I love that one! I can’t find it in stock anywhere though? It’s fairly similar to the first nonworking link, which is the morphe 35c. Also looked at the urban decay ultraviolets, but I think I’d rather have a slightly broader mix to start and play around with some pinks. Ya, the stoned vibes is on there mostly because it looks pretty and sparkly in the pic but probably wouldn’t work too well if I actually tried to use it. Sorry about the links, and also about being too tired to stay up to fix them. Happy 2021, all!

I got the Juvia violets. It goes on really light. You have to do multiple layers to get to the color on the palette. That may work for you. Or not. Just a heads up on that one.

I'm pretty sure I have the Urban Decay violet one. And I got stoned vibes in the vault package when it was half off. I have a couple others too. I need to organize my bathroom in 2021.
I could still play with eyeshadow even with masks.

I'm really unhappy with my hair right now, which is unusual for me. I used to like my hair...I'm really wondering if wearing it in a pony or bun so much during covid had kind of screwed it up. Now every time I actually want to wear it down and look nice (which isn't often right now), it looks awful. I can't get it to do what I need it to do... I've still been getting it highlighted and cut every 9 weeks like normal so it hasn't been completely neglected... Maybe I just need to try some new products. And maybe 2021 will lead me back to some normalcy. Has the texture changed or something? Any damage around the point where the hair tie sits? I’m not much help...even in normal times my hair spends most of its time in a pony or bun and I haven’t been for a cut in over a year now. Getting kinda ugly. I need to bite the bullet and schedule a cut.

My hair hadn't been cut in over a year. It was almost down to my butt. I think I wasn't using enough conditioner for the longer length and it was getting tangled and coming out. I finally got a new hairdresser and had 6 inches cut off. I've had better highlights but at least it's more manageable. And maybe post pandemic my old hairdresser will go back to work.
And really it's clipped up in a bun or in a ponytail 95% of the time anyway.

21 day of beauty is my jam! Also the spring/fall haul right after. Those sales and Black Friday are my shopping times! Yea it doesn't happen every year but I've hit platinum a couple times and mostly off their sales. I really like their store pickup option now cuz I don't have to go in but can get daily deals. Though FYI QVC carries urban, tarte, philosophy, and IT and can have some great deals. A lot of my IT stuff comes from them as the price gives you a brush for like $2 over the price of just the makeup at ulta. I currently have an auto delivery from them on IT cc, mascara, and their Je ne sais quoi lip for like $50 maybe $40. I've gotten that same It combo. That's when I fell in love with the je ne sais quoi lip balm. (The honey color isn't as good with my winter ghostly paleness though.). QVC is also where I got the giant philosophy face wash duo.

These days that doesn't always happen. Maybe I just need to start doing better...I recently ordered some conditioner with keratin. I'm hoping that might get it into better shape.

Where do I lodge my complaint about aging-induced chin hair? I've got a Trial hair zapper I use on those. Mostly works on the really dark hairs, but those are the most embarrassing ones, anyway.

It's more of a maintenance/preventative, not a cure. Sloughs off the dead skin cells, and the only liquid foundation that doesn't actually cause acne for me. If you're getting cystic acne, that suggests it's hormonal. I would totally go to a dermatologist for that. In fact, I did go to one for my acne rosacea problem, and I take a low dose antibiotic, as well as use a prescription topical gel. It is hormonal and it's bull shit. I didn't have acne this bad as a teen why now?! I only get a cystic one every once and awhile right now they seem to have calmed down. If they get as bad as they did when they first appeared again I will likely consider a dermatologist. Right now it's mostly gross maskne. I wash my face and masks religiously but having to wear one all day at work with only a 30 minute break for lunch has been hell on my skin. Spironolactone has been my lord and savior for keeping painful cystic acne away.

Where do I lodge my complaint about aging-induced chin hair? I use silkn laser. Costco sells one that goes on sale sometimes. Works pretty good. It's less than $200 and worth the money.

Think Imma go with the morphe 39s such a gem palette. Tempted by the urban decay ultraviolet, but I want more variety the first go. Any suggestions about catching a sale, or should I just pull the trigger?
I decided my new year’s resolution can be trying to work my way through (or pitch if old) all the skin care samples I’ve collected. I swear they breed in there or something!

