'Damn you!' Morning Joe nails Newt Gingrich and other Trump 'freaks' inciting violence over Mar-A-Lago searchMSNBC's Joe Scarborough said the Mar-A-Lago search revealed the Republican Party was opposed to law and order, and he singled out Newt Gingrich for special scorn. The GOP has circled its wagons around Donald Trump after federal agents removed around a dozen boxes of presidential documents that investigators say had been improperly removed from the White House, and the "Morning Joe" host blasted conservatives for inciting violence against law enforcement officials. "Some of the same people are making dark, ominous threats, now comparing the FBI to Stalin, now suggesting that this is a banana republic, now saying we have to go to war against the FBI," Scarborough said. "These people hate law and order. I thought they were the party of law and order. They don't believe in the rule of law when it applies to the most powerful, I guess." Gingrich, the former GOP House speaker, joined other conservatives suggesting the FBI planted evidence at Mar-A-Lago and compared them to wolves, and Scarborough called him out. "Newt Gingrich, damn you," he said. "You know better ... you are taking another cheap shot at law enforcement officers when they don't serve your interest, in saying we'd be better off to think of the FBI as wolves? Wolves who want to eat you? Wolves who want to dominate you? You say the FBI has, quote, 'declared war on the American people?'" Scarborough said the same people inciting violence against the FBI had incited violence ahead of Jan. 6, only to turn around and panic once the riot began. "You have all of these freaks, fools, insurrectionists, and people who were causing violence in America, these people who hate law enforcement, these people who were declaring war against the FBI, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, because it doesn't serve their political purposes for the moment," Scarborough said. "They're declaring war and calling -- Newt, you're calling Christopher Wray a wolf who wants to eat the American -- what's wrong with you? What's wrong with you? What a freak you are." 'Damn you!' Morning Joe nails Newt Gingrich and other Trump 'freaks' inciting violence over Mar-A-Lago search

The Lincoln Project sure knows where to send the arrows where they’ll hurt the most. Wouldn’t you like to be hearing the tantrums he’s throwing now?

National Archives 3: Trump 0. Trump baselessly bashed Obama for transferring records from the White House to Chicago. Here's why Obama was allowed while Trump is under scrutiny by the FBI.Former President Donald Trump is no longer satisfied with solely talking about Hillary Clinton's emails when it comes to deflecting potential allegations he mishandled classified documents. Now, the former president and his allies are clinging to completely unrelated claims about former President Barack Obama. Earlier this week, the FBI executed an unprecedented search warrant on Trump's Mar-a-Lago home in Palm Beach, Florida. It's unclear what the FBI was looking for, but several reports linked the search warrant to the National Archives' request early this year for the Justice Department to investigate whether Trump broke the law when he took classified government records with him to Mar-a-Lago. In the days following the raid, Trump and his allies on Fox News delivered the whataboutism defense of Obama transferring records from the White House to Chicago for his presidential library. "What happened to the 30 million pages of documents taken from the White House to Chicago by Barack Hussein Obama? He refused to give them back!" Trump wrote in a Thursday post on Truth Social. "What is going on? This act was strongly at odds with NARA. Will they be breaking into Obama's 'mansion' in Martha's Vineyard?" The former president and his son Donald Trump Jr. cited an opinion piece published by The New York Post in support of their baseless accusations. But the facts don't quite align with Trump's statementsTens of thousands of Obama's documents were transported to Chicago. But these items were shipped to a federal government facility – exactly the thing that is supposed to happen with a president's records. Federal law requires that presidents and their administrations keep a detailed collection of emails, documents, and even gifts from their time in office since all of those things are actually the property of the American people. In Obama's case, the National Archives took legal ownership of Obama's documents and then began the long process of sorting through the material before the public could request it years later. Some of this material was then turned over to Obama's presidential library, which, again, is the process that is supposed to happen. Apart from the long processes, Obama's presidential library will break from the precedent in that the Obama Foundation will pay for the unclassified records to be digitized in a bid to democratize access to the documents, in what is billed to be the "first digital archives for the first digital president," according to The New York Times. Trump and Trump Jr. also drew on a line from The New York Post column noting that, to date, the records transferred to Obama's presidential library have yet to digitize the materials and make them available to the public — five years since the end of his term and when the record transfer began. Though the delay has sparked some ire from historians and critics, the process of transferring the records themselves often take years, not to mention the task of digitizing roughly 30 million documents to be made available online. Trump's lawyer, on the other hand, said the feds took at least a dozen boxes containing sensitive — and some "top secret" — material from the former president's Mar-a-Lago home, according to The Washington Post. The FBI's search warrant was aimed at seeing if Trump had taken documents home with him that should have been turned over at the end of his term, per reports. Though Trump world can draw similarities between Trump and Obama both taking records from the White House, the significant difference in how they took the documents explains why the former remains under scrutiny by the FBI and the latter is still in the process of setting up a library unbothered by federal law enforcement. So what do we think of the theory that someone very close to Trump told the FBI where all the secret stuff was hidden?
And if there is a rat, who is it?

