The ceilings look extremely low on this, right above the door frames.

I've embraced mine, but it took a while. Now IDGAF. My work speaks for itself. My boobs still make men uncomfortable. My boobs are what they are, I will not change them. Working in a male dominated field, I have an advantage - they are distracted which gives me time to prove that I know more than they do. Clothes never hung right on me. Never. If I went to the Petites section, everything was way too tight in the boobage area. If I found a shirt I liked that I could actually button across the chest, the sleeves hung down to the ground like I was an orangutan. I never embraced them. You'd think they'd be good for SOMETHING, but I couldn't even breastfeed with my massive mammaries. Now that I'm 73, nothing matters anymore. I had my reduction at age 42, and consider it one of the two best medical procedures I had, the other being my eye correction surgery. It was more about being able to exercise well, not so much about clothes (I hate shopping and wish someone would do it for me ). I did run this morning, but dang, it was freaking hot out there. About 90 feels-like temp by 8 a.m. Made breakfast, cleaned the bathrooms and the dishwasher is running now.

I had a breast reduction done when I was 25 and before I had 2 kids (that I never breastfeed). After my kids, the boobs still increases. Granted, I’m about 20 pounds heavier than I want to be and I hope once I look that weight, some will away from my chest and I’ll be back to the 36C I was after the reduction. I’m probably a 36DD now.

Just made first time peach cobbler. Pulled the recipe from my mom’s BH&G red and white cookbook from the 60s. DH loves peach cobbler. He is always checking restaurant menus for it. He deemed it “yummy”! I concur. On to making lasagna. That should carry us through Wednesday.

I'm tired of being behind the 8-ball and needing to do so much. I know. I'm the one that had all the kids, and that was a choice, blah blah. I'm not taking a break between jobs. I really can't, if I take a break, then my insurance stops. I thought I was done with the extra time sink of finding a job. That would, indeed, be a nope. I hope this feeling stops soon. Don't you have a bunch of banked PTO or sick time? Couldn't you burn that now? Yes to Both. i'm also using like two weeks between now and when I'm done with the old job. Burning sick leave is a no-no. I can convert unused sick leave to pay for health insurance premiums when I retire. Now that I've hit 20 years, I get some extra magical multipliers. I don't know where I'll land. Once, i thought 3-4 years. That's like an extra 75K-100K in retirement benefit. That's why I didn't take much sick leave when i was getting treated.

I cleaned enough out of our craft/game closet to put much of what has been on our fireplace inside the closet. There's a few things left as well as 4th of july decorations. Those can wait.
We have family visiting in a few weeks. I'm trying to clean up some now, because I'm going to be gone for one of those two weeks.
The house is in better shape then it's been, in a while. Our dining table has stayed pretty clean. It's still bad. And I'd not like to be embarrassed.
I'm also trying to prepare for being gone for a week. That I'm making good progress on. I've got my projects all packed and to a good point where I won't be wasting time doing a ton of prep work.
I have to work on finances tomorrow. They are a complete mess right now. Which is OK, but I also should be spending good time getting things done at work.
We may have to figure out some child care. I haven't even broached MIL about that yet.
I haven't gone back to school shopping yet, nor have I dealt with uniforms. We also have to fill out a scholarship application.
And DS chipped his tooth.
ETA: I'm also stressed about family visiting, because we need to start slowing our roll with fun things. They can afford to drop $50-60 at an activity multiple times a week. With my big cut in pay, I don't want to be doing that. And for us, it's generally more. Because more people. It gives me a lot of anxiety. Just in figuring out how to handle all of it. And, frankly, while I do like SIL, I get jealous that's she's afforded more privilege than I am and I think there's some tone deafness sometimes. I hate that I feel sizeways about her. I try not to say much to DH because I don't want to seem like a b*tch.

woof, I'm melting. I bought a splash pad for the goobers, and finally hooked it up just now. LD was completely uninterested in it, and Punk was afraid of the jets. I see this is going to take a little bit of getting used to.

I like this one! I see it's fenced, but check to see if the fence is high enough for your dogs.

My rare afternoon naps have a very different sleep quality than my nightly sleep which, even with melatonin, is fitful and dream-filled. Today's 1-1/2 hour nap was just deep and I awakened so relaxed.

Hubs is having bad leg cramps, I gave him some magnesium and also Back Aid. He said they were killing him. We both know he and I didn't have time to even drink water or go to the bathroom, I did once. We were just overwhelmed with people. Our 2 helpers had put signs all over and told everyone I think, about the sale, LOL. But if not for those guys this would not have been a success. They absolutely worked their butts off. They would go eat lunch and not even take a break, we could not have asked for better workers. They both have been in prison for stupid stuff at one time or another, not stealing though. One is homeless and the other doesn't have a good job but is going back into the Ironworkers. It's amazing how people just mess up their lives and it has forever consequences. Hubs knew the one guy growing up, and he said he has made a habit of messing up his life. We gave them a lot of stuff they can sell like scrap pipe and things. Hubs had lost a wallet years ago here and we never found it. They did today and he had something like $500 in it. But the bills were so ruined we can't get them replaced. What a shame, but at least we know what happened to it. Are you sure? Did your bank say that? The US Mint has a program where you can send them the $$ for replacement. www.bep.gov/services/mutilated-currency-redemption

I like this one! I see it's fenced, but check to see if the fence is high enough for your dogs. It is not. It's only about 3' high. Why even have a fence? The Barber house has a 6' privacy fence. The Barber house is DATED! The 77th house is too, but not as much. I have to rip out both bathrooms at both houses. In the kitchen of the 77th house, it just needs new countertops. Barber needs an entire kitchen remodel. Barber has a finished basement though and 77th doesn't. There is also the deck. 77th has a big deck, but the stairs and railing need replaced. Barber has a concrete patio that I won't have to replace. Tullis doesn't need any updates, and it's cheaper than both Barber and 77th. It's also in MO, so it's further away. So much to consider! My mom heard cheaper and remodeled and decided Tullis was it. Ha ha!

