Ugh. I'm going to have to go to bed at a reasonable hour for the first time in a while. Not a fan.

I'm mot feeling so hot tonight. I think you can reschedule up to 24 hours so by about 3 tomorrow afternoon, I need to see how I'm feeling. This is odd, I'm having all kinds of gas with it and having trouble burping. I searched hi and lo and finally found some gas relief pills in the gun cabinet. I also threw away a bunch of old pills, more needs to go in there but not tonight. I keep meds on one side of it. I never totally got over what I had in Washington last visit and still get coughing fits at times.
The kitties are so funny. I brought up a suitcase and it has those wheels that turn around. One cat was on top and the other would push it, didn't take much to do it. Even hubs got a good laugh he said look they are pushing it around the kitchen.
I finished my skirt/culottes, it came out good but I don't know where I will ever find a blouse to go with those colors. Kind of a gold, different color of red and some variation of blue, the fabric came from Indonesia, wish there had been enough for a blouse or top too. I have the PJ's about half done. I was going to finish but didn't feel the best so came up. I did get the hem, neck, and sleeve cuffs pinned. I stitch those and will only have the sleeves to set in. I may go back downstairs and do that real quick. Only took me about 20 minutes to do the sewing I did.
I am turning off of this show its even too scary for me. It's called White Sky, giving me the creeps.
Kitty was by my lap, he heard something and I started to pet him, scared him and he jumped into the air and took off, LOL.
I think the one gas relief has helped, may take one more, says 1 or 2 of them. Boy that hurts when you have gas and can't belch.

I'm going down, will get my PJ's to where I only have to thread the elastic in tomorrow, Hopefully and will pin and ease the sleeves in tonight. I do have a machine up there but no serger and really need one for the seams or have to do the rolled seams and stitch kind of like blue jeans seams to keep stuff from raveling. I can't remember the name of that procedure but that's how you made things to keep them from fraying before sergers.
I have belched several times more and that has helped for now, may just sleep in my recliner.

Sad. I'd be feeling the same way he was. Is there a division of wildlife, or rangers there, he can call and ask for advice? There are, but nobody is picking up. The government is warning people to stay indoors. We have 115 fires burning. Montreal air quality ranks worst in the world as officials urge people to stay indoors globalnews.ca/news/9792167/air-quality-warning-quebec-fires/I'm so sorry.

Good morning, adventuring and adventuresome invisipeeps. Welcome to Monday. I hope this day goes smoothly and includes a smoothie if that is your wont. I just hope it goes better than last Monday, which was really a difficult day for a hundred small reasons. Today I have got to finish and publish my website. This section is for photography; I'm going to add a writer's section, too. Need to do some work on writing. Also need to brush Franklin the Dog. As of last Friday his annual checkup gave him a clean bill of health. The 3 lumps he has are fatty lipomas, benign; the bloodwork shows exposure to Lyme disease but I opted to monitor him rather than put him on antibiotics. He does seem to have slowed down in recent months but I'm glad relieved to hear he's really okay. It could be Lyme that's caused him some problems. His teeth are in great shape for an almost-8 yo dog. Yesterday morning was densely foggy, then it was misty in the late afternoon. Here is a view of the harbor in the late day sun, with a stinkpot (motorboat) going past the lighthouse in the harbor.

I've been up for over an hour and I've gotten nothing done. Seriously trying to figure out a schedule, and nothing is coming to mind now.

currently sitting outside, before it gets too oppressive today. it's pretty humid, but it's not hot yet. last night when I went to pick up my takeout order, it was so humid that fog had settled in. it's almost there rn.

I like the cookbook I just bought. It's value to me is it'll be awesome for days I'm lazy and trying to talk myself into fast food. No more than 6 ingredients and only 4 or less cooking steps. I have probably 99% of all the ingredients in the house most of the time and it gives me ideas to use stuff up. It'll be real handy come school and dance when I get overwhelmed and executive dysfunction kicks in. Link? This sounds great for us as I'm trying to get the girls cooking more of our meals.

Ds turns 14 this week. Family and friend party this week to get ready for, but dh's family won't come so no stress on that piece.
Only 1 kid can spend the night, but my 2nd vacuum broke in a month and Suzanne can only do so much. Ill have to figure that out.
I'm worried about dh. His family is always tough for a myriad of reasons, but he is worried his mom may have had a stroke and that his dad's controlling disposition is spiraling. I think I had some idea of what it would be like to be in the sandwich generation taking care of parents and kids (and we're not there yet) but it's shocking each time we start to see it come up.

So sleepy. Woke up at 3 and was unable to get back to sleep. Just as I thought I might DH's alarm went off. I got up, but after he left tried to take a quick catnap in the recliner which did not happen.

So glad the tree guy cancelled today. They are now planning Wednesday, when DH will be home. I think there are 10 trees coming down in this first batch. I had DH mark them yesterday, just in case.
When DH talked to him last night he was contemplating calling in sick. They guy was supposed to text back last night and did not. So DH was in a major snit this morning. It did not help that the operators on shift today actively look for reasons to shut the machines down and run maintenance ragged. DH was so negative this morning and I got tired of hearing about it. FIND A NEW JOB. I am sorry that you will lose 6 weeks of vacation, but you have only used 1 day so far this year.
Plus I told him before he even got out of bed that we have the potential for severe storms, even tornados, today. So I am guessing the tree guy was playing it safe.

Yesterday DD(24) was supposed to work until 1. She showed up at 10, where she found me wearing a t shirt that did not cover my bare butt. 5 minutes earlier and she would have gotten the full show. If that does not incintificise her to get on the moving out, I don't what will. 🤣

I was looking at flights to NJ and AA was offering flights to Orlando for $150. Yeah right. You couldn't pay me enough to go to FL right now.

