Sorry I haven't read any of the messages on the board. I'm exhausted but happy between mom's visit and new job. Job is going well. It's quite an adjustment after 12 years with the same employer. Love the company, everyone is so nice and friendly. Completely different from the environment I come from. Of course I have a lot to learn but I like this. I have a question. Yesterday I got an email from Musicbed. It said welcome. It's a music streaming service. Did not sign up for this service. Being busy right now I forgot about it. This morning I got an email from someone at Musicbed welcoming me to their services. None of the emails have an unsuscribe option. I googled the company and it says the service is free for 14 days. I don't know what to do about this. Mark it as spam and ignore it ![](https://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff155/JiminiChristmas/ymamsmiles/thumbsup.png) Only do something if a charge shows up somewhere, but they are likely phishing your email address, for scam fun and profit. If you don't respond, eventually they will move on to other targets.

How the fuck am I a FOUR? Repeat after me. You are not a FOUR. You are not below average. I agree that it would be great if you could get a break from going there. I know that isn't how you want to spend the inheritance from you FIL, but you sanitiy needs some nurturing at the moment. Your manager might be scored as below average and she's using you as a target. My below average rating after I legit should have gotten outstanding given what the manager required, was given to me by a manager that got fired/pushed out from her prior job. Do a Trump, I am what I say I am. Its more true than what box they want to push you in.

I had these last week! Pretty good! I have to watch my sugar intake so these were perfect! I also found a zero sugar Cayman Jack product! Do you have a link? www.caymanjack.comI was walking through Walmart a couple of weeks ago and saw these. They are pretty good! I drink them over ice. I'm diabetic so I need to watch the sugary stuff.

The guy who sprays around our house for bugs came today. I talked to him when he first got there and he said he would spray the ground around my tomato plants lol. They are on chairs and tables right now, so even though I prefer to grow my vegetables as organically as possible, I don’t care at all about pesticides being sprayed on the ground around their containers.
He kind of has a vested interest in my success with my tomatoes, since last year I gave him ugly tomatoes that I wanted nothing to do with. He’s a country man, and the ugly did not bother him at all, he said he and his wife thoroughly enjoyed the delicious tomatoes I gave him. He has made it clear that he will not turn down my homegrown tomatoes if I offer him some, so that’s why I say he has a vested interest lol.
Normally, he only sprays around the foundation of our house and around the doors and windows, for bugs that might try to get inside the house. So it’s not like I’m trying to kill everything, everywhere, just trying to keep bugs out of my house. But these damn wolf spiders that have me even more afraid to walk in our grass now, might make me rethink wanting to try kill all the bugs, even in the yard, as much as possible.
Mister just uses stuff in the yard to try to keep down fleas and ticks, because of the dogs, but his main concern has mostly been the small fenced in area where the dogs go out to do their business, because that’s where they spend the most time. Lately he's been using pesticides in the front yard too though, because the yard people say that it’s some sort of bug that has killed most of the grass on half of our front yard.

I’d like it Entered into today’s record that after two years of being annoyed, I have finally moved the cable box to a better spot. It took me an hour. I had to use a step stool, a drill, a mallet, and a wrench. I’m quite dusty and need a nap.

I counted DD's Monster High Collection, a ton of money in those, but I'm thinking $5 each or $160 for all. There a few she paid $40 for I cringe when I see that. I asked her to not do that, but she went shopping with a person from her daycare and neither she nor I could dissuade her. The only thing that stopped her was Toys R Us Closing, they are all in original boxes.
I am not selling these, I think we have the complete cast of Twilight dolls, I bought those. Have to double check.
I am down packing my sewing room things as I empty up the red Christmas boxes, the dolls were in. They are excellent for those items. I will tape them shut though.
Had phone and computer problems all day, think they are finally resolved.