You guys. Shannon Doherty died. That made me so sad when I got the news alert this morning. I've been following her on Instagram and listened to her podcast. She really faces everything head on. I was always a fan of hers. 💔

They did not stage it well. The staging made it look old, IMO I like the flooring. And no pics of the basement? Maybe I missed it. Does it have a garage? I would definitely check it out in person, if you like the area. That's no way to talk about Grandma and Grandpa's 50-year-old furniture! 🤣

Melania's letter after Trump's assassination attempt. She didn't write that. Her English isn't that good.

Watching the England Spain Euro cup final. Rooting for England, Spain seems to foul so much If Spain wins think we’ll hear the cheers from all the fabulous Spanish restaurants on Ferry St in Newark - 14 miles away! Love going to the Portuguese and Spanish restaurants there. Went every Friday in graduate school

Apparently that's worth about $40,000 on the value

I am starting to get nervous about Mister bringing this car home. So much so that I am almost willing to move my car out of the garage to keep the new car in there, out of sight. Mister has been okay with me being adamant about my car staying in the garage. He is willing to move his car to the driveway, if the new car will fit with my car, but I am pretty sure they won’t both fit since our garage is so small.
My fear is not about the car being stolen, but about what a thief might be willing to do to steal it. Maybe I am traumatized/paranoid/something by all the shit that went on with people constantly trying to steal the T’s cars, including shooting at Mr. T. Their cars were at the top of the list of “most wanted” cars by thieves, but this is still a popular sports car and as my Grandmother use to say “Some people would steal the stank off shit if they could”. I sit outside all the time, and I just don’t want any problems.
It’s always been a concern, but I guess shit just got real.

I never wanted to park in it, for fear of the spiders. Yuck! Nope. I didn't even go in there. Ever.

There is at least one HUGE bird living in the trees near our house. We have seen a lot of big birds since we moved into our house, but this one is HUGE. We see it coasting on the currents, high in the sky, all the time for the last few weeks. I know it may not even be the same bird every time, but we only see one huge one at a time. Even when we see it coasting high in the sky, the wing span makes it obvious that it is very big. Last Monday or Tuesday afternoon I was sitting outside and on the phone with Mister, but that time it came down from high in the sky and must have landed somewhere on the undeveloped land behind our house (where there are no trees). It didn’t swoop down, like it was after something, but I couldn’t see it anymore to see what it was doing, because fences and tall brush obstructed my view. It didn’t fly back into the air while I was outside. But I told Mister, the big bird is coming down behind our house! And he knew what I was talking about lol. And that reminded him of a couple of days’ prior, when he’d stopped by his parents’ house. The next door neighbor, D came outside when Mister was leaving and they chatted for a minute. While they were chatting D told Mister that the neighbor on his other side, B (2 doors down from Mister’s parents’ house) had a little dog like my son’s dog. Mister remembered B and his little dog. Well, the week before, B had let his little dog out into his fenced in backyard, and when B went to let him back inside, he couldn’t find the dog. After searching and calling for the dog, between B and D’s cameras, they saw that a big bird had swooped the little dog up. I then reminded Mister that when we first moved into our house, I kept reading where different people in our neighborhood kept saying not to leave small dogs and cats outside alone because of the predators, including large birds. This bird we’ve been seeing lately, definitely looks big enough to make that warning real. DS brings his tiny dog with him when he comes over, I’m going to have to remind him about the warnings. He would be devastated if something happened to his little buddy. But what, keep a leash on him at all times when he goes outside, to try to be able to snatch him back

I had a friend whose dog got carried away by a big bird too.

I hate shaving my legs, and then I remembered something I packed in the bag I used to take to the country. It's a depilatory mitten. You just gently rub it on your legs in a circular motion and the hair disappears. Followed by some lotion. my legs are as smooth and hairless as a baby's bottom. I'm going to use it all the time now. www.jeancoutu.com/en/shopping/product/natural-hair-remover-mitten/101727/

Do you think Mister's old car and his new car, will both fit in the garage, if yours and his new one won't? I get what you're saying, but I would be bothered somewhat, if my car always had to sit out. When I was married to Ex2, our house had an old single car garage. I never wanted to park in it, for fear of the spiders. Yuck! Nope. I didn't even go in there. Ever. Our cars are both Honda Accords. Mine is an older coupe, his is a 2016 sedan, and bigger than my car. So his Accord and the new car definitely will not both fit. I don’t think the new car will fit with mine either, because I am pretty sure it is wider than Mister’s Accord. When I say our Accords just barely fit in the garage together that means my car is backed in so that both driver doors open in the space between the cars. And the space between the cars is still so narrow that I can’t open my driver door all the way without dinging Mister’s car. We have to pull our cars out of the garage for someone to be able to get in on the passenger side of either car, or really even get to the doors on the passenger sides. I am puzzled as to why our 2 car garage is so small, when the house was built when the average car was a lot bigger than either of our cars. Mister’s old Lincoln was made decades after our house was built, and it’s too long to be able to let the garage door down if it’s in the garage and the front bumper is right against the front wall. I had a one car garage at my first house, but thank goodness there were no spiders lol, because that’s where my current car lived from day 1, then I moved here where there was also a garage. Which is why I’ve been telling Mister I’m not making my baby go live outside in a driveway now, in her old age, just because he wants another car lol.

I was thinking Mister's new car was going to be an EV. Is that not true? If it's an EV, wouldn't he want to keep it in the garage in order to charge it?