I am 99% sure I bought the UD violet palette but I definitely have not played with it yet. I say 99% bc I need to clean my bathroom to find it.

Where do I lodge my complaint about aging-induced chin hair? If you find the place, let me know. Back when I was in college, my grandmother lived with us. Periodically, she’d have me get the tweezers to go chase her chin hairs. Lots of eye rolling in my 19 year old brain about how could these things possibly drive you nuts.....I mean, it’s not like it’s a ZIT. Fast forward 40+ years. I get it. <needing to get the tweezers and chase a hair around my chin today....I think it’s long enough to catch now>

Morphe has sales regularly. Check that website as well as the Ulta site before you order. Ulta has a standing $3.50 off $15 coupon. They also have other coupons and discounts periodically. ETA: This is a good one too for that color story. L.A. Girl 16 Color Mastery Eyeshadow Palette www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=pimprod2012389

Does silkn work well for larger areas? I have had laser treatment under my arms, bikini line, and had just started on my lower legs when the pandemic hit. I have a few stray hairs in the first two areas that I'd like to touch up, as well as larger areas on my legs. I'd rather do it at home, if it works, than pay the salon. The salon lasers worked well for me because I have pale skin, dark hair, and have never been particularly 'hairy'.

Though a few years back I didn't go until I finished my legs so only like half the hair is gone there. I am more on the hairy side. Do my upper lip too.

I have blue eyes, fair skin and a red head or strawberry blonde- until this summer. I started coloring my hair when I was about 50 my original color. Stopped durin Covid lock down and thought it would be gray. Surprise, it’s now sort of white but with enough reddish that hairdresser calls it platinum blonde. Jersey guy also says I’m blonde Anyway no idea about eye colors, still using same foundation, brown mascara and gray eyeshadow
Any suggestions?

I've been experimenting with all kinds of eye colors. I've learned I like the gold shades and amberish shades a lot. I thought I would like the browns, but not so much. They are too dark for me. My eyes are mostly blue but sometimes greenish. I also have very fair skin. These days, I'm mostly that whitish gray. There's still a little brown in my hair but not much. Just play around. You'll probably find some colors you didn't know you liked.

I experimented today and it was a fail. I tried pulling out three colors from my shirt but they just do not work together on the eye. Live and learn it comes off when I wash my face.

Has the texture changed or something? Any damage around the point where the hair tie sits? I’m not much help...even in normal times my hair spends most of its time in a pony or bun and I haven’t been for a cut in over a year now. Getting kinda ugly. I need to bite the bullet and schedule a cut. I have very thick curly hair and it is naturally very dry. In normal times I put a leave in conditioner on it everyday. These days that doesn't always happen. Maybe I just need to start doing better...I recently ordered some conditioner with keratin. I'm hoping that might get it into better shape. I wrestle with dry hair myself. It’s even drier now that I’ve bleached it. Andi is the makeup guru, I might have something to offer to the curly hair ladies as far as suggestions, although I ASSume my hair is more tightly curled than yours. Besides leave-in conditioner, what do you do/use to try to keep your hair moisturized? In other words, what is your normal routine to take care of your hair? Despite my tiny curls and the bleach, I manage to keep my hair moisturized, soft and frizz free when I want it like that. Sometimes I don’t really mind the frizz lol.

I actually just bought some new products at Ulta on Saturday and I really like them (though they are not cheap). They are the Miracle 10 leave in conditioner, a Chi product (can't remember the exact name but it is a protein) and Curlsmith gel. They seem to be working really well. I have actually started liking my hair again the last 2 days. I use the loreal shampoo and conditioner for frizzy hair. I also like this olive oil product though I can't remember who makes it. It's not expensive though and last a long time.

I second the conditioner. My hair got super long even for me when I went 13 months without a haircut because of covid. It was getting tangled and coming out badly. I only realized after getting it cut that I never increased the amount of conditioner I was using even though it way longer than usual.

L'oreal 8 Second Wonder Water. It's amazing. I only wash my hair 2-3 times a week and I use it once a week instead of conditioner. It frigging works, well, wonders. I have fine, dense, wavy hair.