I suppose we could do that, but hubs was leery of that. We are both not wanting to add any more driving then we need to either. We are getting to be old, tired people.
Yes, there is insurance, we can choose the level of protection we want. The $8k is for the whole truck. We pack and bubble wrap glass cases. They put packing blankets on all furniture. They load everything, then when there will place all furniture where we want it and boxes in the rooms marked. We don't have stairs there, just 1 to the hobby room and one to the house proper. Here there are 12 to the basement and she said no extra charge for that.
And if we have room, the patio furniture will go, the small lawn mower and hubs big tool chest and 4 nice metal cabinets in my garage and the old wringer washer. We will see.
I'm going to watch the debate. I wasn't and thought I need to see this.
Back at it for a bit. I'm going to open the main room in the basement to shoppers too, it may rain. Mainly dolls down there. Tomorrow need to mark prices on things.

Our dinner tonight featured items from my garden. Cherokee Purple tomatoes, new potatoes, cucumber dill salad, and herbs from my herb garden for the roasted potatoes. I also made pork chops with my new-to-me George Foreman grill.
The tomatoes were downright ugly but they tasted good.

Actually went into the office today for our now annual drag bingo Pride Day at work. I love that for us. Tonight husband and I are going to a taping of NPR news quiz show, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me. It's at my favorite outdoor venue (thankfully the weather is cooperating) and it's a picnic show, so we'll bring hoagies and booze with us. Very jealous - its my favorite show and they rarely come my way This is our sixth show in Philly. Always such a good time! I'm setting myself up for disappointment because I really want Jason Kelce as the Not My Job guest. Fingers crossed!

Okay, I'm a bad director. I just couldn't make myself go to tonight's meeting. I never, ever miss one but I just couldn't put on my smiley face tonight and deal with the BS. We don't have a community meeting in July and the president has decided not to have a board meeting either (whole lot of folks have questions about that decision!) so I'll try to get my stuff together for August.

Its been at least 2 years but it is heavy and I cannot move it myself. The 1800JUNK folks start at $100 or $150 to even consider getting it out of my not first floor apartment. If I wish on a star maybe it will take this year!

It occurred to me when I tried rearranging the living room a few months ago, that I am no longer tied to keeping the TV in the same location any more.

I messaged my medical provider and said I was quitting provastatin because of body aches and I am NO for a colonoscopy. Arthritis is enough to deal with.
I couldn't get the sheets on my bed correctly. I didn't have a temper tantrum but just stopped. I need sheets with a pattern so I know which way is which. I expect my mood to get better shortly.
I keep tags on all of the sheets, blankets, and quilts. They are all placed so the tag is on the foot end of my side of the bed. Everything is correct in this orientation. Standing at the foot of the bed, my side is the right hand side. It is such an easy way to be sure all of the bed linens are on correctly. ![](https://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff155/JiminiChristmas/ymamsmiles/yeahthat.gif) I didn't know people even removed the tags on their sheets.

And I love my George Foreman too. Last week I did lamb chops on it because it was upper 90's at dinner time; they turned out really well. Mine has the removable plates that go in the dishwasher for easy clean-up.

PS: I still don’t know about eating uglass tomatoes though! LOL! Tomatoes were “ugly” before they were bred to be appealing in appearance to sell in the groceries. I know. Well, I know that now, because I have learned lol. It did not help that the first year I grew tomatoes, in grow bags on my deck, they really were pretty and perfect. Until the f’ing squirrels got to them and ate all of them! I didn’t really know that I’d just gotten very lucky with all the pretty tomatoes I got that year, before I lost all of them to the squirrels and gave up, until last year when I grew them in a container on the ground. Then I had cracked tomatoes, tomatoes with Blossom End Rot, tomatoes that caterpillars got to before I did, and tomatoes that just were plain old ugly for whatever reason. Yuck! I will not be surprised if there is a whole field of tomatoes on the other side of the dilapidated fence on part of the back of our property, where Mister and DS threw all of the tomatoes that I was totally disgusted with last year. Which was probably half of them lol. But I am learning that I must be much more stubborn than I thought I was, because for some reason, it is very important to me to keep trying to grow tomatoes. I don’t even know why, since I don’t even really like fresh tomatoes much, although I do love tomato based sauces in cooked food. Maybe it’s because I really would like to provide and cook with home grown herbs and vegetables, and tomatoes are *supposed* to be fairly easy, so it makes sense to my brain that if I can grow tomatoes successfully, I can move to other vegetables. Or maybe I’m just a crazy person for real lol.

