Well, I got the deck all replaced with a different one on my mower and when I fired it up the belts instantly started smoking, so I was right in that this is the one that had something going on with it.  Not sure what to do now.  I might have to dig my trailer out of the shed or borrow someone elses and just take it somewhere.

Proof that in some ways we could not be more different: one of the things I really look forward to after my planned move is that I will never have to drive again! It will have to wait for about 2 more years but still...I'm really looking forward to good public transportation

I love to drive, but I HATE the traffic! If traffic isn't bad, I don't mind driving at all. I quite enjoy it. Although I don't enjoy it at night, or bad weather anymore.

I prefer a manual transmission too. But they're so hard to find any more! (So much more fun and control!)

I'm not a huge fan of driving, but my husband hates it more than I do, so I end up driving whenever we go anywhere.

I am anxiously awaiting the development of reliable self driving cars, but it seems so far away. I heard on a podcast that there will be thousands of self driving semi trucks on the road within a few years. Idk how that will work, when my Subaru driver assist functions turn themselves off every time it rains too hard.

It is finally raining after broken promises all day yesterday and earlier today, from the weatherman. 

I am excited to see tomorrow and the next day, what the rain tonight does for my plants. I absolutely believe that it is true that rainwater hits differently for gardens, in a good way, compared to what comes out of my faucets. We have “good” water where I live, but rainwater is still the GOAT.
