Yes, DD has traditional medicare and medicaid here too so she can get most any treatments she needs. Of course, medicare is the same all over but her medicaid might not be so a huge factor in us relocating.
And my insurance if fab, I have medicare and Plan F which pays for anything, deductibles and all. And now I have Cigna for drug coverage and it has lowered my costs near $400 a month. I sure hate to go elsewhere, and possibly lose these plans, they are worth a ton of money to us. Hubs is ok too, he has Plan G, wish he has kept F, but it's not bad.

Had to google SSDD!! Well DUDH - I use SOSDD so lack of O threw me off!! Sorry your day is starting off SHI##Y Hopefully things will be looking up soon!! That's all Thanks. it's all good. I'm tired of the grind. Tired of dealing with adults that think they are above following basic directions. Preach! I would like to raise people who consider themselves above basic duties and the people who above them who encourage and support that attitude. I am in a fucking mood today thanks to work. I engaged in some Old Market retail therapy. Probably should not have but I scored four really nice vintage items this round. The white Jean jacket fills a summer wardrobe gap since I'm not allowed to have exposed shoulders at work. Was tempted to ask if it's like middle school and boys be horny but I decided I want to keep my job.

DS was born on the autism spectrum. He was always so fearful as a child....wouldn't talk to anyone, always sat the in corner and wouldn't even get out of the car when I'd drive him to his little schoolmates' birthday parties. Absolutely refused to talk to anyone he didn't know really well, and wouldn't make eye contact with people. I always worried about what would happen to him when he grew up. How would he make his way in the world?
He had an appointment for a test in nuclear medicine yesterday. When he got there, there was no record of his appointment, and they told him to go home. Well, now, he'll rip you a new one if you screw with him....in both official languages. He got his test. I think he'll be fine.

Some information on the Botox for migraines. It's 32 separate injections in face, head, neck and top of shoulders. I'm not a person with needle issues but it's a lot.
If it's being done in a doctor's office setting, make sure you wear a tank top under whatever else for easy access to all the areas they need to inject. My hair is long so I had that issue getting it up out of the way but loose enough for them to find the spots covered by hair.
I've done both in a regular office room and in more of a clinic/procedure room where I was given a gown.
It did work for me but the day or so after was rough. Miss high pain tolerance did learn to schedule for as late in the afternoon as possible bc going back to work after was not possible.

No exposed shoulders can be a religious thing too - ask me how I know.
Well, I'm home alone for the weekend. It's just me & Gizmo - might hang out with John's ex-wife and a friend/ colleague of hers tomorrow night. Very strange I know but she's the closest thing to a friend I have here in this desert.

I have my Rain Man moments, though. but as a kid, girls weren't looked at for autism, and I was acing the scales academically. I definitely still have this gene, though. haha

Or she's just doing it because she can. Or maybe she was feeling pressure to? Maybe the mom feels like she has to prove something by behaving like that. I will admit, when we watched the first part, I did a double take, and then I was like ...cool...moving on. Yesterday, the kids' school had a meeting. Part of it was a discussion to the changes in curriculum. One parent repeatedly asked questions about testing and placement. It wasn't a need. Administrators and teachers amply addressed the concern. That caused our meeting to go over by a half hour.
Think about that. Feeling that you are so important that your issues (which really aren't even issues, because folks spent a lot of time explaining that your kids will be accommodated) entitle you to waste waste other people's time. This parent behaved like that because they can, not because they should. It has nothing to do about the kids. Or being sheltered or not. It's about the selfishness of the parent. True. Meanwhile I'm sitting over here watching stuff from when I was a kid going "Holy crap! You let me watch this?" And you're telling me this movie over here is too delicate for children? I gave my brother night terrors because he watched the cartoon version of Tales of the Crypt with me once on Saturday morning. And *I* was that got in trouble. Umm excuse me but based on recent events shouldn't it have been YOUR job to monitor what we were watching and complained to NBC about what they allowed children to watch? Now I want to ask my dad that and see what response I get. This just reminded me of a tik tok I saw. Honestly, Gen X is lucky to have made it to adulthood. www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRE2e6cL/?t=1

And, in words I never thought would spring forth from my keyboard, Cocaine Bear is very good. It uses every possible stereotype and a good dash of slapstick to make a movie that is funny while putting forward some interesting perspectives on love and loyalty I may have to watch it then. My dad said it was so stupid so I didn't watch it.

What a difference a letter makes. Just saw the following in a Facebook Instant Pot group. I would like to use Manuel as well for all my recipes...and house cleaning, yard work, pool boy, massages etc.
I use Manuel for all my recipes… soup, meat, stews, rice. Never have used the other buttons and so far perfect recipes.

I knew today was going to be rough and I guess yay for being right.
I know my sales team temperament to know it's always "it's all good" right until we're ready to burn everything down. So I can roll with that.
It's harder to roll with underwriters who write 1 thing but mean something else.

