A 29 footer would be easier to get around. So many camp grounds just cannot accommodate the big ones they make now. In many parks I had to unhook my car so I could get my almost 40 footer around the corners and in the spots. Now they have 45 footers and with all the slides and tipouts I'm sure some slots are too narrow also.

Maybe we have found something to make hubs feel more comfortable and confident, now if it gets here on time. Never having looked at this stuff before, its amazing all the products out there now for incontinence for both men and women. So that's a good thing. We are hopeful it will improve some over time. It was expected, sad that only so much can be done for people. It’s very early after surgery for him. My very different surgery was about 3 months ago and gut is getting better over time. Was pretty awful first month

We’ve gone from planning to hike with DD#2 today to trading in our own 38-ft fifth wheel for a 29-ft 5th wheel. 😩 Because the heater quit? Maybe it needed to be washed. I keep telling people I will trade in Dirty Harriet before I will have her detailed

The mystery of Elmer was solved. Found the feather pile today. Either it was a daytime coyote or the neighbors had friends over with a dog. He was right by the property line. Sorry about that.

Made my 1/4 mile trip one way for soda. I am either getting better or flu is getting worse. Cough is real bad now. Flu? Asthma? Bronchitis? IDK. Needed/wanted my 8 pk of gingerale and wanted some real alcohol. Want I ended up getting was a some pack of mixer on sale. And white sparkling apple juice to sub in for wine. YS told me Walgreens in Illnois does sell shooters in some cardboard box. Forget the brandname. I think that's not true here in NJ. Blue laws are a real thing and pretty hard line compared to life in the red state of Indiana while going to college. Oh and I bought a too expensive butterfly clip for my hair as I killed the one I had and I accidently broke my fave claw clip. $15. 30 days more or less to return if I need to. Now to make lunch as the men are complaining at me. (Moon Shadow and Crestie.) I am exhausted and I told Moon Shadow where in the heck is all that poop eating (certain poop pellets ? ) that has been advertised? Why aren't either of you making me dinner? Houndini the White's treefrog would not make me dinner, but he could take care of himself and wanted to. I need to wash dishes for me so I can make dinner. Have not heard back yet if my friend can take me to a local grocery store tomorrow. Or when. (Trust in the universe. Repeat until I am tired ... ) Oy

Once upon a time when we were young we gave an epic New Year's Eve party in our very first house. We were very specific that everyone and everything was welcome, but not in the house. There was a firepit in the backyard for those partaking of anything except alcohol. This was the late 70's so there was plenty of "anything". DH and I were both municipal employees and there was a zero tolerance policy at the time.

I love Korean food, but I need low spicy because of my physicality now. So, Beef Bulgogi yes. Kimchi no unless wussy and cut with other food i.e. rice etc.. This was Buldok which I believe means "fire chicken". There are folks who think Mexican food is hot - they have never eaten Asian food. Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean - they all have peppers that make ours look like baby food. However, they are all excellent for clearing sinuses

Just took the dogs for their afternoon walk. TD said he took the dogs for a very long walk this morning, so I took them to the bottom of the road….about 1/2 mile down, and the same back but uphill. Kronk had to pee on everything, as usual.

OMG.
Overheard in the gira household: Missy: Farts
DS: Missy, a fart is not a punctuation mark.
Missy: It is if I do it at the end of a sentence. I don't know if I should be happier with the snark or with the fact that she knows that sentences have punctuation marks at the end of them. I think that is pretty good for a 5Ker.

Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean - they all have peppers that make ours look like baby food. However, they are all excellent for clearing sinuses And there are native recipes in all those cuisines that are not so hot. I finally learned the general trick of Indian cooking and why there is always the dairy based sauce and the other hot sauce. (Cucumber raita and ?). It is a way to make one main for the entire family. Depending on your preference you can use the dairy based sauce to cool it down, or the hot sauce to ramp it up because your DIL did not cook it hot enough. Many cuisines serve things with rice so you can cut the spice down. I eat some things without or various noodles out of preference but I like the fact my coworker taught me that and made me see Filipino, Chinese and Thai cuisine in a new light.

You best believe I'll be sharing the results. I'll send a pic each to chiver since I'm old and don't know how to post pics. I'm so interested to know. Everyone asks me when they see them and I have to admit I don't know. They are pretty unique looking IMO. I also find it interesting that Macy is giving greyhound while Jackson is giving coon hound, yet they are from the same litter. Both dogs and cats can have multiple sires for a litter so many times siblings can actually be 1/2 siblings, sharing a mom with different dads. True. I wonder about that because of the litter of 7, 5 looked like the twins and two looked like pure Doberman.

