Yes I worry about being off my cholesterol pills for 3 months. To me not a good idea, especially since my liver tests came back normal. But I will wait till we go back its only a few more weeks and if its normal again will ask him about DD and I going back on them. Our cholesterol levels have been perfect and hate to change that. But the side ache I had all the time is no longer there.
Hard to face side effects when some drug is also doing its job. And this is the only one I have been able to take that does not cause me excruciating bone and joint pain, Nextilzet.

Pink Cashmere Like my friend said, her dad may not be in a rehab center with both sides paralyzed, not able to use either hand, etc. if he had taken those medications instead of playing games with them and hiding them. She was shocked when she found the pills on the floor. I can imagine that she was shocked when she found the pills. But it’s not much different from how Mr. Messy use to get mad at Mister for trying to make him take the prescribed meds for his heart condition, the blood clot in his lungs, and his high blood pressure. Never mind the meds for diabetes, and Mister trying to feed him heart healthy foods and food that wouldn’t make his diabetes worse. And it didn’t matter at all when Mister would tell Mr. Messy that it was not fair to him for Mr. Messy to not take the meds and risk ending up in even worse shape, with even more serious health issues that he assumed Mister would take care of him with. Mr. Messy didn’t care. He didn’t want to take his meds and he wanted to eat whatever he wanted to eat, period. And regardless of the consequences. And even if that meant an immediate consequence was that he shit on himself and made a mess for Mister to clean up. I hope and pray that I am not EVER that selfish and uncaring with my own children. I am not saying your friend’s Dad is totally like Mr. Messy either, I’m just saying that there are similarities in them not taking their meds properly and there being consequences due to that.

Got three loaves of quick bread made for breakfasts for the kids this week. We made our halloween cut out cookies today. We'll freeze and decorate closer to halloween. I think our weekends are going to be booked fairly solidly until then. We have like 2 option for going to the pumpkin farm before Halloween.
I was able to get a nap in, and watch one quarter of football. And I took the missy to the park. It was a run the dishwasher 3 times day today. I should have made some goodies for the young man. I'll do that tomorrow and Tuesday. I am currently out of mixing bowls.
I don't want to go back to work.

Yeah, Pink I know. I have been eating pretty healthy as with the med you just didn't crave that stuff. And I eat fast food once in awhile but not often. Just like yesterday, I bought cheese burgers for hubs and DD, she only ate half and salad for me. It doesn't bother me at all. The pears today were packed in their own juice and I didn't drink it. But everything I have read says without the meds you will regain the weight. Since my feet won't take it, I will likely be back on it. But I think the lowest dose will work and also giving my body a break will help. Also dumped stuff from the fridge, so its in good shape now. We quit way early today, but I have been doing back to back laundry. Now I will need to clear the table, everyone is fed. Hubs gave a neighbor guy a whole bunch of scrap metal he had. He said I have been saving that stuff but don't need it. He is even giving him an old plow and going to give him metal from an area that was a before we moved here. There is an old frame of something, a roller and other stuff in the holler. So I know he would only be doing this if he is thinking ahead. He said he filled the back of his pickup truck full. That will get the guy a few dollars when he sells it. I told hubs I need to start letting go also. But I am going to have a sale, I won't make much, and what is left I will donate. They are starting to rebuild Our Fathers Arms that the tornado destroyed. They give everything free to people plus had the food bank there. I pulled out Halloween decorations the other day. I hope to get them out before the week is over. I also bought 2 rotating lights for the house, one of ghosts and the other various Halloween images, think they will be neat. I need to clear the table before I start reading. Even with salads, I know for me, before I got on my healthy eating kick, by the time I got through making a salad palatable to me, it wasn’t that much better for me than eating something I would’ve preferred instead. Except for the fact that at least I ate some leafy greens. Have you ever considered working with a dietician? My Mom STILL needs to lose enough weight to have a hip replacement done, and a year or so ago, her PCP referred her to a dietician, and I ASSume, that maybe given the reason it was needed, it would’ve been covered under Medicare. But I’m not sure, and if she had been interested and willing to work with a dietician and follow the advice, hell, I would’ve paid for it myself if her insurance didn’t cover it. But unfortunately, my Mom isn’t interested in making the necessary changes to improve her health and lose enough weight to have the surgery on her hip that she needs, she’d rather keep doing what she’s doing and whine and cry and bitch and moan about her health issues and her pain, than even try to do what she can to help herself, so she never even talked to the dietician her PCP referred her to. But maybe a dietician can help you, and help you plan meals that can help you lose weight or maintain the weight loss you’ve already achieved, and help you come up with a diet that also is anti inflammatory, to possibly help with some of your pain issues, and maybe even help with your lack of energy, and just overall help you learn what kind of diet and foods can help with a lot of things you are dealing with, or at least not make those things worse than they have to be. You have always come across to me as such a vibrant person, I would hate to see your health decline if something as simple as a real change in diet (simple, but I KNOW, not necessarily easy), would be of great help to you, and help you keep your pizazz. Everything I’ve said to you about this, I’ve said with love, because I care about you.

