Tina Brown argues in her biography of Diana, The Diana Chronicles, that intercepting such calls in the 1980s wasn’t all that difficult, and Charles just suffered from bad luck. “From analysis of the radio signals embedded in the Charles-Camilla tape, there is little doubt that it was genuinely recorded off-air.”

I have yet to watch a single episode of the Crown, so I am less "current" than those who are watching it

We did this in theatre in HS because the girls' bathroom was all the way down the hall and not many of us could sprint fast enough to be back for our cues.  So the boys got the urinal and we used the stall.  Everyone knew to yell they were coming in before entering.

Somehow we all grew up to be functional adults.  However quite a few of us were gay or bi.  Was it because we were in theatre or because we shared a bathroom?  Potato, potahto.

If someone wants to harm me they are going to do it and they do it now.  There was that one dude that hid himself in the bottom of a porta potty.  Someone wants to be gross bad enough life will find a way.  Those sign on the door do absolutely nothing to protect me.

I don't care if someone is in there to do their business.  Just please for the love of God clean up after yourself.  Women are disgusting.  If you leave it as clean/cleaner than it was before you came in welcome!

just because a person doesn't like anarcho-capitalism/feudalism/fascism does not make them a socialist.  but i would also add that socialism doesn't carry nearly the stigma that it once did.  and for good reason.  capitalism is failing to deliver the goods to the majority.  if you don't believe it, you really should do some reading.

I don't know what's going on at the other democratic rallies that he's tagging along on, but at the WI one not far from me there were massive traffic jams and crowds for Harris and Walz and Vance had like 50 people...mostly reporters... in a warehouse.  I'm sure if it would have been Trump it would have been a lot crazier, but they're definitely not turning out to see just Vance.

I know. Like any show or movie that follows historical events certain things are fudged or outright changed for various reasons. I haven't really thought much about Diana, Charles and all that since the infamous Oprah interview with Prince Harry.

I think this is the same speech where he insisted he’s had the biggest crowds ever, bigger even than the crowd that came to see MLK in Washington, and he had 1000,000. Trump insists his crowd was even bigger by at least 25,000. 

I think he was talking about the crowd for his inauguration. Still smarting that photos showed the Inauguration Day crowd for Obama for his first term showed the turn out for Obama was significantly larger.  

Never gets over a grudge, and absolutely losing his mind.

Something just dawned on me.  During the January 6th insurrection on the U.S. Capitol building, trump was urging Pence to "do the right thing" and not certify the Electoral College results as they met in Congress and claim Biden as President.

Should, God forbid, trump win the 2024 presidential election, who is going to be in charge of certifying the Electoral College results in Congress?  Kamala Harris.  Harris should over rule the Electoral College results as trump felt it was the right thing to do when Pence was in charge of the results in 2021.  Not that Harris will though.

The black guy wasn't even black. Turns out the helicopter ride was with JERRY Brown not Willie Brown. It was while flying over the wildfires where Fopa advised CA to "sweep" the forest. Newsom was also on that flight and both he and Brown have said there never was any danger of crashing but Fopa kept talking about "what if". 
So not only was there no near crash - he didn't even remember who was with him

Yes, the problem is entirely with the people running the campaign.

Couldn’t be that the candidate told a weird story about being in helicopter accident with a black guy who told him how horrible Harris is - and not any part of that ramble is true, or even true-adjacent if you squint your eyes.

Typical MAGA's!  Blame someone else for Trump's actions.  

I hope JD is ready for what comes his way if they fail to win.  My first thoughts when he accepted the VP position was he is awfully young to ruin his career by hooking up with Trump.

There is a lot to suggest that he is not really in control of his life. I think he has been groomed to fill this particular role at this particular time.