Y'all I went to boxing tonight and the instructor hurt himself. I feel so bad for him. He was demonstrating an exercise and I thought he was lifting too much weight. He's pretty fit, so I've seen him lift pretty heavy before. His bicep snapped. I didn't hear it pop, but he did. He left class and went to the hospital. I hope he's OK. I'm pretty sure that if it's torn that's going to be something that's going to take a while to come back from. ooh....I saw something similar in a boot camp workout 10-12 years ago. our instructor was trying to show us how to do a new drill, except she was cold. she was halfway across the field and we all heard this loud POP! when her calf muscle tore mid-step. it was horrible, and it did take her a long time to come back from. I hope your instructor pulls through okay. When I worked as an administrative assistant at one of the local colleges, my office was right outside the gym. I'm working and I knew I had heard the instructor scream in agony as they were playing a pick up game of hoops before their class on officiating. Luckily, the college also taught Athletic Training and one happened to be in his office. He went running out and determined it was a pulled hamstring. He dismissed the class and told me to call the Chair to let him know he was taking him to the hospital. We didn't see him for quite a while and when we did it was on one of those carts. He was also the baseball coach and had to coach that season with the cart. I ran into a baseball player several years later and he told me the Coach told them he absolutely would not participate in pick up games in any sport.

I have now completed 150 of the 160 squats I have to do today. Tomorrow is a rest day. The assignment for the 30th is 250. I am not sure if I will actually keep raising the # of squats I do each day as it is hard on my knees. I might just stay around this level. Maybe finish out with some sit ups and push ups.
Ran home on my lunch and brought out my plants. I need to add planting flowers to my weekend agenda. We are having a family cookout tomorrow for my FIL's B-day. He is going to be 81 next week.

Made it to the hotel. While checking in, the clerk made a comment about everybody being from Virginia today. I saw my parents vehicle in the lot, so I knew they were already here. According to him, they are already done with sister. She got out of the car and into the hotel and left her trash in the backseat. Not surprising - in her vehicles you have to push all of the empty bottles and cups into her driveway to find the floorboard, or your feet will never touch it. And parents are exact opposite with their vehicles.
They don't know I'm here yet. I think I'll keep it that way for a little longer.

Why is it strange? Is John your SO? He's something, currently unsure as to exactly what. I like SSO for "Semi- Significant Other," he prefers ISO for "Insignificant Other." He considers us married, I'm like, Whoa boy, not so fast. On a good day, I'm committed through next Thursday. We've been together for nine years in September and do love each other but I really hate it here. We are on the Arizona Strip, literally three houses from the Utah border - I liked him better on the Central Coast of California but then again I think I like almost everything better there. I've been quite sick and St. George, Utah has excellent medical care with great access. The retirement population helps as does huge growth.

As expected, boss said to take as much time as I need and a coworker reached out to see if he could help with any pending items. Very blessed to have landed where I have.

I’m sorry, but your description of your relationship made me chuckle. Where you live now, was it intended to be permanent when you moved there, or are you planning to move back to California? I’ve never really felt like the area I live in where I’m supposed to be, and that feeling gets stronger as the crime rates get worse. So I understand not really liking where you live, for whatever reasons. And I’m sorry to read that you’ve been really sick. Access to great medical care is wonderful, but of course it would be better if you didn’t need it in the first place.

I used the 3+ hours that I spent giving the make-up AP Government & Politics test this afternoon making a list of all the projects that I need to do around the house. It is quite a list and is organized by rooms and/or areas. Sitting there, I felt like I could get at least a half-dozen of those things accomplished once this danged thing was over. I came home and did ONE. Admittedly, it was one of the physically tougher things on the list: remove the paper box since there is no longer a physical paper to be delivered even if I wanted it delivered. It was mounted on a bracket to the metal mailbox post, which I plan on painting on the first day it doesn't rain. I have already replaced the mailbox, which wouldn't latch. The screws had rusted until they were removable. I used WD40. I used pliers. I used a drill. AND I FINALLY DID IT! It was a combination of all those things and simply wrestling with it until it came loose. But that was it for my energy. Lol. I might replace the front porch light bulb if it comes back.

Neighborhood fence war boiled over last night when Neighbor 1 (gin-fueled) launched a profane verbal assault on Neighbor 2 who was standing in his driveway watering plants. Neighbor 2 is not putting up with that stuff and told Neighbor 1 where to stuff it. Neighbor 1 said Neighbor 2 should quit spending $$ to go visit his and his wife's only grandchild and pay 100% of the fence replacement cost. It went rapidly downhill from there and I got the call from Neighbor 2 who needed to vent a bit, to put it mildly.

I'm doing laundry. I have a party to go to later. Right now I look crazy, but I'm going to be a total catfish later. Of course it's going to be cold tonight when I wear the corset I bought.

Y’all already know I love Mr. and Mrs. T. The house on the other side of ours isn’t in our cove, it faces another street, but the very back of their backyard runs along one side of our property. We (I) have literally only had 1 conversation with them since we moved here almost 4 years ago. They keep to themselves and we don’t bother them.

We (I) have literally only had 1 conversation with them since we moved here almost 4 years ago. They keep to themselves and we don’t bother them. It's somewhat unclear whose fence it is and it's been there for 30+ years. And Texas law says that, unless there's a prior WRITTEN agreement for maintenance of a common fence, no one has to spend a dime. No one else around here has fence issues except Neighbor #1 who is so virulent that the woman on the other side of her put barbed wire on top of their common fence to keep her out. Yes, you read that right. Neighbor #1 is bad and getting worse, and that's in a neighborhood with a wide tolerance for crazy stuff. Mostly, we work it out based on who needs the fence and who has $$. We've paid for all three sides around our property and only one neighbor shared in the cost by bartering her skills in stenciling and carpentry. ETA to add: I think it's more challenging when we live so close to one another. We have 10 feet between our properties, so yes we pretty much see, hear and smell everything everyone does. That's why it takes a LOT of respect to be here, especially as here changes ethnicities, languages, and cultural expectations.
