oh no! sending huge hugs and healing vibes. She's beating on her own but her blood pressure is still low. I called my brother to come up he hates hospitals but I can't carry dad and myself alone. DH is coming up soon. I'm shaking so bad I can barely hold the phone. (((((Hugs)))))

She's stable now. They are removing the clot.
DH took Abby to his sister's. Gwen is here with us. My brother is here I told him I needed his help.
The tea here is gross all they have is Lipton. I half jokingly asked if they can provide emergency Xanax for family members. They said no.
So gross tea it is.

It's not good. She's being transferred to a hospital with more advanced heart care. I'll be going with I don't think my dad should be alone.

That's terrible news but I'm glad they are transferring her to a specialist hospital where she will get the best care.

I'm so sorry NomoreDramaQ1015! I'm sending prayers & a lot of positive thoughts your direction. Unfortunately, we'll both be at the hospital today. My relative is back in the hospital, and the doctor says he's quite sick. He's septic again. Don't know whether his nursing home missed the symptoms earlier, or what, but he's in ICU. Could be UTI, or something else. I just hate hospitals.

I took tomorrow off too. They are being great. I went in to see mom I'm not sure if that was smart or not.
I brought Gwen home. She doesn't need to stay. I said I'd call when they can see her.
I got my phone and charger. I'll stay up there for as long as possible.
IDK what to do. I've never seen my dad so scared and I'm not doing well either. DH offered to come but I think his place is with the kids right now.

Kid forgot to drive with me carting him around for a week. Left his headlights on when he got to work today. Good thing his mom works at the same place and noticed when she came in. In his defense he was returning his dad's car today and it doesn't have automatic headlights like all of ours do. When my boys had a vehicle without automatic shutoff, they learned real quick how to jump start a vehicle.

I'm getting my first of 4 iron iv infusions. I'm a tough stick and it took 3 tries to get the IV. But I'm sitting in a cancer treatment center which is very sobering.

DH and I are on the hunt for a third dog, but we can't figure out what breed to get. We currently have an 11yo beagle and 3yo lab. We want a dog that is active and good with kids. I don't want another lab, and he doesn't want anymore boxers (we have had 3). We were thinking about a vizsla, but they are even needier than labs. Then we moved on to german shorthair pointers (too much energy), then rhodesian ridgebacks (too stubborn and big), then irish setters (he says they're too hard-headed), and now wirehaired pointer griffons.
I want a medium-sized dog that I can pick up (our lab is 85 pounds, but the vet said he needs to lose 10!) in case of future mobility issues (I carried our boxer up and down stairs for several months before he died) or whatever else may happen. We just cannot come to an agreement! But maybe I should look into large dogs. We don't want another small one until our beagle passes away (I'm rooting for a cavalier king charles spaniel but DH says no).

We've started thinking about a 2nd dog but will go for a mutt. If we didn't have the pet insurance and benefits through dh's job we would have spent thousands on devil dogs gi issues which makes another pure bred less appealing.

LD is about 65lbs, and a complete goofball with those in his world. he also has two speeds - nuts, and OFF. the breed used to be known as "nanny dogs" in centuries past as good with kids.

I said no more big dogs after Sabah died.
A month later I got the horse sized lab known as Charlotte.
I can't see not having a black lab in my life anymore.
Was sorely tempted to adopt a red heeler at the shelter that was the spitting image of Sabah but I'm sticking with no shepards or healers right now.
Maybe when the kids are grown and I have more time for enrichment.
I'd love a pug but they be expensive.
I'd name him Wilbur. Get it?

I'm fairly actively looking for a dog. Now that those pair of shepherds got adopted yesterday I can go back to the shelter. LOL They were really too much for us, but I didn't trust myself to be rational. They have puppies now, but don't know if I want to do that either.

Mom has finally been transferred. That was fun.
Almost lost my shit because they couldn't find her in the system. It was Gwen and the NICU all over again. I'm still mad about that it's a HUGE trigger.
Running tests. I'm sitting here vibrating. Probably was not the best drink of choice but I'm starting to wobble so caffeine it is.
