I got my exercise in this morning. I overslept and was awoken by the sound of the recycling truck pulling onto our road, so I had to sprint out while dressing at the same time and get the bin to the end of the driveway before he came back (I'm the first house on a dead end road). Made it with about 30 seconds to spare. Normally I wouldn't care, but I haven't had it picked up for awhile and it was really full. The funny part was, I had taken the bin all the way out last night then decided it was too windy and brought it back into the garage thinking I would easily beat him in the morning.

I will be sprinting momentarily, because I'm on here, instead of getting ready to leave! 🙄 I'm glad you got your trash out. How's Gus doing? Still improving?

Sitting around drinking coffee. I should bust out my laptop and pay bills. I have to go renew my DL today. Boo! At least it will be done for the next 6 years.

How's Gus doing? Still improving? Gus is doing really well. He's not sore at all anymore and comes running in every night. He will always be a foundered pony and still needs to lose a lot of weight, but for now he's doing great.

Ugh. FL condo is way more trouble than it’s worth rn. They lost the HOA fee check I mailed, dragged their feet waiting for mysterious closing documents to appear when all they needed was the publicly recorded deed, are now requesting late fees. Not impressed with the management company.

Thank you so much to those who shared birthday wishes (and beautiful cake!) - you made my day very special.
DH was very unhappy with me for "setting me up to fail" by not reminding him repeatedly of the date. He feels my behavior is the problem, not his, but that's nothing new or surprising.

Gwen HAD to have the Ugg tasman slippers. Those things are sold out almost everywhere. It's the one thing she really wants. I finally found them at Journey in a men's size 8 which should fit her. if I can almost wear a size 8 in men's she should defintely.
Everything says they run small so go a size or two up which that would be the equivalent in women's. I'll keep the reciept just in case.

I'm being productive already this am. laundry is well underway, dishwasher has been unloaded and will be reloaded in a little bit. Punk is at daycare, and I'm cranking out the clicks of online SOP training since my double security PIN was finally reset. everything else uses Okta SSO credentials, but SOP training requires an additional PIN. seriously ? anyway. I have a couple more calls to listen to re: annual regulatory reports, and then I'll head out to see if I can get my phone screen repaired today. around EOB yesterday, the section below the crack went completely dark. the touch buttons still work, but nothing lights up. that's not gonna work for me.

DH is able to remember my birthday just fine and has even commented that every man should know it's instant death if you can't remember your wife's birthday. Now my DAD on the other hand . . . I have pointed out he was freaking there when I was born you'd think that date would be lodged in his memory!

Another example of clueless men ODS doesn’t remember his own BD! Not important to him at all Actually why are BDs important? Because we make this ‘our ‘special’ day’

I wouldn't remember mine if people weren't making a fuss...which I honestly don't get. Because of this I really need to make a point of taking the time to put reminders in my phone for some of the biggies, namely my parents (there are 4 of them) and my kids. Because apparently other people do care.

I know, as I have a lot of shoes I bought on that side of the aisle. If they run small, there is about a difference of 1. I used to buy a size smaller to compensate for heavier athletic socks. Other shoes, 1.5 difference.

I didn't sleep well last night. Woke up at 2 am and took a while to get back asleep. Woke up at 5 and needed to pee. The cats thought we were up and did zoomies around the house for a while. Fell back asleep and got up around 8:30. Broken sleep doesn't give me the rest I need.
Chewy has already delivered Maddow's prescription cat food.

I went up 1.5 sizes while I wasn’t able to walk, so rarely wore shoes. I wondered if that had something to do with it.

All you would-be slappers are welcome to go for it! It will take a team approach if you are trying to slap the crap out of him as he is truly full of it.
Fixed breakfast, cleaned the bathrooms, and will head to the grocery store. Making a turkey meatloaf and mashed potatoes for supper.

Doing my usual laundry. Hubs got the tractor and wagon out, and I got the trash to the dumpster. This time I cleaned a lot of half empty and old bottles of stuff out of the fridge, plus leftovers. It sure looks better. And I'm going to use up some potatoes and eggs for some potato salad. Haven't made any in ages. That will also use up some end jars of pickles and items like that. Will likely have hamburgers and some other veggie with it today. The potatoes need used also.
I'm going to make baked beans, we are going to the neighbors Thanksgiving family dinner tomorrow. They always invite us and a couple of other strays with no families. We always enjoy it, good bunch of people. And the food is always soooo good. Everybody brings a lot, I will take baked beans, mine always seem to go over well. I need to thaw some bacon out for my baked beans. I might take a pineapple upside down cake though they have plenty of desserts.
I scheduled for service for our Kinetico system. Sometimes in the bathroom the water is fizzy looking and tastes like baking soda? And it doesn't look like enough water coming into the unit. Also I'm sure it needs a new filter and the kitchen may too, so its time. I noticed yesterday some of my ice isn't tasting right. They are coming Monday.
I need to run to town and pick up a few things for our dinner. A couple of huge baking tators and green onions, sour creme, and bacon bits. More eggs and potatoes also.

The McRib came back and I am currently shoving one into my face. I know it's not real meat but I love them. And yes, my fat ass did get the extra one for $1.

It is bad enough that they have weiner contests! I want in on the slapping contest here. I am fine with not being the first as it is kind of a long flight from here to Texas and I don't want you all to have to wait for me. Just make sure there is enough unslapped space left for me.

I don't seek out deals online from third-party sellers, I just buy from the carrier. I know that's not the most cost-effective, but it's the least painful for me b/c I don't need to be responsible for the logistics. I just walk out with a new phone. this one still has a lot of life left to it.
