Weekly check in Hit step goal is all I can say about last week. This week step goal is 100,000. I am going to have a stretch goal of 120000. I am only working 4 days this week and am going to be in a virtual conference all day Friday. Hoping to get in a few steps (mainly to stay awake) lol Work increasing water intake. No eating after 8:30. 01/1/19 177.2 01/1/20 165.2 02/1/20 161.0 03/1/2020 163.9 04/1/2020 159 05/1/2020 157.6 06/01/2020 159.2 07/01/2020 157.2 08/01/2020 162 09/01/2020 161.6 10/01/2020 160.8 11/01/2020 164.2 11/02/2020 164.4 Congratulations flutterby on your October win. After a pretty great October step and exercise wise, November is going to be slow. Exercise wise, I have a light week this week with only spin classes scheduled until the weekend (don't worry, I have my own spin bike, I'm not braving a gym yet) and then starting on the 12th, I'll be visiting my parents for a few days. The last time I visited my parents was back in July and I fell while out running and sprained my ankle. So I will be doing no strenuous workouts the days I'm there! LOL. And I have a feeling this week will involve more adult beverages than normal. Soooo, November is just going to be about maintaining and not sliding too far backwards.

I slacked off toward the end of October, so I missed my step goal by just over 10,000. I'm still plugging along on the low carb eating plan - down 4 pounds with 3 to go. I can't believe I'm saying this, but bacon is getting a little boring. I broke my no-Starbucks streak and bought a cold brew the other day. That's 1 in the last month? 2 months? Whatever, so I think I can safely say I broke that habit.
This month:
Lose those 3 pounds before I gain them back over Thanksgiving Step goal of 500,000 which is really going to be a stretch I forgot I was going to start doing arm workouts. Maybe I'll get to that but probably not.
Great job on the October step challenge everyone!

Well already failed on not eating after 8:30. Got home from work late. Dinner was ready at 8:24. I can eat quickly just not that quickly.
Time to get in my steps.

Weekly check in
Hit stretch goal. Nothing else went as planned. I ate too much and had a few too many adult beverages.
This week's goal is 90000 with a stretch goal of 100,000. I am having a in office procedure on Friday and not sure how I will feel afterwards. Here are my other goals no eating after 8:30, drink 24 ounces of water after work, and try to start doing some strength training such as planks.

I did a work out four days last week, so I do feel better in that regard. Water intake is still good.
Eating of junk food is out of control. All day. I'm going to track my calories--which I've not really done for a year. Goals for this week: two days of cardio; three days of strength training <1300 calories/day <100 carbs/day

It looks like I forgot to check in last week. REALLY been slacking on my steps - work has just been so busy! I'm not even going to come close to hitting my November goal. Low carb eating is fine, just boring. I've lost 5.5 pounds, so 1.5 to go, and if I don't lose it, meh, close enough.
This week: Improve my steps - aiming for 14,000 a day Continue the lame low carb until Thanksgiving, or at least until next Monday or Tuesday, and then ease up on it a bit I've been doing this "mindfulness" thing on Fitbit, which is actually kind of nice. Do that all 7 days this week.
Good enough. Have a great week everyone!

My step count slack-off continues. I missed my weekly goal by 15 steps. Same excuse as last week - work is super busy, weather is cooler, plain old laziness, etc. My weight loss has stalled at 5.5 pounds, so I'm calling it good enough and upping my carb intake to 40-50/g a day.
This week, MUST DO BETTER!!
Avg. 14,000 daily steps Do my best to maintain my weight (with Thanksgiving this week - eeek!)
Have a great Thanksgiving all!

Goals for last week: two days of cardio; three days of strength training..........actually did two days of cardio; two days of strength training <1300 calories/day..........actually did: four of seven days were below 1300 calories. Only Sunday was completely askew. <100 carbs/day..........actually did no, this was not as successful. Better than I had been doing but not successful except for two days.
Goals for this week: three days of cardio; three days of strength training; two days of yoga <1300 calories/day <100 carbs/day

Weekly Check in Hit step goal. Water intake could improve. This week's goals. 100,000 steps. Drink 24 ounces of water after work. Thinking my strength training will be snow shoveling if the weather nerds are correct. Monthly check in Crushed the step goal by over 39000. I have hit my step goal for the year. Unfortunately I have not done well with weight loss.
I am going to set this months step goal at 450,000 with a stretch goal of 475,000.

Congrats on the awesome step count in November, ners! November was a slacker of a month for me. My step count was way down, my exercising days were way down. UGH. My weight, however, is the same as last month, so at least I managed to maintain that. My December goal is just "beat November" which really shouldn't be difficult. I'm sitting at my desk watching it snow right now. It's been snowing since about 11pm last night. There will be ZERO walks for me today (I did get a 45 min spin session in earlier) but my step count suffers when I don't managed to actually leave my house on bad weather days. But I just don't have it in me to bundle up and go out in this mess today.

The month is off to an ok start. I managed to get some outside exercise in, even though it was cold and randomly snowy. Mostly, I've stuck to inside workouts. This is going to be a long winter if our weather continues this pattern. Usually our winters aren't terrible, but it's 2020, so I'm expecting a winter apocalypse this year, haha.

I was doing better with eating, but then yesterday two different people brought over plates of Christmas treats. Unfortunately, they're good bakers!
Our garage gym is almost set up. We've been able to use it for about a month. Today we hung the television. The bike that we ordered arrived today also; we'll get it out of the box tomorrow.

I wish we had room for a full on home gym. I bought a spin bike over the summer and I love it. But i'm a runner at heart, so I try to still run a few days a week. It's so hard/miserable in the winter. And, while I'd be willing to spend the money for a treadmill, we just really don't have the room. But at least by having the spin bike I can workout indoors when it's raining, snowing, icy, etc. But with WFH, I miss being able to get out of my house, even just for a walk around the block, on bad days.

I'm officially up ten pounds since March. I rolled my ankle during my leg work out this morning. I'm damned annoyed with myself.

Popping in, need to make this reporting a habit.
12/23... 147.0. This is 10 pounds heavier than last year, 13 pounds heavier than my favorite weight.
I’m doing intermittent fasting and besides that my main issue is that I eat too much of the “highly palatable” tasty stuff: mainly baked goodies.
I have started tracking my steps, as of yesterday. 3551. I’m not counting any workouts, step tracking is to increase my actual activity during the day.
