My husband the cat hater, LOL! He was talking about them just now. We were trying to decide if we bring them here tonight or the other house. I need to clean here tomorrow for the showing Tuesday. But hubs said you know if we take them over there, they may feel we abandoned them.  Maybe we need to have them here with us tonight.  He said it was Smoke that jumped out of the truck while he was fueling and went under an RV beside him. He said he went to the other side and called him and he came to him so he could pick him up. Said it was a good thing it wasn't Tigger, I thought it was, because he thinks its a big game to run from us. He said now, he just tells him no, and he doesn't try to get out. I think they have been company for him. And Smoke is curling up beside him on the console, so he has made friends with my critters. I'm glad they like him, makes it much easier for him to like them too.

He is about 3 hours out he said. I will sure be happy to see him and I need his help once he gets some rest.

We just realized the company that did our heat pump here also is a roofing company so we are getting an estimate for both from them. I'm calling tomorrow. We will need the reduced cost for heating from the heat pump this winter anyway and hubs said maybe we can get a discount by getting both done. With being sick, I just can't stand getting hot over there. And though we may not need AC a bunch this year we will next.

I got so frustrated over there I quit. I told hubs, I cleaned 3 panes of glass on a window and half the blind and had to change the water, it was filthy. And on top of it, I cleaned the windows with water, ammonia, and vinegar and they are streaked after I stood back and looked at them. I got so dam frustrated I just quit and came home. I did water the plants again and also the grass, I don't want everything to die.

I was mopping our bathroom floor and looked at the tile so wiped it down and pretty dirty. I'm betting they didn't clean it after having it put in. Hubs said he bets everything needs washed down. I told him it didn't look that dirty but apparently is.  At least I got all the flooring clean.  I'm sure with no AC and the windows open it just blows in.

We are going to have to get some new blinds, 3 windows are missing them and a 4th has a plastic piece broken in them. I think the ones in the kitchen and living area are ok. They are the real wide ones and they have them mounted half way up the window, I really like that.


We will check the sprinkler system out, they said they turned it off. I will have hubs check the meter and see if its still turning. I don't like the fact a lot of the heads are right up against the foundation of the house either. For this year we aren't using it and will make sure the thing is off. Thanks for the heads up Stew.

I also found our park manager here has had COVID, she suffered for 12 days. She had the same symptoms I did with the sweats and chills, neither of us had anything like that before. She said several out here are sick. I just wish I could get over the weakness as I need to do so much and just can't. It's very frustrating. At least we have this place to be comfortable and cool in or we would be totally miserable.

I need to start making iced tea again and lemonade would be good too, something besides sodas. And need to find some other things to drink. What will help is the water at the new place really tasted good, so that will help.

I'm so tired with no more than I did today,  may take a nap. I will be thrilled to see hubs and my kitties. I love and miss them all. Don't know how I did it for 15 years with hubs gone. That was hard. But I had so much work to do guess that kept me occupied.

Son called to see if we are feeling better. I told him some but still very tired. He said he sure enjoyed himself motor cycle riding. He sounded really relaxed for a change.

I always try to make sure ours is spotless when we move. Oh well, in time I will get it done, just bad situation this time that can't be helped.

As regards the sprinkler system, there’s “turned off” at the controller (should be a controller box on a wall, maybe in garage?). That mean the electronic controller tells the sprinkler not to spray water at timed intervals. But that DOESN’T mean water is turned off to the system. If you see water leaking, the main water control valve is still on even if the sprinkler heads aren’t active. And having sprinkler heads near your foundation is actually a good thing in that it keeps the soil moist and stable during dry spells so you don’t have issues. We have sprinklers on one side of our house with zero landscaping just to keep the foundation watered and stable

It might, but it could just be that the seller doesn't have the money to fix anything even if it's a reasonable and affordable fix.

The kitties have roamed all over looking around  and drank a lot of water. They aren't eating much yet. Smoke has been beside me a couple of times then off again. Hubs said they were rubbing all over him in the truck but now he is home want nothing to do with him now. LOL! He couldn't wait to get a shower and something to eat. He was in bed little past 9. He said he probably isn't going to do much tomorrow, I told him not to do anything just est and lay around. I need to clean for the showing Tuesday and we will take the kitties to the other house and then bring them back afterwards.

Hope we sell it but to be seen. It would be great if we could this quickly, but not getting my hopes up.

About ready for bed, its 11 and I need to go to sleep very soon, think I will have another snack before I do.

I watched a show, it was just ok.

I'm up because my body is yelling at me I barely made the minimum of hydration somewhere around 40 to 47 ounces. Some of it Zevia soda, but so far only about 14 ounces. Black Cherry and now some Gingerale for my stomach.

Good morning, thirst-quenching invisipeeps, comparing water and other beverages for health. Welcome to Monday. I hope your day presents only solvable problems, a great braekfast and no junk mail.

Today some of the things I ordered for our next shows begin arriving, including over 70 prints, framer's tape and some wood crates to hold matted prints for people to leaf through. The mats, precut, should arrive beginning tomorrow.

Yesterday I spent a few hours culling photos and reworking our website, then exhaustively cleaned the refrigerator. Then DH and I shared a banana split after walking Franklin the Dog at the beach.

I would. Your agent can call before the showing too to ask for inspection reports and why previous deals haven't gone through. If you find out it's sitting on a hell mouth mouth skip it, but if not go check it out.

oh, I feel like I'm going to be deleting a few people from my FB world coming up. esp as I step back from music cruising as much as I have been, in favor of other adventures. if I'm not seeing these folks periodically like I have been, I have no need to keep them on my radar at all as we aren't local to each other.

chiver78, before you delete him have some fun. Colbert and his writing team addressed this. He had a bit where he showed Trump and Biden sleeping their way to the top, actually sleeping while President. So if you find the clip on YouTube hopefully you can post it. (I'm not currently on FB, so I have no idea what can and cannot be done in specific)

Also a nice graphic of Trump's three wives and how Melania's looks did play a part in his only election to President.

I have to get ready for the guy to come tomorrow afternoon to move furniture in my bedroom in preparation for the water damage on the ceiling to be fixed.  

He asked if he needed to bring equipment.  I sent him pictures.  I'm going to take the clothes out of the dresser.  He does not need equipment.  Twenty years ago, I could have moved the dresser with no clothes in it, even if it meant taking drawers out.  Can no longer do that.

oh, this wasn't a bot. in the interest of not writing a novel earlier, I left out how I know this guy. he's an acquaintance via the music cruises, I'm actually friends with his ex-GF/daughter's mother. this past weekend was the kid's 10th birthday, and both parents threw parties for her with pics all over the place. and then he closes out last night sharing that garbage? I just couldn't keep my mouth shut. whatever your politics, you have a *daughter* and you think it's a good example to be showing her that this sort of garbage is okay? no, sir.

he got a   for his shame on you comment from the wife of a couple that's annoyed me for some time now. but, since they are basically kissing the asses of the company that does the cruises, I haven't deleted them just to keep the peace. they will not be making the cut once I start cleaning house, either.
