Pink Cashmere  As others have said, this is not what I wished for you.  However, I feel it can put you on the path to peace and a better future.  For a long time, it's felt as if you were huffing and puffing to blow up an inflatable lifeboat while Mister was letting the air out at the same time and that's not workable.

I think the FDA has concerns and is beginning to look into it. They are getting away with what I would describe as mass level compounding because these drugs are on the FDA's shortage list. I think I heard FDA is considering removing Wegovy from the shortage list.

I have no doubts that these drugs are very helpful to certain people. I do worry about these compounded versions that are seemingly sold at every spa and on multiple websites/apps.

These med spas certainly have an interesting business model.  They sell you semaglutide so you lose weight and then, when your face and backside sag due to fat loss, they sell you fillers and a butt lift.  The famed Ozempic face and Ozempic butt are real but I doubt these spas go into much detail on potential side effects.

I was in Paris when John Paul was there for youth pilgrimage . Saw him in popemobile. I was at a meeting and went to lunch at a cafe and youth groups with banners and singers passed me for about 3 hours going to a field outside Paris . Still passing when I left. Very imspiring. He was an impressive and holy person
Went on a trip to Italy with a Deaf group. There was a papal audience for Deaf from all over the world. This German Pope gave a speech of course but with only a very brief greeting to these mostly poor and disabled people who were so thrilled and had difficulties to be there. The interpreters using many different sign languages were impressive indeed. But I felt he was not a kind person like his predecessor

True, but I don't know that it helps. The tough thing for me is Mister and his family have been using Pink as a scapegoat instead of addressing their very dysfunctional ways. 

But that is no longer her issue.  She is a caring person without a reason to care any more.  Generally, the reason one frets so much about the present is because they are trying to salvage the future.  There is no future left to save, so no longer a reason to worry about these little indignities.  It is similar to a work situation in this way:  Stress disappears once you realize you don't have to be there any more.  Once you know you are able to retire, or if you have enough of what they call "FU money", you can ignore much of what has been making you miserable.  The solution is literally at the door.  With the realization that the relationship cannot be salvaged, she can now put herself and her own physical, mental, and emotional health first.  Do the minimum required until she can leave?  Yeah, no problem.

I'm not enjoying this trip back over the mountains. This is a weird storm. The worst we've been in so far started at the point where it would normally get better.

I need new windshield wipers. I ordered them before Thanksgiving. They haven't arrived and I can't request my refund until Monday. The post office lost them in Ohio and they haven't been scanned since.

I ordered them because Mazda put some stupid connecter on these not the normal J hook most others use. The last time DH tried to buy at Advance he bought 3 different sets that supposedly fit and all we ended up with was a stash of wipers for his car.

I should have ordered those Bosch ones from Amazon Europe they would have been here by now. I didn't because of the delivery time but had I known, clearing customs would have been faster than this!

It will be interesting to see how quickly your GI health improves once you are out of that house.

I have so much on my plate today that it was getting overwhelming. I just prioritized and jumped on it. I'll get as far as I get, and that will just have to be good enough. Next week will be busy at work also, but then I'm off at noon on Christmas Eve and the rest of the week. For the first time ever, I will be losing annual leave. Ninety hours. However, I would have used it for the flood but the governor gave us 160 hours of administrative leave that I did use. Sigh. Off to assemble lasagna pans, one for the freezer and one for a friend. By then it should be warm enough to go work outside for a few hours.

I slept well despite extremely weird and unpleasant dreams. I apologized to DH if I had accidentally whacked him during the night (I didn't) because in one dream my mother was digging her fingers into my arm quite painfully and I lashed out in the dream.  

After breakfast I mopped the floors and cleaned the kitchen.  I've been giving the kitchen what my mother called "a lick and a promise" for the last week and it was pretty ugly, so it was time to bring out the big guns and deep clean things.  Especially after I seared meat last night and spilled oil on the stovetop

I'm sorry. Can you possibly rent an apartment for a year or two until you get a plan together? How much is left on your house? If you've owned it for a while, maybe a no cash out refinance to lower that obligation. You can charge your mom the same amount of rent and have a little more in your pocket every month.

I knew that compounding pharmacies can't manufacture. They are expoiting the loophole of the FDA shortage list. Apparently if a drug is on this list, compounding pharmacies can make it outside of their usual rules.

We have finally hit dry pavement and run out of the storm with a hour to go. I am over winter already and we still have 3 months of basketball season left.

Idk. I am SO overwhelmed. So one step at a time right now. First step is to deal with my vehicles. Step 1.a is to take my Jeep to Autozone Tuesday to try to find out why the check engine light is on, and go from there with the Jeep.

It had just started sleeting when I left home and I was out of it about 1/4 of the way to the airport.

That's what I remember also.  He bought (paid for) the Jeep because she wanted it, but had it titled in his name alone.

About to quickly push things together in the living room before DD comes over to help decorate the tree. Then we're going to get Chinese food. We ate at the Chinese place on Friday and really enjoyed a dish that DH wants to get again.

Also, today: write cards and wrap presents. Maybe tonight, or maybe tomorrow. I woke at 3:00 with a headache that has only just started to dissolve.

You remember correctly. He bought the Jeep for me, because I wanted it, but it is in his name. He has agreed to sign the title over to me. 

Because I don’t trust him, and the title is in his name at this time, I will do the easy part to try to see what the code is. He’s gonna have to handle the repair. Once I have the title, I will take full responsibility for it.

In hindsight I made so many mistakes, but I try not to get too upset with myself about it, because I was acting in good faith because I was naive.

I’m not going into details, but it is in his best interests to at least be fair with me right now and he understands exactly why.
