That not sleeping thing sucks though. For me tbe only way to get over it is to just sacrifice the next day and skip sleeping all together. Wishing you some peaceful snoozing soon

I think it's more that I'm feeling better as time goes on, and I didn't do hardly anything today bc it was raining all day. the pups wi wake me up when they are hungry, and I can napon the deck in the sun.
I'm breathing clearly, the fever is gone, I'm just tired but somehow not sleepy tired.

I’m awake too. DD and her boyfriend are in Mexico. They also have friends from PA, and Boston with them. Did not hear from her today and I am worrying. Hopefully they are ok. I was supposed to tell her to be careful about drinking Alcohol in Mx. I think they all know that s they work for an Airline and travel a lot.
Hopefully my BIL and SIL made it home today. They were supposed to get in at 11 pm. His drinking issues kicked up on this trip, so hopefully they managed to board their flight. DD says their rules are very strict about not allowing passengers who appear drunk to board.
BIL’s oldest Son died Wed. He been battling a drug addiction for years, so it is not totally unexpected. His 2nd oldest was struggling to make affordable arrangements. My SIL finally told him to call my husband. He told DH he had called 31 funeral homes and he just couldn’t find anything affordable. DH told him all the funeral homes in the area are owned by only about 3 companies. DH has a good relationship with a funeral director in the hood. They went there and are doing a bare bones cremation and funeral for $3,100. DH put $500 down. DN wanted to have service at a church way out in suburbs, but let it go b/c it just would have required a lot more $$. Funeral is Scheduled for Oct 18th.
I cleaned kitchen this morning. Dishes/Stove top/floors/countertop. Have to work on books for DH’s business tomorrow. Took Mom to church and dinner then ran to Talbots & exchanged a top for my Mom. Came home & walked Dogs. I have a very boring life.
I would also like to watch the Elvis Movie.

I have sooo much to do and I'm not doing it. I am just messing around and not doing all the stuff I need to do here. Cleaning and getting rid of things. I took pictures of vests and jeans to post for sale but phone doesn't get signal good out here. What a pain in the butt. Guess I need to take pictures with a camera instead and post. I still haven't mopped my floors and intended to do 2 days ago. My motivation has got up and gone or something. I told hubs at this rate will take us 10 years to move. But he is doing the same, he said he was tired today and lay down and took a nap, so unlike him. Are we getting old? He is telling people now that looks like we are going to have to move to Washington. We were talking today about buying a new modular and putting it on that lot, but he said getting rid of the old one could be a problem. Of course we would rather buy our own land to put it on. And we continue not having any clue about what we are doing, still. But at least he is talking about it. so that is good. Connect you phone to your home wifi. Then you can use that instead of your cellular signal. This is what I do. I rarely use my cellular signal. And I rarely have issues with it.

Good morning, helpful and healing invisipeeps. I hope your Sunday is quite wonderful. This is a quick morning post because I need to start packing up for the fair. We should leave in a couple of hours. I hope those of you who had trouble sleeping are now rested. It rained furiously yesterday all day. Had lobster thermidore last night. It was amazing. Love living where seafood is fresh to the moment of dinner, nothing frozen. Took this picture a year ago on our 17th anniversary. We went to the Cape, a 45 minute drive away. This is a place we used to go when I was a child. The painted rocks on the dune are left by passersby, tokens of peace.

I see former president Trump is saying they will Shoot Shoplifters as they leave the store if he becomes President again. So yeah we will be throwing out the constitution then. You would no longer have a right to a trial before a jury of your peers. If the sentence for shoplifting is Death, what about embezzlement or Rape?

I got the bear for a while earlier. I was going to say how someone was outside shooting up someone's house and how I'll be glad to move. The bear didn't care. Holy shit! When are you moving andi9899 ? You need to be out of there like yesterday.! Girl! That happens all the time. It'll probably happen again before I move out next weekend.

Because my maturity level is that of a 10 yo I brought home the head from the pinata from my family reunion yesterday. It is now in T2's bed with her. I have already sent a picture of the two of them to T1.

I need to get moving on all the cleaning and organizing things I didn't do yesterday. I cooked bacon in the oven and I'm happy to say the new stove is better insulated and it didn't set off the smoke detector. With the old one I'd have to soak up some of the grease about halfway through. I let it go to see since DH was gone getting my coffee. He gets all kinds of angry about it. I mean it was annoying but not something to be angry about. We have a fan over the stove but it's not properly vented to the outside so it does nothing but move the air around.

Dinner was good, concert was great, this morning was better. 😉
Now I need to get moving and get groceries while most people around here are in church.

I am feeling so much better. The coughing is only happening when I'm awake and it's not a 20 or 30 minute ordeal. Fever is gone.
I do tire easily. Naps are down from 4-5 hours to about 2 hours in length. Normal nap is 1 hour. I measure things by how long I nap.

