I'm colouring Easter eggs. Tomorrow is my Easter. Enjoy! I think we should color all our eggs, all year! Mine come pre-colored.

I did good. I just bought a set of needles for the class. They did wind the hank into a cake for me. And I found out I got the good teacher I had before.
I think I will be pleased with the project. I'll also probably give it away because I don't wear shawls.
I'm also able to eat now. Which is good. But, it's like one meal spread out over the course of the day.
My shoulders are about two inches lower than yesterday, so that is something.

Okay, breakfast done, floors clean, and stuff picked up so we can make a good impression this afternoon when the realtor comes. Next time y'all decide to have one of those "I can't sleep parties" would you please not invite me? Awake at 4, DH was flopping around like a beached fish while snoring loudly. I finally dozed off just in time for the 6 am alarm. Alarm? On a Saturday? I haven’t used an alarm in years. No, not retired, I just rarely sleep more than 6 hours and am usually up in plenty of time for work. It is hard to be late when the morning commute consists of dodging cats on the way down the hall to the corner bedroom office. I don't set an alarm either, and I work FT. I mean, I work like 20 feet from my bed so there is no need. Definitely not setting one on the weekend.

Hello from Hawaii! Enjoying some down time with DGS telling me all about his Minecraft inventory. Grand daughter is napping. We’ve visited the playground this morning, splash pad wasn’t working but Mother Nature gave us a few sprinkles instead.

Both of my kids had wide feet when they were little, countrygirl2, especially DS, so Stride Rite shoes got a LOT of money from us, LOL. It's getting more difficult to find stores that sell those shoes, but you could get some very wide widths, so at least their shoes fit.

Our bodies have spent too many decades with a 6 am alarm to change. Most days we are actually awake at 5 and often get up then. If I followed my body's natural rhythm without meds, I would go to sleep around 8 or 9, get up at midnight, go back to sleep around 4 and get up at 6 or 7. But the modern world doesn't accommodate our personal body cycles too well.

I ran the battery down on my phone today, clearing my emails every chance I got. I had 20k emails. [img class="smile" alt=" ![:-[](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/embarrassed.png) " src="//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/embarrassed.png"] I even deleted them all, after I moved them to trash. Now I’m on my IPad and I have almost 15k emails again. I was using my phone at work, and now I have almost 15k emails on my phone too. WTF?! Did I really just waste hours of my day deleting thousands of emails that still aren't deleted? My boss at my side gig has given me new responsibilities, so I need to actually use and check my emails. That’s why I was cleaning it all up today. Maybe I need to just start over with a whole new email address for business. UGH! ETA: It gets worse, now I have over 20k again. Fuck me.

o.m.g. The more I try to fix it, the more emails I have. Now I have a most 28k. Is it because you never clean out your email? Like the is years’ worth of emails? Do you need to read them? Can you press “select all” and then delete them all at once?

My phone often will not show all of my emails. I use the Gmail app and if I'm looking for something in particular especially in a folder, I often have to refresh/reload it on my phone. On a laptop they all pull up.

My hands and fingers are so sore. Got 1 chair done, got the table but am fighting the 2nd chair. I'm going to have to rest my hands for a while before trying again. The love seat is for sure going to be a multi hour thing. Probably multi days also. What are you doing? Cleaning? Stripping and refinishing? Actually putting it together with bolts, washers and nuts. The diagrams are -- interesting. Kinda like IKEA furniture but with wording and minimal diagrams.

countrygirl2I hope you enjoy your trip. I had a window A/C for years. I found an insulated cover for the inside. It slipped on with elastic and worked very well. I never covered the outside with anything. I hope you find something that works for you. Have fun.