I'm doing ok so far, but concerned and worrying. My eating has changed a lot but need to stick with it. The biggest issue I always have had is quantity control.
Now I'm satisfied with a little of this and that, will it last? And I thank you for your thoughtfulness.
We have all done better, even hubs has lost 30 pounds.
Today I was able to squat and get back up, haven't been able to do that for a long time.
DD's neurologist told her for headaches and better sleep take Vitamin B and magnesium. I read up on it and sounds like it wouldn't hurt me either so also started on them. I didn't realize how important magnesium is and since they are both supposed to help with energy I'm hoping in time they will. She said 400 mg of each.

My DH isn’t feeling well tonight. He was cold and clammy and dizzy - I hope it’s just bc he over did it today, didn’t eat enough and didn’t drink enough water. he’s now in bed sleeping, which is unusual for him. I’m supposed to leave tomorrow for a work trip, but if he’s not better, I may not be going.

I hope whatever it is is temporary for both your sakes.

DH said he's okay with the trunks if something else leaves.
Since they are also cedar inside I'll likely use them for out of season clothes.
We need to get a dumpster next spring. Planning on going half in with dad so he can clean his basement out too.

It seems like everything just hit at once.

Can you send me pictures of those steamer trunks? Are they made of wood? You can post them here, or I can PM you my email address to send me pictures. I’m not making any promises, but I might be willing to pay to take a couple off your hands.

I bought a 60" posable skeleton at Target yesterday. He's sitting and waving on one of our rocking chairs on our front porch. He already scared my neighbor this morning. His name is Geoff.

I can't see a picture.
Finally quit for today. Dishes washing, last load of clothes washing, they are cleaning rags.
Filled our pill boxes for the week. Fed my babies for the night and shut them in the bedroom.
Watching more episodes of The Colony and then going to read a bit. Need to go to bed earlier tonight, have to get up at 8 in the morning to meet with the inspector at 9. Than 9:30 for the realtor
Than I hope to clean in the upstairs tomorrow afternoon.

I'm home from a fantastic show - The Verve Pipe and Toad The Wet Sprocket. they all sounded phenomenal, the acoustics in the venue are great. and I was home in 15min. I'm curled up with Punk, but LD is pacing up and down the stairs for some reason. next time he comes up, I'm gonna put a baby gate in front of the stairs. 🤦♀️

The picture finally came up.
Pink, hubs and I are having a LOT of discussions about what we need to do, but we disagree, so I'm looking at the ramifications of the end results of many of our discussions trying to come up with how to handle things. Believe me when I say we are having big time disagreements on this stuff.
I don't know what we are going to do yet, first we have to sell everything to see where we are. But believe me we will know what we can or cannot afford. And if we get out of houses what I think we can, we will be more than fine.
Hubs is getting a lot of odd ideas about things and I'm trying to keep him on the straight and narrow. I won't even go into all of it. But he is starting to worry me. He somehow thinks we don't need much to live on. maybe he is seeing his mortality. One minute he is talking about moving, the next he isn't about to move. At least we are on the same page about selling rentals as I told him I'm just not dealing with renters any longer. I am totally burned out on that sh** after the last two. And I'm not about to help anyone but family, our immediate family anymore.
We have got to wait until Oct 13th and I'm not sure we will have answers that day. But I'm going to stop any discussion with him about what we need to do. After this week I'm going to start organizing stuff of mine to get rid of and go from there. He doesn't mind about that anyway. All I hear of late is don't buy this or don't buy that, we don't need it. Even multiples of grocery items.
I will handle it, but it is beginning to get on my nerves a bit, good thing I'm tough as nails.

It depends on which one of us makes it longer, and no one knows that. But I know exactly what I will do. I just hope we both continue to live and I guess have differences of opinions.
Good night or morning all.

Good morning, invisible savant sylphs of Y Ma'am, hiding from the Err Bear. Welcome to Monday. I hope today brings you unexpected great news and bolsters you for the rest of the week. I hope all is well with your DH, flamingo . We're supposed to get yet more rain today. It is not raining this minute but should start again right around dawn, at 6:30. DD and I are going to be moving some of her Stuff to her new digs. Doing what we can before tomorrow. We will also move some things, like wooden bar stools, out of the house into the garage, making space for her own furniture. Yesterday it was drizzling heavily and turned to all out rain at what would have been sunrise. I got one good shot of a tiny dinosaurs, the ubiquitous herring gull giving me the stink eye:

Seems like all my DH needed was a good nights sleep. He basically slept round the clock and he woke up raring to go this morning. Thank goodness. He missed dinner last night so he’s eating everything he can his hands on this morning, which is probably good for him. But really, I’m very grateful. Given all my family’s health issues this year, I’m grateful this was just a blip for DH.

Up are ready to go meet the inspector. I slept poorly last night. Didn't go to bed until very late, than couldn't go to sleep.
It was one of those nights when I did drop off, I was packing, having yard sales. Trying to decide over and over to keep something or not, cleaning, and you know how dreams are nothing really gets finished. So would wake up and than the mind would wonder off into something else like what I will have for dinner and on and on. So far I'm not tired but I will be.

I'm feeling ready to work both jobs today but could not sleep last night. So frustrating. Hindsight I should have just gotten up and tackled emails. Sleep just seemed so close.

Just put a Costco order in to be delivered by 1:00 today. I don't know who said it, but I am very grateful to whoever it was that noted organic milk lasts much longer than non-organic. It's a difference of over a month. So I can get milk without concern that it will turn.
