True - but Christie can throw out comments that will make Trump blurt out on specific topics. If Trump looks like he is getting traction on something, Christie can change the subject and Trump has to start blurting on something else. His message won’t be primed and his believers have to start over on how to defend the latest stupid thing he said. It is exhausting for Trump and his voters. There is a reason he won on two different three word chants. Simple to remember, simple to repeat and burrows into people’s brains. They need to keep him on his toes to truly encapsulate how incompetent he is.

Remember how the Movementarians had to change their chant from “The leader is good, the leader is great. We surrender our will as of this date.” to the Batman theme (replacing “Batman” with “Leader”) because Homer was too stupid to remember such a long chant.

saw a Reddit post where a woman took her 3 - 4 year old daughter to a natural history museum and had her pose in front of the dinosaur exhibits giving them the finger. 

Said that the next day they were going to go find an Athiest Church (I assume to similarly taunt them). 

My idea of what it means to be a Christian is apparently not the MAGA version - I guess swearing wouldn’t bother them.

They aren't Christians. They are people that go to faux Christian churches who apparently spend most of their time looking down on others and pretending they are good people.

Mine always has been. I was left alone spiritually growing up with no proper indoctrination into the Christian religion. I was able to just observe my family spritzing in it when grandparent came to town. Never have been impressed with it on any level.

i don't think it is convoluted at all.  i just think it is wrong.

the PRA does NOT allow a president to retain non-personal records.  the only way to get this "idea" to work is to claim that ALL of the records he retained were PERSONAL.  it is not just difficult, it is IMPOSSIBLE for him to claim that about classified documents.  this is WHY they are important in this case.  even if they are "declassified", they are not "personal" by the standards of the PRA.  so, he is fucked on all of that, and probably much of the OTHER records he retained. 

he keeps repeating this bogus claim from a NON-LAWYER.  it is not going to hold up in court, because the PRA actually REQUIRES him to surrender the documents he claims it allows him to retain.

Reacting to Donald Trump's request to be able to review top secret documents related to his federal indictment in a non-secure environment, former U.S. Attorney Joyce Vance claimed it should be a non-starter for U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida Judge Aileen Cannon who is likely aware it yet another stalling tactic.

Writing on her Substack platform, Vance pointed to a motion made by special counsel Jack Smith to make sure the documents are protected from prying eyes up to and during the former president's trial in a Florida courtroom and pointed out that Cannon has been trying to get Trump's lawyers and the Department of Justice to reach a compromise.

As she explained, Trump doesn't want the inconvenience of having to revisit the documents that are central to his now 40-count indictment in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) by complaining it will interfere with his 2024 GOP presidential nomination campaign.

As she wrote, "He wants to be able to see it in the comfort of his own home. Trump still doesn’t get he’s not going to receive special treatment, unless Judge Aileen Cannon gives it to him. If she does on this point, look for Jack Smith to appeal immediately and win. Trump’s request flies in the face of clearly established law on handling classified documents—not exactly a shocker given the nature of this prosecution."