I am tired tonight. Grandson is taking bath and I'm about ready for bed. It's 9:20 here so 12 or after back home. Also woke up early today so now am run down. I won't make it to much longer tonight.
DD made a mess, sometimes she ticks me off. She does things that she knows better than to do. I had to wash all her bed things and am drying the rest now. I am really aggravated, did not want to have to do that this evening.
I see grandson needs rain boots too, so will check Lands End, can sometimes find them. I have lectured the kids about having shoes big enough, he will damage his feet. Partly his fault, that old pair had spread and accommodated him and yes, they were Stride Rite. Now we have an accurate measurement will try to get him one more pair that are made better. DIL did find him one pair for school, but he wears those old 2 sizes to small for him the most. My folks were poor but they made sure we all had good shoes.
The damn dishwasher up here isn't working again. I flipped breakers trying to find it. I thought last time I marked it, guess I did not.
I took packing tape and went over all the vents and front of the window a/c that is placed through the wall, so sealed it good. Then put the cover back over it. I also sealed the ceiling vent in my bathroom and what a difference in here. I have the other I will do tomorrow in DD's bathroom, we can air the place with opening the 2 bathroom windows if we need to. The furnace is not running as much, its warmer in here. I think it will reduce our electric bill here. And its 50 out now.
Grandson just showed me what he is working on. He has a right triangle and the formulas to show the sides, he said to solve the hypotenuse. Been a long time, but brought it back to mind now. He was telling me this was the pythagorean theorem. He has it all written out for me. He does this and then plays with Lego blocks. I hope I can move up there. If nothing else I can encourage him.
This week going to help DIL out. Her car needs the brakes fixed and I will go in with her to get it fixed. Hubs and son said now on the cars they replace the rotors when they do the brakes. Used to be they turned the rotors at least once. Son is so aggravated, the wiring harness in the back had a rusted pin which caused it to not open right. He tried to order a new one, well surprise the car is 7 years old and they stopped making new replacement parts, he finally had to get a used one and has had all kinds of issues with the connectors. He said its working now but he left the cover piece off because it has quit 2 or 3 times and he wants to see if it continues before he puts it all back. He also has a ton of work to do for work tomorrow before he takes off again. He was stressed today and getting upset, so mom gave him some hugs and he calmed down. Then he apologized to wife for getting upset about trivia. I understand the stress part. He said the worst part is he created the stress right now in his job situation himself. Yep, that is the worse part when you do that. I picked up some fish today, I wanted some halibut so bad, but they are so expensive. They fried up good and were delicious, grandson and DIL came down and we had those. We had found a fish market here and going to see if we can find seafood there cheaper than Haggens. Haggens has a good variety of meat and seafood but is expensive. Yet I looked at the veggies and they are no higher than our market in town and yet here they pay a lot more.
The traffic today was crazy, DIL said people are moving here from all over. We saw plates from Hawaii, Alask, California, and other states. And they are building apartments all over, so going to get worse. None of us like that.

Good morning, feisty invisipeeps, fighting knots in yarn, weeds, sleep, and drafts in houses. Welcome to Sunday. I hope your day is serene and includes Sunday's sundae. Yesterday's show went well enough in logistics but was a bust otherwise. Not the venue for us. Many of the vendors were showing commercial products, including Cutco and Tupperware. People liked looking at our pictures but our only sale was a very small duck picture. Ah, well. It was good to see DSis. She came to help us break down and reload the car, then we all went to get a bite. Today we rest. I took this picture a year ago at sunset from the hurricane barrier causeway. I like the cloud and the coloring. ![sunset May 2023](https://i.imgur.com/MXKS4VH.jpeg)

Though when I was still working on site I'd just give up and get up and go to work by 4am.

One I've had since 2000 that became a cesspool, though I still sometimes get emails there from girls that I went to high school with. Another became a throwaway that I use for coupons for certain stores. I have 2 that I use daily. 1 is kept very private and locked down, the other I use to keep track of subscriptions - that one had proved very helpful for reminders, and because I handle things like streaming accounts it allows DH to sign in if I'm not around.

I do have a 3 hour pack planning meeting to attend though. I know you are jealous. And we also have to change out the Missy's art wall. It's been circa 4K for quite some time. She just had a jungle unit at school that has produced some nice work.

Some folks need "you do you" tattooed on their forehead. Given the approaching storm system, I let a friend know that we would probably skip her Sunday afternoon event. This was a big decision for us as we love her spring and fall parties BUT she lives many, many miles away and the weather is expected to be very violent this afternoon. So she pushed back, saying she had arranged for us to ride with someone else from the area which was a little offensive. Then she said she never watches TV or looks at the web because "it's all hype". Well, you do you, but it's not hype that hundreds of people have been evacuated from flooded homes, many area creeks, rivers and lakes are way out of bank, and lots of roads are closed. She said she doesn't even have tornado alerts on her phone because "they never really happen". That's true, until they do happen-ask the family of the man killed when a twister hit his home last week.

I have two cats clinging to me this morning. They love me and it feels good, but sometimes I just want my lap to be free.
I received the bill from the security company. I am going to call tomorrow about the app issue. I timed it. It was 47 minutes of time spent on the app before he called for help and was told to have me to delete the app and install it again. I'm not liking that was the resolution and he did not know to do that.
He also didn't come with a ladder. Some of the sensors are too high to change batteries without a ladder. So he used my 4 step ladder and complained he would have preferred a higher one. Well, you should have brought your own ladder.
I need them to explain the labor charge. That a very high rate for messing with an app and changing batteries.

I baked an overnight French toast casserole this morning. It used up some leftover hot dog buns. I'm going to make notes on how I did it as I mixed a few recipes.
We did the Sam's Club run yesterday. It's been raining all weekend.
Laundry today and making a roast for dinner.
