Going to transfer Xfinity, then DD and I will move to the other place. Like hubs said you can do a bit and sit down. We will do that.
Right now I am shaking, likely my essential tremor issue.
You know I have told docs for 10 years I have pain under my left rib and in that upper side rib area. They x-rayed and all kinds of stuff and found nothing. I have that pain a lot and mention it every so often, but they ignore it. Right now its killing me. One day will likely be something like cancer. They act like I'm making it up. Oh well, its time for me to fix her soup and maybe make up her bed and bathe, that's it. I'm some better but still not there and I'm tired, hope I don't do the sweats all night tonight.

Pink - I'm def not the best cook but I do what you did and out myself and pivot to plan b. He's calling it "chili mac" but dd15 tasted pesto in it which he confirmed. Weird! He claims it's delicious and he's eating it the rest of the week.

Mister is trying again to get some sleep before he goes to work tonight. He didn’t warn me this time, I just noticed that the door to the bedroom he sleeps in sometimes was closed, and both dogs were missing. The dogs sleep on the bed with him when he is in that bedroom.
So I was cooking something for me to have for dinner and for Mister to have something to eat before he goes to work, and Boy popped up in the kitchen. Idk how he got out the bedroom where Mister is, but when I went back there, the door to the bedroom was open.
Boy eventually went back there again and got on the bed where Mister is. I didn’t close the door all the way, in case Boy needs to come investigate things again, so he can get out of the bedroom on his own, without disturbing Mister.
I am pretty much done for today, and will be heading to bed myself soon.

DH proudly texted that dinner would be ready when I got home from taking bonus teen to therapy. Got home to find that he'd taken the leftover taco meat, beans and corns that no one was eating for the last 3 days...and added tomato chunks, two more kinds of beans and overcooked elbow noodles. It's so gross that I can't even ask the kids to eat it. Meanwhile I spent almost an hour cleaning out the fridge and freezer today bc we had so many different things open and leftover. Threw away a terrible amount of spoiled or close to spoiled food. I wish he would clean out the fridge to realize how much we waste bc he tends to ignore leftovers and also opens new packages (of things like cheese) and never closes the completely. Not a great way to end the day. Is your husband high?

You and the girls don’t have to eat something nasty, just because he threw some random leftover shit together and said it was a meal.

I hope someone here can understand my excitement. I have had a difficult time finding the records of my parents' marriage because AI totally messed up the spelling. I had to go through frame by frame to find their license. I refused to believe they lied all of these years. I have the pictures taken that day and the date the pictures were developed is on the edge of the photo. Today, a newspaper popped up on Ancestry for the newspaper where my parents were married and has their marriage license in it. I'm guessing my neighbors heard my happiness if they were home. I was so excited to see that. I just emailed it to my sister. She doesn't get my excitement on any of this and will probably say they were married and we knew that. Well, one of my mom's brother's lied to their family for 50 years about their wedding date because they got married later than they said when they found out the wife was pregnant. They wanted to celebrate their 50th on the right date so the confessed to their children. It was definitely a possibility that we had been lied to.

And I would be offended if that was what somebody got out of my posts here and asked me, when there is no reason to believe my SO is on drugs or doing anything to get high. Is that just a way of asking if he is “crazy” or something? Idk. But I’m not even azucena and that question would bother me.

Pink, with this specific poster, based on her posts over time, it is more a matter of her life experiences and not meant to insult IMO.

Looks like my COVID test is positive. We escaped it all these years and now i have it. So do I go to minor Emergency or what for meds? Thankfully I was not around many and will stay away from people. I wonder if I should take it again just to be sure. I bet I've had it for awhile now, so hard telling how many people I have come into contact with. Back home they get out and do nothing so likely picked it up right there.
I hear the pitter patter of little feet on the roof. A crow, squirrel or what?

Call your doctor if you have one to get prescription for paxlovid. Or call an urgent care Be sure to test your DD and get the paxlovid you probably got it on the plane. We’ve had probably 6 vaccine and boosters but Jerseyguy still got Covid The new strain is very transmissible Be careful and don’t overdo you will make yourself more sick Hoping you recover soon!

Here you can go to urgent care, or actually some pharmacists can prescribe if you don't have a PCP. I'm not actually sure exactly how that works, but I've seen it advertised.

I caught Covid for the first time ever this year, and it really helped get me through my worst day. And yes, your DD should be tested too.

