Good for you! It's your money and heck with them! It has nothing to do with whether or not you love them. It looks great. I'm also giving serious consideration to change the beneficiary on my will. The one who does what he can from afar, listens to me when I am scared with this cancer stuff and shares his son with me is of more assistaqnce than any of the 3 who live nearby. I am sorry that your local family members are not being more supportive of you while you are going through this.

I just noticed that. The perils of posting from your phone. Damn autocorrect! Well, depending on one's diet it can be an arsenal too. I ate incredibly spicy Kung Pao chicken yesterday so you may ask me how I know 🤣🤣🤣

Hubs made $9,979 on his part of the yard sale, and I made $1,254.50. He sold his backhoe and the old truck. In fact, we sold so much stuff and had so little left, that we gave the rest away and cancelled the sale for tomorrow!! I can't believe the people that came, we were almost overrun with people. Yes, it was a great success, we are happy its over. YAY!

I am over the moon right now because Martin, our landscaper, is okay and sent a crew our way. He lives south of us closer to the coast and we were very worried about him and family. Also, the next door neighbor is blasting Latin rhythms which make my heart sing. Life is getting close to normal for most of my beloved world in what some call the armpit of Houston. So glad to hear it!

I just noticed that. The perils of posting from your phone. Damn autocorrect! Try writing anything on phone in a foreign language. The results can be ummm...interesting is the best way to describe it. My oldest brother keeps telling me to change the language setting but switching between three different languages anytime I write something is just asking for trouble. Knowing me I would rarely have the correct setting for any message shit like this is why I'm thankful my family largely understands both languages, and that we are equipped in both sides of the border to translate as needed fir those who don't.

The federal government and most states are not tracking Covid cases. The best indicators are wastewater levels. Hospitals in California went back to masking requirements yesterday. I don't know if it was one system or one section of the state. The number of people here that have actually bothered to test and I know IRL is crazy. I am thinking after my sister goes to a wedding and then a funeral on her husbands side of the family, she will have Covid and I will be in search of a driver for my surgery. The person who the funeral is for died from Covid. Every time that family gets together, they pass Covid around. Sister and her DH have done it before and I don't expect this time to be any different. Mister got a call with a recorded message from the Rehab place his Aunt is in. Yes, she’s in a rehab facility AGAIN. The message said that 3 patients in the facility had recently tested positive for COVID and blah blah blah that I tuned out on, but I caught it where at the end, it said that at that time masks were not required for visitors to the facility. Huh?

well, I'm back from a little day trip over the bridge to hit Market Basket and get the pups out of the house. there's a few things I can only find (or not pay thru the nose for) at that store, and it's where empress found dried chili peppers on her way down a few weeks back after we struck out at a couple places. I just turned on the heat to my Dutch oven to start on some pozole. here's hoping this comes close to the magic andi created in my kitchen. And can I just tell you I was absolutely shocked they had those peppers? Seriously.

I couldn't find a fresh clam here in South Texas if I tried, but one of my local stores has a dried pepper bar with bins of every dried pepper imaginable. You just grab a plastic bag and fill it with whatever peppers you want from the mild to nuclear. Even our little neighborhood groceries have 4-5 varieties of dried and fresh peppers. That's America

I had never seen possums here (northern NJ) until I saw my dog gently pawing a dead one on my driveway a couple of years ago. I put the dogs inside and went to clean up the little corpse, and it was gone. It wasn't dead; it was playing possum!

I have War for the Planet of the Apes in the background while I cook. It's amazing what they can do with CGI.

We don't have possums out here that I know of (southern NM). We had them everywhere when I lived in the south. I liked them, except for one time a possum fell out of a tree and hit my car while I was driving. Scared the crap out of me. The possum looked stunned, then ran off. He had landed on the hood.

Our 16-person text group is getting really, really real tonight with the political news and that's not a bad thing overall. We've now, as a group, spent one week plus without power and are getting to know one another on a far more honest basis than ever before. I am casting this in the perspective of how it will make us better community leaders. Time will tell but I'm feeling just a little bit more optimistic about the future. Perhaps we can overcome some of the fears and hatred that have plagued our board since January.

Well, I just spent 5 hours driving in storms. It totally sucked. It wasn't even supposed to rain today!! There were several times we had to find cover and about 20 minutes from home there was a ton of hail. I managed to get off the highway and into someones driveway that had some trees, but it wasn't much cover. I hope the fridge didn't get all dinged up, I was afraid to look too close when I got home.

Zero bra, it has built-in cups. Heels should work, I tried on some too tight 3" heels I have at home and it was just fine, something ever so slightly taller will be perfect. Event is end of August, so I'd really have zero time to hem anything. It's all going to work out in the end! I love the dress. This is one of those times that I wish my boobs could handle built in cups. There have been times in my life that I said I would get a boob job, but then I realize that my bras fit much better/are more comfortable on my petite frame when my weight is in check and I can wear a bra <=34C. I am hesitant to use built in cups even at <34C but I am old and too conservative. I also have different standards for me vs. other women.

ETa the main reason I checked in was to see how CG’s sale went. It is awesome it went so well and you were able to cancel tomorrow’s sale. DH and I went to a 4th Birthday party for DN’d 4 year old son. This niece is same age as DS. He was working today. It was a beautiful day. We only stayed a few hours. Stopped for a few cocktails and Chicken Wings at a bar on the way home. Have to go pull my laundry from the dryer.

Hubs is having bad leg cramps, I gave him some magnesium and also Back Aid. He said they were killing him. We both know he and I didn't have time to even drink water or go to the bathroom, I did once. We were just overwhelmed with people. Our 2 helpers had put signs all over and told everyone I think, about the sale, LOL. But if not for those guys this would not have been a success. They absolutely worked their butts off. They would go eat lunch and not even take a break, we could not have asked for better workers. They both have been in prison for stupid stuff at one time or another, not stealing though. One is homeless and the other doesn't have a good job but is going back into the Ironworkers. It's amazing how people just mess up their lives and it has forever consequences. Hubs knew the one guy growing up, and he said he has made a habit of messing up his life. We gave them a lot of stuff they can sell like scrap pipe and things.
Hubs had lost a wallet years ago here and we never found it. They did today and he had something like $500 in it. But the bills were so ruined we can't get them replaced. What a shame, but at least we know what happened to it.

My bra size is 40HH. 38DDD in the 6th grade. It took a long time for me to be comfortable with my breast due to abuse by male students. Not anymore. But that means that I also can not wear certain clothes comfortably.

Macy is such a bitch. I took both twins outside. She peed and then came back inside and pooped. She's free to a good home.

You can buy piñatas and tamale pots and any kind of spice you want. If any of y'all ever come this way, we'll go there. The guajillo peppers empress was looking for, I buy in bulk in huge bags. That's why when chiver asked if the size bag you had was enough I didn't know. I only buy huge bags of them.

A boob reduction. I'm short and small, wearing a 40DD bra. I never had the 'extra' money. Our universal healthcare won't pay for boob jobs. They'll pay for reconstruction after breast cancer, but otherwise, no. I always felt that no matter what I wore, I could never look elegant or classy. You never see an elegant woman with huge knockers. I hated them, plus they brought a lot of unwanted attention.

My boobs still make men uncomfortable. My boobs are what they are, I will not change them. Working in a male dominated field, I have an advantage - they are distracted which gives me time to prove that I know more than they do.

I dunno. It's hard to tell what's what from the pictures. It doesn't look like there's any space between hardly for a person to sit on the toilet.
