My only goal is to keep putting one foot in front of the other. Pondering the difference between depression and good old fashioned burnout, and wondering how much it matters.

I make my own daily accountability sheets so I can change them, periodically. Like the current one has a block for shower... because COVID isolation again and winter and frankly I will forget and that isn’t good. Vitamin slots, exercise and water slots... always priorities and other tasks...
I’m thinking of making a clip art set that includes just like tons of options for creating your own customizable journal/planner.

I joined Noom, want to lose 20 lbs So far just lots of ‘pep’ writings on the app I looked at recipes but these seemed nice to eat but frankly complicated and doubt I’d make them Logged in breakfast- my usual oatmeal with 1% milk and pack of sweetener
Last summer I swam most days for half hour , when lake closed walked 3 miles most days, down only 5 lbs Hurt my hip and stopped walking gained back the 5 lbs. Hip is ok now but Now weather is freezing, snow just now melted
Only first day so ??

Intermittent fasting was a big help for me with weight loss. I know a few local to me people that had huge success with this.

Lots of ways to do it, I do it daily (skip maybe 1-3 a month) ... eat over 8-10 hours, fast for 14-16. Typically 9/15.

still thinking. I've felt very disconnected from myself/life the past few months. I don't know where I'm going - where I want to go - so how do I get there?
One thing I want to focus on is not looking at a screen while eating. Particularly during the work day, it is difficult with back to back meetings, deadlines, etc. But I think I would be better skipping lunch altogether if I can't take a break than eating while being focused on stress stuff.
I need to step away from checking the news throughout the day, there is really nothing good going on out there, monitoring covid casualties, covid deniers and antivaxxers, the ongoing coup attempt, etc. nothing positive for mental health at all. Maybe just keep informed with a morning sweep of headlines, read a few articles and then done for the day.
Work on sleep hygiene.

I'd like to find some balance with this new job and activities that aren't work. I work out only twice a week and I'd like to incorporate more physical activity into my days. Now that the days are gonna start getting longer, it may be easier to get some outdoor time, too. I want to work on having screen-free time. My computer is ALWAYS on when I'm home so I just need to be home less often--see the item above. I think screen free time is a great idea. My biggest downfall to getting up late is grabbing my phone and checking headlines. So I should make screen free time from 5-7 am. I need to get to the gym 3x a week and I also should lose about 10 lbs. I maintain pretty well if I make it to the gym 3x a week. We will see. I need to declutter and get on a weekly cleaning schedule. My DD has stuff all over my house - she tells me she will not be there forever - so I think she plans to move out soon, but I don't really want her to move out, so que sera.

For weight loss, I don't aim for *weight* loss. I aim for *size* loss. I don't care if I weigh 175lbs or 225lbs because you can be a very fit 225 and you can be a very fat 175. For my fitness goals, I'm aiming to have a waist that is 35 inches or less again. And being smaller than a 40GG bra size would be great also.

As for screen free time, I no longer take my phone to the bedroom to charge overnight. So if I want to use the phone, I have to get up and get the phone in another room.
My screen time tends to stop about 7 PM every evening.

I also need to manage myself better in not talking to DH about work. We work together, and, though not technically, I basically work for him. It's a huge stress on our marriage, and I would prefer we alter the situation. We should be about 18 months out from altering it though.

Covid fat gain saw to that band AND cup increase.

Breast Reduction Surgery is the best thing I ever did for myself... and insurance covered it. I was on the fence when my ob/gyn said she only has ever heard two complaints.... I said, lay them on me ... she replied "why didn't I do it sooner?" and "why didn't I make them smaller".... I said, schedule it. That was like 18 years ago? So much better.

My resolution is to get a handle on my health. I'm slightly overweight so need to start exercising regularly again. Have had a Y membership for the last 20 years but when I had pulmonary embolisms (lung blood clots) 3 years ago, my disciple on exercise went to crap. Since June, have been dealing with vertigo which comes and goes every week despite doing all the rehab exercises. So to help with my goal, going to Mayo for a thorough physical exam and hopefully get some answers besides "your getting old dude" lol

I got a breast reduction 15 years ago and no regrets!! I couldn’t breastfeed my DD a few years later but I was okay with that. I knew that was a possibility before I had done too. Edited: I was a 36DDD before surgery and a 36C after surgery. After DD, I’m a 36D but I’m not sure if it’s baby weight I haven’t lost or just natural.

They're larger because I'm fatter than I was when I was still in the military. No need for surgery here. Just need to get some fat off the bod. I'd be okay if I was back down to a 38FF or smaller, similar to this picture (that isn't me).

I think my resolution for this year will be to get more comfortable with failure. I always take the safest route and covid has finally pushed me out of my comfort zone. I want to keep going with that, have more confidence in trying new things and putting myself out there.

I joined Noom, want to lose 20 lbs So far just lots of ‘pep’ writings on the app What exactly is Noom? I know it deals with weight loss but I don’t understand how and the commercials don’t explain it. No, I haven’t looked the website either. It's an app. It's got your standard food tracking, weight tracking and step tracking. There are short little articles every day, sometimes quizzes. You are connected with a "coach" who you can exchange messages with, and there are group discussion/topics also. Everything is very cheerful, enthusiastic, funny . . . in an irritating way. Or maybe it's just because I had to join it for a work thing that I found the whole thing annoying. jerseygirl , I hope you have a good experience with it!

So, I have heard a lot of mixed things about Noom. Do you know if the coaches have any qualifications? Are they nutritionists or trained counselors or trainers from gyms? Or are they just people who are willing to follow a script? Or is it AI?

So are big breasts a requirement for YM? I'm asking because I wear a 40A/B. You probably didn't know there was such a thing. Lol. Do the cup sizes grow with the band sizes so that a 40B's cup is larger than a 36B's cup? Because I swear I can't fill a B cup in a size 40. I actually took the first step towards mine. One of the FB groups had a poster selling a NIB Fitbit Versa 2 watch. I got it for $75. I can't get an Apple watch because I piggyback off my daughter's plan. This is an Amazon product. I'll probably have to buy earbuds, though, because I can download my Amazon music on it. A-walking here I come! More importantly, though, the first thing I did was buy a pretty rose gold band for $5.99 on Amazon to replace the ugly black band. First things first, you know.

I actually find it really irritating because if I gain weight I got up a band and down a cup.
