DD brought home stuff from the place where they had dinner Sunday. There was a fried chicken breast so I scraped off the breading and turned it into a chicken sandwich. It was tasty. She and DGD went to an Italian place for a late lunch and brought back garlic knots for me. I had one for dessert After while I'm gonna eat the last bit of apple crisp with vanilla bean ice cream. Maybe another garlic knot... Can't say I don't eat right You must have a super fast metabolism. I'd be on My 600 Pound Life if I ate like that. I hate you now. Who am I kidding. I couldn't hate you.

if you have garlic as a food group, you are absolutely doing it right. Preach! That's one thing we never run out of in the andi household.

I'm hoping I have a roll of sausage in the freezer. If so I'll make biscuits and gravy. If not, I have no idea. I made tacos last night so not that.

The stir fry/crack slaw was a hit so tonight is a repeat. And it's super easy and this week is kicking my butt.
I added more carrots, a bell pepper and green beans this time. I like this dish.

andi9899 Consider that I only eat one meal a day... Truly. I used to eat a substantial breakfast, no lunch but a lot of water, and supper. That was when I was still a cleaning fairy. One day I decided that it's stupid to eat simply because the clock says it's time to eat. Now I eat if I get hungry. Sometimes I don't get hungry. I still drink a lot of water, though, and eat a piece of Aldi's Choceur dark chocolate at random times during the day. The moral of this story is you only need to eat when you're hungry. If you drink a lot of water and eat a piece of dark chocolate here and there throughout the day, you're golden and a size 4. Healthy? I dunno. I feel fine, but my next physical isn't until November. ETA: Wait! Being the biscuit bitch means I easily manage 10,000 steps/day on the days that I work and making those biscuits, toting 50 lbs of biscuit mix at a time, and a big carton with nine half gallons of buttermilk several times a day, not to mention all that movement with the rolling pin counts for exercise, no? So you gotta throw in some exercise, too. I dunno about the other four days. Sometimes I don't get off my dead center.

I was about to say, @missrigby eats like a bird. when I ate less volume, I ate whatever the eff I wanted - linguine carbonara was on the regular rotation. last summer comes to mind. I had a morning snack, and a full meal around 4 or 5pm and called it good. that was 20lbs ago.

Yeah, I've been leaning the direction of not eating according to the clock and a lot of times only eat once her day as well. I need to get better about exercising. I go to the gym twice a week, but need to do more. I lack motivation when left to my own devices.

Accckkkk! sorry, ma'am. you're not fluffy. you've been lamenting that your jeans no longer fit because they are too big for you. fluffy means you're poofed out like a mushroom top over your pants, like many of us. it's actually been over a year since I bothered to wear jeans, M took me out for my birthday last year, and it was a cold rainy night. I doubt anything would fit me rn.

I'll just make bacon and eggs instead. There will definitely be biscuits too. I have a few potatoes to use up. I can fry those too. Yum.

I can't help with the gravy, but did want to update that pesto tortellini is off the table for the rest of the week bc I picked that for tonight. cleanup involves the pasta pot and sieve, and there no chicken and roasted tomatoes. I'm over work today, and I'm done. 🤷♀️

My grandma used to make hamburger gravy and homemade biscuits for dinner sometimes. That was so good.

I have been going through a container of mushrooms and have done the following -
Over the weekend I did a mushroom & cheese egg scramble
Added extra mushrooms to a frozen pizza - Sunday lunch/dinner
Cooked down several and than had cream of mushroom soup with added cooked pork for dinner last night.
Tonight I am finishing off the Mushroom soup buy cooking a burger and doing mashed potatoes to be the bowl in a frugal weird version of gravy and mashed potatoes. or some type of stroganoff w/o noodles.
The remainder of the container I will put into the freezer to pull out and add to my garlic & rosemary beef stew that will eventually be made sometime this fall / winter.
Tomorrow I will be baking brown rice with veggies and having more pork for dinner. Than I can make pork fried rice and have that for a few days.

I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with boneless pork chops tonight. they aren't thick enough to stuff with cheesy garlic wilted spinach. I'm going through the links I've saved but haven't tried yet. any opinions? San Francisco slow cooker chops <- I don't cook with much brown sugar except in a bunch of Korean recipes I don't make often. pork scaloppini <- I could butterfly/thin slice the chops I have Southern smothered pork chops <- I don't really know why I saved this one, it doesn't sound all that appealing today. I just found this link and I'll check them out as well - 16 best boneless pork chop recipes

I think you have an air fryer chiver? I coat them in olive oil then toss in spices and shredded parm and air fry. They turn out juicy and delicious.

I do, but it's been mothballed for awhile since the last house. I think I know which crate it's in, but

I picked up some green beans when I ran out to Walmart just now, I can always just steam those and roast some potatoes for sides, and do pork marsala. there's always mushrooms in my house.

Not overly sweet. I don't like things that are super sweet so if I'll eat it you probably would unless you don't like sweet stuff all. Now salt, you may not want to eat the same as me because I go in on salty food.

I think I'll do this instead. the only thing I'm missing is an actual lime, for the zest. there's always a bottle of "RealLime" unsweetened juice in my fridge, based on my Cosmo habit. I did save both links, though. I'll try the other one another night