Bwahaha! 🤣🤣🤣 Do they ever? Since when has that been an issue (for him/them)?
Sorry. My intention is not to get on you, at all. That just strikes me as funny. Maybe I shouldn't comment anymore. I don't want to get in trouble, or to cause trouble. Where's my zipper?

Trump won't unseal the warrant because of "decorum?" Seriously, Ms. Robb? Donald Trump has never in his entire life been concerned with decorum. Try again. link

I feel bad for the FBI, but not for this guy. Trump and his supporters in office are all gas lighting their followers for likes and elections. These are the same deluded souls who thought it was fine for law enforcement to go to Hillary's home and take her server. If they had any real moral ground, they would be OK with the FBI retrieving boxes looking for classified info. They are the party of Us versus Them. They believe anything they do must be OK simply because they do it and anything others do must be wrong because it is others. At least the gene pool is down one gullible idiot. However, I am concerned for the safety of the FBI and all those doing the right thing. If Trump whines 'witch hunt' you know it has a legit legal basis. If you are sane and not feeding on the gaslight pap from Trump and crew.

Apparently the far right is melting down because Hunter.
Not only hasn’t the FBI raided Hunter, he hopped on Air Force1 to fly with his dad to Kiawah island to a private golf course for a vacation and the MAGA people think Biden should be in DC following this outrageous attack on MAL.
To which I say - maybe Hunter complied with all the government document requests so they didn’t need to raid his house. Trump was asked to return everything, then subpoenaed to return everything, and still acted like he was above the law.
So the archive librarians sent someone to get their shit back.

So Trump said they can release the Subpoena but does he actually have to sign off on it? If he doesn't sign off does it automatically get released. I figure it would be just like him to say publicly that they can release it, but not actually give permission in writing just so he can call them liars.

I'm finding it hard to work out what this is actually about. Someone on TV mentioned something about some fake nuclear letters? Who knows. I dont suppose the FBI is going to have a press conference

Says the guy who had seventeen or so women accused him of sexual harassment. (Article below video.) Trump slams Lincoln Project 'sickos' after FBI 'raid' ad runs during Fox NewsOn Thursday, former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to rage against the Lincoln Project, and take a swipe at Fox News for airing one of their ads. "Why does Fox put them on?" Trump wrote. "The perverts of the Lincoln Project were 'run out of town' after it was learned that they did some really 'bad stuff.' Perversion anyone? Now they have re-emerged with a different but similar name. Keep these sicko’s off television!" The Lincoln Project is a group of former Republican strategists who turned against the GOP after Trump became president, and became notorious for running advertisements designed specifically to needle him. Trump's description of the Lincoln Project as "perverts" and "sickos" is presumably a reference to a scandal in which one of the group's co-founders, John Weaver, was implicated in sexual harassment. The former president's outburst on social media comes as he faces an investigation by the FBI into improperly removed classified documents, that took a new step on Monday with a search warrant executed at his Mar-a-Lago country club in Palm Beach, Florida — the subject of the Lincoln Project's latest ad. Trump responded to that action with yet another tirade, baselessly accusing the FBI of political targeting — although he refused to release the warrant to the public clarifying what items the FBI was authorized to search for. Attorney General Merrick Garland signaled on Thursday the DOJ will move to make the warrant public itself. Trump slams Lincoln Project 'sickos' after FBI 'raid' ad runs during Fox News