I usually grow the cherry or plum size tomatoes since they are a lot less likely to split when it rains too much. I just have to use a lot more of them in recipes that call for normal size tomatoes.

I learned that the 50+ group that we went with today is planning to get a group together for a cruise next year. Since DH won't fly, doesn't like large cruise ships, and generally won't travel, I'm going. I don't care where the damn ship is going but my rear will be on it. They can do donuts in the Gulf of Mexico for all I care. With my luck he'll decide he wants to go too and that's a real buzz kill with him up my &*%@ every minute of the day and complaining about every damn thing from dawn to midnight. I've sometimes wondered how folks manage to fall off cruise ships when the railings are so high - we may find out Oooooh, and so efficient! No frEEzer needed

I took my antidepressant early to hopefully knock me out.
I'm still really wired.
I have tomorrow off that was already planned before today.

Filled the feeders tonight and found out that one was pretty busted up when it leaked seed all over the floor of the garage so I'll have a big project tomorrow afternoon. I ordered 2 new ones from Amazon. We had the cutest ever teenage opossum on the deck this morning at dawn. He was about 9 inches long plus tail. They are adorable at that age.

Well, my dad and I had our first show down over the car keys today. He’s never been a great driver, but when he’s not feeling well, it gets worse. He hit 2 curbs and then parked in a spot that was restricted for something else, I don’t even remember. So we got out and I cornered him and forced him to give me the keys. I then forced him to use his cane, so was double mad at me, lol. But then, bc he did hand them over, and bc I move faster than him, I just hopped in the drivers seat when it was time for us to head home. He then kept yelling that I was driving too slow, why wasnt I turning right on red, why wasn’t I going home the right way.
Sigh. I am really not looking forward to dealing with him as he continues aging. We’ve about decided we’re moving up here next summer to be closer to them, which is the right move, and I know it’ll be fine. But nights like tonight make me regret being the first born, type-a, highly capable daughter, haha. Families, man.

So, on Tuesday, noticed one of the dogs limping very, very slightly. Yesterday morning, I went to give him a treat and noticed that one of his toenails was sticking in a strange direction. ![](https://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff155/JiminiChristmas/ymamsmiles/sad.png) So, off to the vet - they had to pull the nail and cauterize it because it was split in three pieces down near his toe. They're like "he'll be sleepy from the anesthesia, blah blah" and he comes barreling out of the back room full of energy and ready to go, haha. Then today, my kids had a basketball camp presentation and we picked up lunch. We got home and my 8yo goes to get lunch out of the passenger seat, but accidentally sticks her finger in the wrong place and gets the car door shut on it by my 10yo. ![](https://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff155/JiminiChristmas/ymamsmiles/sad.png) Thankfully she seems fine after some ice and Tylenol (and an hour of screaming asking if she's going to lose her finger - she's very dramatic) - she can bend the finger, etc. Keeping my fingers crossed (pun intended) that no serious damage was done or we will be off to the doctor if it doesn't seem to get better in the next few days. Never a dull moment. I hope her finger is okay. When I was in elementary school, my little brother (a toddler, at the time) got the end of his finger cut off in a car door (hinge side), when the door got shut. We had to take turns holding it on, while my mom drove to get it sewn back on. It was awful. But he's had full use, all his life. Just a small/light scar. No car seats in those days, or even seat belts.