Never having looked at this stuff before, its amazing all the products out there now for incontinence for both men and women. So that's a good thing. We are hopeful it will improve some over time. It was expected, sad that only so much can be done for people. DH had a prostatectomy in 2002, a year after we retired. He was blessed with a very good surgeon and, although he had follow-up procedures to remove scar tissue, was fully continent after a few months. We actually flew to Italy that summer, our very first European trip. He began to experience mild incontinence about 2 years ago at age 82, primarily when walking long distances or lifting heavy weights. He currently uses the lightest level of Depends shields (basically the equivalent of a woman's panty liner), changing them 3-4 times a day. As I've posted here we have since traveled many times to Europe and across the US, including an 8-hour flight to Alaska in June. Every person and surgery is different, but time and good physical therapies including Kegel exercises can help a lot. You are right that there is a world of products out there for men and women. It takes some experimenting to find the best solution for an individual so it's important to keep an open mind and positive outlook. As the wife of a prostate cancer survivor, I truly hear your voice and concerns and wish you both the best in the journey of healing.

Was there anything that told you for sure it was him? Maybe it's a neighbor's chicken. Or is that me just hoping it wasn't him?

Supposedly it's some sort of survival gene thing to keep a male from killing the litter to bring the bitch back into heat and eliminate a rival's offspring. Any particular male doesn't actually know if he's got a pup in the batch so he leaves them alone.

I'm missing a black rooster and it was black rooster feathers strewn about in a 6 foot circle area, like 20 feet from my barn. I do have one black hen, but it's easy to tell rooster from hen feathers...and she's fine. All my other hens are brown or red and the neighbor kids don't have chickens.

The trailer saga is ridiculous. I’ll start a new thread because it’s absolutely personal finance-driven.
But the current status is we are driving home now. There is no trailer attached to our truck.

Got mom's tree up. Holy shit her 67 years of ornaments beats my 40 years by a mile.
I ended up giving up no way was I getting them all on.
I also left some off cause this is Bingos first tree.
I took ones I can't stand not having up but aren't replaceable over here and put them on my sun room tree. The dogs tend to not hang around that one.
Got her Christmas village up too.
Took me three hours. The kids sorta helped.
I wasn't going to NOT do it.
Dad had to leave early to prep. He said I could start again tomorrow if I wanted but I ran the gamut instead.
There is a pretty big hole in the holiday season. I don't think that is ever going to go away. Christmas is just too tightly associated with my mom.

There is a pretty big hole in the holiday season. I don't think that is ever going to go away. Christmas is just too tightly associated with my mom. Man you are a major Christmas person. My mom refined things as she got older. An artifical tree I think always went up while she b4 she went into an AL/indepentish living for a set fee. But as a lifetime teacher who had to do it all most of her life, she started doing it as timing. I am putting up ornaments today. And when I am tired, I'm stopping. I'm sure she got her grands to help, I know I only helped with cookies and some cooking and crap. And set tables and what not when she hosted at her place. She graciously let my HS friends come over when I was in town after college. And depending on whether it was TG/Christmas or some holiday week/end ... I'd get together with my HS BFF if she could come down. I baby wrangled for my BFF there and I don't remember the last time she was able to come, but N was a model guest in our home. Probably better than me which is why when I tag along on non family TGs (whether dating or XH's fam) I try to just ask about ingredients and try to just eat what I can and not make extra work for peeps.

I'm wallowing in a happy fat food coma after devouring a slice of probably the best veggie lasagna I have ever made. 🤤 I also stumbled onto My Cousin Vinny (CMT network, FYI..) and this will be my night.
tomorrow is supposed to be 15-20deg warmer, and I'm looking forward to it. I'm not at all ready for winter yet.

Met a dog (& owner) on the way home from work today. I decided to ask, he looks like a Silky Terrier... is he? And the male owner said no. They had to get a DNA test to confirm the little guy was 100% percent Yorkie. (terrier) Please share the results. I remember how leggy and beautiful your twins were when they were young. Will you post a recent pic or two? You best believe I'll be sharing the results. I'll send a pic each to chiver since I'm old and don't know how to post pics. I'm so interested to know. Everyone asks me when they see them and I have to admit I don't know. They are pretty unique looking IMO. I also find it interesting that Macy is giving greyhound while Jackson is giving coon hound, yet they are from the same litter. I see this, and the email. I'll pull rhe laptop out in the am to share. I'm on my phone tonight.

I'm not at all ready for winter yet. I could use some suggestions. I have lentil pasta noodles I bought on clearance from explore cuisine. Classic lasagna shape but short. Probably would use them in a 9 or 8 inch square pan instead of the traditional 13x9x2. I really don't like eggplant and haven't tried fake cheese that is riccotaish. Have used mozzarella non dairy cheese alternatives so I would have that covered. Any recipes you could post or suggestions? NO hurry but it would b good for me to clean out my pantry a little and use them up. (by year end or early new year)