So, I stepped on a scale for the first time in over a year yesterday and now I'm in a panic. I'm trying to decide if I try (again) to deal with this on my own or head to the doctor. At the very least I'd like to get a medically necessary form to use HSA funds for a diet plan or personal trainer, but I seriously need to do something. I walked the lake with Carrot yesterday and my heart rate was 165 and I was dripping sweat when we were done (it's only 3.7 miles!) Paid $30 for another app this morning that will probably end up just being a waste of money. What do you like to do? Figure that out and do it. If it's bike riding, take a spin class. Like to dance? Find a dance class. Whatever you would like to spend time doing, find a way to exercise doing it. Look at your diet and see what can be cut out or substituted for something healthier. We can always help with substitutions too if needed. Well, I used to bike and hike a lot, but it's been quite a few years. Except for yard work and taking care of the animals, I've been a slug for quite a while.
I got all the info from work on discounts for the Y membership, but I'm not sure I should jump in and do that as it's still almost $600/year for a family membership and I don't know if I'd ever actually use it. They have personal trainers and the difference in cost between the member rate and non-member is practically nothing. Like $15 difference for 20 sessions.
I started fasting again. I did it for awhile but was sloppy about it. I just was talking to a woman that lost 176 pounds in one year doing that and she's convincing me to give it another shot.

Do you have room in your house for an exercise room, minnesotapaintlady? If you would use it, get yourself an elliptical, or a treadmill, or something that you would actually use and enjoy. That way you can use it whatever the weather is doing outside.

I think I paid $45 for my periwinkle blue slides on Amazon lol... and I don't GAF, I wear them wherever. my only major complaint, and this probably made the sprain a little worse than it might have been, but Oofos do not come in half sizes. so mine are a hair too big. if they get wet from the grass outside or whatever, I end up sliding around in them and have to swap out flip flops til they dry. keep that in mind if you end up buying some. Definitely not doing the slides. I wear the Sketchers slides and they are very tricking to keep on sometimes. The Oofos I saw were flip flops and I'm torn between 8 and 9. Have you tried Nike slides? I live in them. They're so comfortable!

Local doctors are not giving Paxlovid like they are where you are. A few weeks ago, TD’s symptoms had to be worsening at 3 days before they’d prescribe. For both TD and DS, both were getting better by then. The PA said that Paxlovid can be very rough on kidneys, so they don’t want to tak3 the risk if not necessary.

Good morning, intent invisipeeps, working hard at living your lives. Welcome to Tuesday. I hope this day your load has lightened considerably. I hope you have cause to celebrate some small or large victory. I need to go back and read the last 5 pages of this thread. DD's meeting yesterday went okay. She still has a job but will be suspended until PT signs off on her ability to meet the job's requirements, which she can do. Her first PT appointment is not until the 15th so she'll have no income this month. It rained yesterday most of the day. Today should be different. I took this yesterday at 6:30 p.m. The E.S.S. Pride is following the Sea Watcher II out to sea, past the hurricane barrier, to catch loads of shellfish. They were the first two boats in a line of five headed out for the night.

It's 1 ish and I am miserable. I started having sweats but not as bad yet I am antsy, so got up. Just feel awful. I made a cup of extra sleepy time tea to see if that helps me sleep. I think I have slept so much that is causing me to be awake too. At least DD is not coughing her head off so she is doing better.

I think I need to get or order some chewable vitamins that have B complex and C in them. Years ago Twinlab made some and called the Stress Mates. They were part of my Opti survives tough times tool kit. They also made good chewable Cal Mag vitamins which helped back then as well. Hope you feel better soon CG2.

Another day, another trial by fire ... Crestie is still alive although I am not sure how alive he truly is. He's in his carry case which is small but a controlled environment. Need to find dad is dead paperwork I hoped to complete at the beginning of the month. I basically lost those first two weeks to the extreme heat. I did work, I did commute, and I probably seriously injured my right knee during that time. Of course being July, major vacation time here, things were challenging already. I really hope they get better by fall sometime, but perhaps this will be a record-breaking epic Fall as well. One year around Halloween we had an ice storm. I hope we do not need to repeat that, but who knows. Specialist appointment is at the end of the week and I am extremely anxious about it. I'm sure the appointment will go fine, its what I will learn about my knee, leg etc. that concerns me.