I'm so glad I got everything planted yesterday. We had a wicked thunderstorm last night with a lot of rain. My poor little dog was trying to burrow under me! I have a fairly lazy Sunday on tap and I have a feeling there is a movie with a nap in my future.

I don't know where to start, everything needs cleaned. My big cat is asleep on my foot an leg and I always hate bothering them, but I will.
Ok, will start with DD and I eating something, than make up hubs and my bed, and get dressed. I came in this morning at 10 or so and hubs was sound asleep in his recliner, he sits there listening to the news on Sunday but generally isn't asleep. I've noticed the last few days he is falling asleep more, that worries me. He comes in from doing some chore and says I'm really tired.
He took the fridge to the neighbors so that is gone. DD said I can clean things out of her closet in the bottom and give them away too!! We have a church that it appears needs clothing, toys, and everything, that sounds like they are taking them south to the mountain communities. Lots of poor folks down there that can use them. But I am going to try and sell some stuff first I think. I never have before, just gave.
I'm usually fairly organized but since coming home end of August, I just can't get it together again. I have not really cleared up anything, just hit it here and there. What a mess and this isn't me at all. My thoughts are scattered and nothing is getting done, jeez.
Ok having said that, I need to dive in.

Did a bike ride today - not normal, but need to postpone running until the Baker's cyst is removed from my knee Thursday. Trimmed the hedges, since I was already sweaty. Good thing. It's started raining shortly after I finished. Fixed French toast and fresh sliced strawberries for breakfast. Laundry and dishes are done. Floors are swept and rugs vacuumed. This is supposed to be our last mostly rainy day and things should start to dry out, so the back lawn will get mowed tomorrow. DH is have fried shrimp and beer,-battered fries tonight (McCain's were on sale this week!). I got some whole wheat pasta and will make that for myself with fresh-cracked black pepper, freshly-grated Parmesan, olive oil, butter and toasted walnuts.

The wifi keeps dropping the posts I'm trying to do from my phone. Yet I'm on it posting from here?? I even turned the TV off. We are supposed to have a strong signal so I don't understand. It is so frustrating living out here with electronics at times, damn.
I even tried posting without pictures and wouldn't post, just sits there and churns.

Resume and cover letter are done. Just need to do a final review and submit. That went super quick, about an hour or so.

I’ve been sick since Monday morning, but I still worked all week. I’d just get home and lay in the couch until bedtime. I took a COVID test on Tuesday, but it wasn’t that. Just a wicked cold. I’ve gone through a Costco version of box of day and night NyQuil.
I’m definitely feeling better today.
Yesterday was pumpkin patch day with DS1 and Miss Grandbaby. Today is golfing with DD2 and her boyfriend.

DD1 and I had a fruitful shopping outing. I was amused. I showed DD1 a dress and said "that shape would be stunning on you," DD1 replied "I hate it." We found two options, but they need some altering. That's one of tomorrow's projects. She is getting ready at a friends house, which makes me feel a little sad. However, I am grateful she wanted to go shopping with me this afternoon. Lots of girls were getting dresses with friends or by themselves.
I highly recommend 5 Days at Memorial, on apple tv. 7 episodes, well worth it. I am actually tired of knitting and watching tv. I'd stitch, but hotf lash is making me all sweaty and I don't want to touch my needlework when I'm sweaty.
I have to go fetch DD1. Then I fetch DS. I miss 95% of having children in the 0-18yo range. Clothes Shopping with them is part of the 5% I don’t miss.

I'm beat. I got ds printer working. I'm not sure that I get the street cred I deserve but I suppose that's being a parent. azucena - the printer is awesome! Thank you for the recommendation! Dc and I went to the gym and I did 20 minutes of rowing. Doesn't seem like it should be that much, but it was the hardest I've pushed myself since the surgery. Then a trip to goodwill for Halloween costumes, grocery store, and taking ds out to get paint so he can paint his newly made mini. I need to call my parents and then I'm ready for a tv/movie night. I find rowing to be quite challenging. I haven’t gone past 15 minutes in over a year.

i got it I rebooted my modem and it asked for the password, so did that too. I was able to post some clothing, doubt it sells, but can try. I have really good, gently used clothes, in multi sizes, LOL!

I'm sitting out on the deck, soaking in all the bright sun and streaming stuff on my laptop. the sun feels fantastic, and I actually ate some breakfast today. yay!
I went looking for that Women Talking movie on Prime, and found 80 for Brady first. so of course I watched that (HIGHLY recommend, it was very well put together) and then it said next up was Ticket to Paradise - George Clooney and Julia Roberts, I totally wanted to see that. so that's going to be next.
I think I'll tackle Women Talking another day. that's too heavy for where my head's at right now.

I started to mop, the bucket was leaking all over, so had to get a towel for that water before I even started and change buckets, interruptions put me backwards again. Jeez