Making progress. Dentist on Friday pulled the wisdom teeth and did the temporary crown, which motivated me nicely to never ever need another one Still can’t chew on that side and no stamina this weekend. Plus all they gave me was tylenol 3, none of the good stuff Today I finally got plates for my inherited car, after 40 min of the dmv treating me like a criminal. Another thing off the to do list, although I still have to get it inspected…didn’t want to do that until it was legal to drive it over to the mechanic. Next up, get everything ready for our trip to the PNW this weekend. Need to call at least one more person to set up a meeting while we’re out there…need to schedule well check and dentist for DS too.

There is a lot of damage from the storm yesterday. DD was at a grocery store near my house when it started. The lights went out at the store, but customers stayed out until the store management finally told them to leave. By the time she headed back to my house, it was over and she said trees were down everywhere, a lot of them blocking streets, and a lot of people were outside all over everywhere, looking at the damage around their homes. One man had a huge tree that fell on all 3 of his cars. She said he was just standing there shaking his head and looking pitiful. There are also a lot of people without power. From looking at FB posts and pictures on the news, it’s really bad. Huge trees fell on houses, large branches tore through roofs, trees took down power lines. I’m not really surprised, because I was in the garage with the door up, watching it. I was shocked that the basketball goal fell over. The bottom is full of idk what, to weight it down, and there’s more heavy stuff on top of the base. I can’t move it, but that’s not saying much lol. A couple of big branches fell off our tree, but they fell out in the yard and didn’t damage anything. The deck got rearranged. I’m glad I let the umbrella down and moved it in front of the chimney, because it fell over. The sofa and chairs, fell over, the wood screen with the planters at the bottom moved, the grill moved halfway across the deck, my lemon tree and heavy pot with rosemary in it fell over. And there’s debris from the tree all over the deck. I JUST cleaned the deck Saturday afternoon. Oh and part of the remnant of a fence along the back of our property came down. But none of that even comes close to what other people are dealing with. I’m just sharing what happened here, not complaining. I’ll take all of that over the serious damage a lot of other people have. I saw something on FB where a lot of people called in to work today because they had to deal with damage to their property.

I'm glad you got no serious damage, Pink Cashmere, and that you didn't get hurt. Falling trees are no joke. And, getting them removed can take a long time, not to mention some tree services jack up their prices after a big storm like that. Did your neighbor with the nice cars in their driveway (the ones that thieves keep trying to steal) get any car damage?

I am feeling better this morning. Got up at 8 and have been leisurely doing stuff and not running myself ragged. Am spacing out my regular pills and the sulpha drug. Next year I will go to get my esophagus stretched again. They could not do it this year, said too much food in my stomach. That is where these problems are coming from, stuff goes down so far and feels like its stuck and than I swallow air a lot, so problems, but this was the worst episode, really hurt. Have to chew well and be careful. My mom had the same thing and stomach acid gets into the esophagus and can cause Barrett's esophagus. Poor lady really suffered with it and back then no such relief was available. Docs told me to take the acid reducer pantaprozole and not to discontinue it to keep down issues with it. And I'm sure keeping gas X on hand or something similar.
I have our clothes packed and some shoes. Put a change of clothes in our carry on, you never know could spill stuff or rip something.
Finished my PJ's and like everything else they are short. Won't wear them if little guy stays overnight, will wear others.
All our pills have been counted and making sure we have enough for 2 months, so that is done. I swear we will have half a carry on of pills. Probably think we are druggies, suppose we are in a way. I'm doing laundry again, why do we have so much dirty clothes.Found out there is a CVS on Black Lake Blvd, not far from the house by the mall. It's the only one in Olympia, my pharmacist said I can get anything she needs from there, so that is good to know. I may be able to do the same with Walmart, but neither of us need anything else far as I know.
Just had a small can of yellowfin Tuna in olive oil for lunch, I like it better than any other tuna I've bought. And I just don't like tuna in water. I'm looking forward to eating fish and chicken while up there. Also lighter foods and baked items.
I'm sure by tomorrow any urgency will be gone, that will be 5 pills by than.
And I took think its strange DD and I both got a UTI. I rarely get one and she has only had 2 or 3 in her whole life. Have no explanation for that.

My Mom always believed cranberry juice helped prevent UTI's, countrygirl2. She never had problems with them until she had to be moved into a nursing home. I tend to drink cranberry-grape juice, because for me it doesn't taste quite as tart. Just a suggestion...

I have stocked up kitty food, hubs is thinking Tigger is eating all the food and Smoke not getting much. He just backs away from Tig and won't fight him for it. He was meowing like crazy, so I took him to the bedroom and gave him a can of food and closed the door, he ate the whole thing. Hubs said he will separate them when he feeds them. Smokey is not that heavy and Tig is getting bigger, he is a glutton. Hubs will take good care of my babies. Hubs said they are getting ready for us to leave, that Tig is already loving on him, LOL! Yeah he knows who will feed him.
Smoke was helping me sew, laying at the back of the machine trying to pull the pins out as I sewed the seam. Wouldn't let him do that on something good but this was just PJ's. He was also after my scissors and just purring all over the place, he finally went to sleep.
Need to clean litter boxes and bowls and vac their room. Things are in pretty good shape, so doing routine stuff and resting.
Hubs is tearing out carpet, he said I need to come look at the floors at the rent house, he said its awful. Said when they made the raised ceilings and spackled didn't clean any of the stuff off the floors and just carpeted over it. Said they are dirty. He makes sure they are vacced and cleaned before new flooring goes in. Must be tough working, for lazy people.
