paying the United States for the human lives and billions of dollars we are losing to protect their interests? ... The world is laughing at America’s politicians as we protect ships we don’t own, carrying oil we don’t need, destined for allies who won’t help.″The bolded should sound familiar. It was packaged as America first recently when dealing with our allies etc., but it is part of the Russia over everyone strategy. A true America first politician and patriot should not be doing Russia's bidding to weaken the US and weaken alliances that keep it in check. You can tell he's a Russian asset not a Chinese one by how he speaks about those two countries.

I still think this is more political than anything else. any trial involving a politician is, to some extent, political. but the idea of complaining about politics in the judicial system kind of went out the window with Dobs, imo. that was a HIGHLY political decision. and the decision about Trump will be, too- because he attempted to overthrown an election, which is our SUPREME political event in the US. so, yes. these decisions will be somewhat political in that they were driven by politics on the part of Trump. but i suspect they will be less political than Dobs, which was a decision that 60%+ of Americans disagreed with. i might be wrong about that, but i think i will be right. we will see. not that it matters, for sake of this discussion. the alternative to the judicial system is horrendous lawlessness. i think we can both agree on that.

I still think this is more political than anything else. Trump is the one that made it political. He had good people when he was first elected tell him "you can't do that because it is illegal". Anyone that tried to stop his illegal behavior was fired. Tell me how any POTUS can sit there for 3 hours and watch Congress and the police struggle with his mob and not call them off is not the one making it political. Again, watching the mob try and overturn an election and the only tweet was one about his VP to incite them even more. He is daring the US to hold him accountable. Trying to wrap my head around his mob that is perfectly happy to shoot innocents at the border and don't think he is guilty of anything. Help me out!
